Cosychaos

Hi! I'm a mum of two kids, one primary and one at high school, relocated from the UK to Australia. My husband travels a lot for his job, and we love to receive postcards/mail from around the world, collecting stamps and coins from as many different places as possible :)

I'm a bit of a craft/book/chocolate lover, dabbling in lots of different areas. My favourite crafts at the moment are based around painting/journaling, although I've tried my hand at most things, from quilting and embroidery to mosaics and painted stones.

I have a wide variety of interests, some of my favourite postcard subjects are: illustrated quotes (also handdrawn), woodcut pictures, pictures from fairy tales, Art - Alphonse Mucha, Hiroshige, Rackham, Tiffany glass, Egyptian or Asian inspired, traditional clothes/crafts/foods, historical buildings, colourful/rainbow collections eg spices, flowers, famous landmarks, sunrise/sunset/stars/city lights, pen/ink and watercolour sketches, vintage travel, chalkboard art, Erte/ Art Deco design, beach/ocean, Mediterranean landscapes.

I particularly enjoy swaps involving beautiful handmade items (mail art, ATC, postcards, craft items, etc) or junk journal supplies, including washi tape!! Favourite themes for washi or paper include succulents and cacti, the sea, water colour designs, Asian influence, flowers, Moroccan/African designs, space, mermaids, unicorns and fairy tales. I'm not too keen on block colours, simple geometric designs, or quotes on tape. Please don't send tea bags (unless specific to the swap) or cutouts from magazines.

I've done some postcrossing and happy mail swaps elsewhere before finding swap bot, so I'm looking forward to joining in here! The post from Australia can take a while, so please be aware it may take a bit longer to reach you than from most other places!
