About Me

I am a 53 year old mom, wife, business owner, dog mom, daughter, and best friend. I am a complex creative in the second half of life. My family and faith always come first. I own my own business in Small business management with focus on finances.

I enjoy creative planning, journaling, writing, reading, stationary, greeting cards, paper, looove paper and some crafting. Three things I like the most are Flowers, Butterflies and hearts.

I enjoy spending time with my family and my dogs.

My favorite color is red, but lately I lean more towards pinks, lighter blues, etc. I am a curious girl and want to learn about other people and cultures. I am looking to eventually have friends all over the world. I read a lot, lately a lot of self development & Business, but like fiction also- Nicholas Sparks, John Grisham.

Pen paling and swapping is brand new to me. So far I have a few Pen pals and honestly, my favorite part is putting together the items to send, I enjoy the giving part! My insta is @second_halfmusings however, since I am on a computer most of the day I am not the greatest with social media. I enjoy a simple life with my hubby and my favorite place to be is the beach.

I LOVE movies, nothing horror though. My all time favs are To Sir with Love, Ever After, How to lose a guy, The Greatest Showman....I could go on and on.

I eat pretty clean and Gluten Free (health issues) but I do love chocolate.Italian and Mexican are some favorite foods.

I have become pretty introverted in my later years, as the things I enjoy are quiet activities. Very long story short ...I have multiple health issues which keeps my world a bit small but recently very small to limit my exposure. I look forward to making friends in the US and abroad!

I do not have listed out specific likes or dislikes as I am swapping more for the giving and I am appreciative of anything that comes to me.

Response: I am so glad that you enjoyed your mail. As for the florals, I look on line or makes copies from papers I have etc. Some i scanned in from books I got a t the goodwill.
