My name is Tisha and I live in Michigan, USA. I am a nurse but am most passionate about animals. Any animals. All animals. I have fostered cats and dogs for almost 10 years. My only foster fail was a 3 legged shepherd named Stevie. He was such a good buddy. Right now I have a 20 year old cat named Daisy I just adopted in April.
I adore wildlife. Even the ones others consider nuisances or ugly or creepy. They were all put here by God for a reason. Let's protect their habitat!
I've been teaching myself to crochet using the kits and tutorials on Annie's Kit Clubs.
I am a postcrosser so love postcards, stickers and washi tape. These are the things I am most interested in swapping. My favorite postcards are colorful - ones that spark joy and put a smile on my face. Life is too short to not have some pizazz in it! I'm not fond of scenic postcards, but really any postcard received is a good one. If yours has any pop culture from the 70s or 80s, please send it my way :-) I am collecting Jacky Kho Wonderpost and Rina Zeniuk Blue Cats cards.
I am also enjoying Bible study and PenPal swaps. I am a Christian so faith based items welcome.
I like to read, mostly fiction, historical fiction and some fantasy. To make me feel better about myself, I do try to diversify and read some non fiction too. In 2023 I read 45 books. Hoping to achieve that goal again in 2024. I have SO many books on my Want to Read Goodreads account.
My favorite book of all time is likely Safely Home by Randy Alcorn. Some books I gave 5 stars to this past year are: All the Light We Cannot See, The Storied Life of AJ Fikry, A Dog's Way Home, The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, Remarkably Bright Creatures, Gone Girl, The Historian and Last Christmas in Paris.
I’m not very picky. I can always find things at used book sales. But I have a few books on my Amazon wish list. https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/OJH33VL45QQL?ref=wlshare
I am happy to be a part of this community. Snail mail is the best! I have been weighing my envelopes to ensure proper postage, but if I’ve mailed you something with postage due, please let me know and I will mail it to you.
Have a happy and healthy 2024 and please rate promptly. Email me if you have any concerns about my swap. Peace!
