Mixed media, fiber artist. For about the last 30+ yrs., nearly always cat mom to two. But, as happens, as of 3/21/24, my beloved 14.5 yr old Marian Anderson brown tiger domestic long hair had to leave me and the cat she fostered 13+ yrs ago.

Love paper. I make paper. Love fabric. I have made girls dresses for internatl charities. Trims for their dresses would be great. On my To Do list is to make pet beds from my fabric scraps for animal shelters. I recycle/repurpose for art.

LIKES: Flamingos, No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency, Sea horses (hippocampi), Dark chocolate, coffee, Flowers, Siddhartha, I like floral motifs, circle motifs, buttons, African and Asian inspired designs. I am more fond of jewel, primary and brights than pastels and neutrals, although you got to have them, too.

I like rubberstampIng, cardmaking, junk journals, embellishments, altered books, and making decorated papers.

I like unusual punches and die cuts. Unusual paper napkins. Unusual or teeny buttons. Specialty ribbons and yarn. Charms. Washi.

12/2017- News Flash: I just bought a Scan n Cut -

DISLIKES: No edibles, plez. No tea, please. No Clothing labels from the inside of garments (although I have seen some very dramatic art made from these.) No Convenience/grocery store receipts. No condiment packets from fast food places, I.e., Salt and pepper packets, ketsup packets.

I have enough list pad sheets, unless profile related.

Not fond of cutesy, or kiddie, but quirky is o.k.
