Hello.... greeting the Pacific North West! 🌲🌲🌲. Born in Boston though. I am so excited about beginning this wonderful swap-bot experience. I've been "crafty" all my life. My interests are varied. I was a stay at home mom until all my children were in grade school. In order to have the same schedule as my children I became a school bus driver, and 19 years later I'm still sitting in the seat! When I heard about swapping I felt that it was a perfect fit for me AND to share. The best of both worlds! Right?!
I used to teach kindergarten which was a perfect fit for me because kindergarten is education disguised in one big craft session.
I love to walk and swim, hiking and a good bike ride. Camping and walking on the beach.
What would the world be without music..... right now my playlist has on it...
Rihanna's "Love on the brain",
Adel's "Hello" - Well all of Adel,
Mumford and Son, Macy Gray, Journey, Duffy, Chicago, Elton John, Michael Jackson, U2, Train, Journey, Beetles, Tracy Chapman, Lauren Hill, well I could go on and on. I'm kinda an eclectic person of sorts and it translates in my music, reading and crafts!! I'm afraid I don't like country or hard rock though.
I love to read and belong to a book club. What fun it is and it broadens my reading. I like easy reading but don't object trying something new. Some books on my shelf.... Girl on the Train, Winter Garden, Man Called Ove, A wolf called Romeo, The Shack, James Patterson, The Women in Cabin 10, The Light Between Oceans, Big Little Lies, Unbroken, again very eclectic. I love bookstores(older ones more so) and libraries and the feel of a good book in my hands.
Some of my favorites, Pride and Prejudice The Help, Nima Island, Training Day, Eight Below, Marvel movies - Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Crash, Forrest Gump, The Princess Bride, I like based on true life uplifting movies, Action and adventure, Not good with scary, scary movies. No Saw or Geeper Creaper..... 😁
Hmmmm - there just isn't enough time or ones attention span to really do my crafting justice...!! 😊 So let me just say ........ I ....L O V E ..... Paper crafts but have have been seen doing - Knitting, Crochet, beading, Cross stitch - But mostly I'm hooked on paper crafts. I do scrapbooking, journaling, making my own envelopes and cards. I love paper plain or lined of any color and shape, well maybe not every shape. I'm learning about pocket letters, I think I'm leaning toward the mini kind! Inchies and twinchies, I could get into all the little things I love - lets just say anything that has to do with embellishing my work. BUT I try my best to always craft beautiful work and want to swap with those feeling the same way and are committed to following through and doing their very best.
I also want to mention that Pen Palling, snail mail🐌, have a special play in my heart. I like short or long letters typed or hand written in our out of the United States. Swapping little things or not is fine with me. This includes PC - I love collecting them. No convicts and only women, I'm afraid we wouldn't have much in common otherwise. (I always feel bad saying that).
Anything Political, Cruelty to Animals - well cruelty of any kind, No religious items please, Dark art, Insects - except ladybugs, or Horror Movies... Yikes!
I LOVE Coca-Cola, American Flags, Lighthouses, PC,s, Stationary and notecards and mini pocket letters, die cuts, Frank Lloyd Wright Architecture, Daisy and Sunflowers, Watermelon, Owls, ladybugs, elephants and giraffes, Ribbon and lace, Journals, Fountain pens, Vintage, Stamps, Pen pals, Traveling, Going out to dinner with friends, York peppermint patties,
