ATTENTION:
Recently I have been having some problems with mails (both incoming and outgoing), there have been some delays and lost cards which never made it to destination. For such, kindly advise me if no mail has arrived to your doorstep after three weeks of sending deadline. I would appreciate and process a resend to my recipients.
Kumusta? It means 'how are you?' in Filipino, and it's the first word you get to see written on my postcards.
It’s been a while since I’ve found myself into postcrossing. I love everything about each postcard, what it says about the origin, the art and the stamp that empowers it to travel. I have never been to a lot of places but a postcard can surely provide a glimpse of what the place can offer.
I do creative stuff too! Do not be surprised if a card or mail that you receive is a product of my doodles. I do calligraphy on the side, sometimes into collage. Nick Bantock (author of the Griffin and Sabine Trilogy is a great influence). You can find my artwork and photos via my Instagram account: jedcel.
I do prefer to receive all postcards written and stamped. I also collect stamps but not into major collecting, only the prettiest and colourful ones. The more stamps I see makes my day happy!
Please write something about yourself, the things that interest you, or maybe just write about the weather. The space in each card is blank and do a creative way of writing my address and your narratives.
For your guidance and to make your life easier, I’m into the following themes for postcards:
Lighthouses
Paintings (Van Gogh, Picasso, Matisse, Kahlo and modern art!) and illustrations!
Geishas and anything Japanese-theme postcards
Cherry Blossoms (Sakura)
Ballerinas
Mermaids
but please NO PERSONALIZED or HANDMADE CARDS unless the swap-theme requires you so.
And lastly, transit time from the Philippines takes about two weeks or more to the Americas and less to Asia but it could take a month to other countries such as Europe and Africas. Please be patient on the arrival of mails from me. If it takes a month and still no arrival, I would be glad to perform a RESEND.
BUT, it’s the same for my incomings and partners, I will REQUEST a resend should there be no arrivals after a period of almost a month. I will however, send you a message two weeks at least after the outgoing deadline. Just to be fair, I guess.
Should you wish for a direct swap, I would be glad to exchange a card with you, just send me a request via email: [email protected].
Thanks and happy postcrossing! I am glad to be exchanging cards with you.

Thank you so much for the unassigned postcard for the postcard roulette swap round august. It was such a treat to receive this extra. Thank you.
My apologies -- in my gratitude and excitement, I forgot to note in my previous comment that your map card was for WIYM: Postcard Roulette Swap, Unassigned :)
You are simply the best! Thank you for the wonderful historical map card decorated with the coolest patterned washi, rubber stamped images (I could use some buko juice right now, haha), and great postage! I love it when postage conveys history or teaches something new, encouraging me/the recipient to look up the image/topic. When I visited Manila, my uncle suggested simply posting my cards in Tokyo because he thought it would be more efficient! I was disappointed not to get to visit a Filipino post office. Next trip :) I still owe you a response for your thoughtful, generous letter and Lea Salonga-signed Jasmine card! Thank you for again brightening my mailbox and day, friend!
Sorry for this late comment, but thanks a lot for the beautiful postcard you sent me in the postcard roulette #2!! It made my day! :)
Thank you for the extra postcard in Postcard roulette round 2. greetings Anne-lies
Thank you for the wonderful Basco Lighthouse postcard. I love the way you captured the clouds in the sky next to the lighthouse. Really beautiful. Thank you so much, Shirley
