Hello! My name is Tania and I currently live in Japan. I am originally from Malaysia but have lived in a few other countries. I have been living in Japan with my husband for four years and we're loving this beautiful country.
My hobbies are collecting mint and used postage stamps, creating mail art and making cards. I have been making cards for a couple of years but I am very new to mail art, so please bear with me! Living in a country where Japanese is spoken predominantly can be lonely sometimes as I can't speak the language as well as English. So I decided to join Swap-bot to meet new friends through snail mail. I don't have any wish lists as I'm happy to receive anything in the mail (please see note at the bottom). But, I would love anything handmade by you! I'm all about sharing handmade (don't worry, if the swap calls for store-bought, I will send store-bought).
I have a bunch of Greetings from Japan postcards which I have no use for as I don't swap postcards very much. If you'd like one, just send me a PM with your address and I'll happily drop it in the mail as quickly as I can. Also, let me know if you'd like it sent naked or in an envelope.
I always send my swap on time. If it's letter box friendly, I will drop it off and then mark as sent, regardless if it's a weekday or weekend. For swaps that need to be sent as a parcel, I will drop them off at the post office during weekdays.
I'm more than happy to re-send if you haven't received my swap after 3 weeks. Please send me a message and let me know. But, please bear in mind that international mail can take up to 2 months and some countries may take longer than others.
Should you have any questions or problems, please don't hesitate to contact me. I'm happy to work things out together and resolve any issues.
As Japan has very strict laws regarding incoming mail, I would appreciate it if you didn't include any kind of food (individually packaged tea bags are fine) or plants (fresh or dried) when sending me mail with the exception of mail within the country. Thank you for your understanding.
