Comment: I'm sorry to have to rate you a 1, but I never received anything. You said you would resend, but I don't know if you did. I sent you 3 PMs that you haven't replied to, including one letting you know I would rate you down if I didn't hear from you.
Response: Sorry my dear. In all honesty, I have been ignoring my emails that have not pertained to my university classes, and really only been accessing facebook and instagram in my spare time. I will be sure to get this re-sent once finals are done. It was totally my fault, and I won't beg for a 5. I will take what you feel fits. Have an excellent day. <3 .
Comment: Thank you for the great, enthusiastic and encouraging package--just what I needed today! I'll have to send you an email to answer a few of your questions :-) But I love the bookmark (I'm going to put it in my 101 Things book right now--that was my thing 100, I think it was). And the yarn is practically too nice to use! But I look forward to lots of practice with it. Thank you so much! I can't wait to accomplish my next big things so I can open the last package- so neat that you wrapped them all!
Comment: Although I admire the pretty pink stationery (flamingoes are so beautiful), I think I like the 8 elephant letter papers with matching envelope most. They appear super professionally done. And I'm lucky to get a mail themed envie, but secretly I love the ugly sweater one the best. A <3 thanks goes out to you for all of the time and energy that you put into making this swap great!
Comment: Thanks! Your story reminded me of when I was wee and tried to stay up all night reading. My bedtime was 7:30 and I made it to 11:30 by getting as far as I could in The Anthology of Children's Literature :0)
Comment: Thanks for the nice slams. Ill keep them moving even though you're not in the group anymore. If you could please send the slams you get from someone else to the owners, that would be appreciated
Response: I'll definitely do that as soon as I receive. Thank you for the rating and heart. <3
Comment: I hate to rate "1", but the deamcatchers you "supposedly" sent on Sept 8th never arrived (and Canada to Canada is not that long). I will gladly change the rating if I ever receive something. How sad to be flaked in a private swap. ~ June 11th, 2013... I received this AWESOME package !!! How amazing and sad at the same time. Amazing because the dreamcatcher is beautiful (nicer then the "made in China" ones) and all the extra goodies are super appreciated. A bit sad because I can't possibly rate the content as it deserves to be.. a 5 with a heart when it's almost 4 years late. I wish I could give you a 3 and a heart because I would. Thanks so much and I wish you all the best in life.
Response: Toupti has been more than patient with my sorry butt. Canada Post is generally very reliable, so I do not have any tangible reason not to send it, aside from 2009 being an emotional year for me. All of that is under the water now, and I did sent a message on April 24 in hopes to reconcile. // June 11, Thank you for re-rating, I am so glad you finally got to receive the package you deserved to receive in 2009. Thank you for giving me a second (well, third?) chance. xo
Comment: I'm very sorry to give you a 3 but for a profile-based swap you've chosen something from my "don't send" list - flowers... :( Update on the second postcard: This is getting really awkward for me as this card has people on it. I had no idea my wishes could prove so difficult. I thought city views, nature or animals were easy to find for everyone even if you can't find something more specific from my wishlist. :(
Response: Oh.. I thought I did well this time around. I feel rather stupid. I am so sorry. :( I will send again.
Comment: It ran a little late (the postie said he put it in the wrong mail box but luckily they took it back to the post office) so I've missed out on giving you a heart but here is some ♥♥♥♥♥ and you deserved everyone of them! My gosh the knitted keychain bag is adorable! I would love to be able to knit that well! Everything you sent was awesome xx
It must have been my comp lol it wouldnt let me do the heart for some reason so yaaay I re-tried and it let me LOL
Response: I missed out on a heart because of the post man? Aw man! lol. I am so glad you enjoyed everything! :) Knitting is a slight obsession, I'm always finding something new to master (currently, fair isle knitting with 5 colours). Thank you for the 5, my dear! Have a fabulous week! ETA, thank you for the heart!!! :)
Comment: Great job and thanks for sharing your progress! I liked the picture prompts that allowed us to focus on one idea at a time.
Response: Thank you for the nice comments! I had a great time putting together the images, I can't wait to do the same for my blog (for my "blog every day for a month" goal), since it really allowed me to see progress and set goals to work toward. :)
Comment: What a fun presentation :-) You might try making it in powerpoint and then exporting the slideshow to PDF, so we can all read it. Anyway, good job on your goals so far. I hope you're enjoying Doctor Who (Torchwood is my favorite! I'm a Ianto fangirl). And you've got to show me photos of the LEGO tower once you have enough bricks to build it! (PS, ebay and bricklink are good places to buy more bricks and sometimes people freecycle them). Good luck!
Response: Thank you for the super feedback! I think I might try that another time, I didn't even consider that avenue of thought. I will be sure to keep in touch for the lego goal. I've looked on Ebay and Kijiji here, but results were skimpy. Hopefully summer brings better search results. :) Also, WOO DOCTOR! Can't wait to get into Torchwood, too!
Comment: Thank you so much for the sweet card (I love dogs!), your lovely note, and the teabags that I'll enjoy. Yes, this was a very thoughtful swap and I hope her mother is enjoying the cards she has received. I'm so sorry that you lost your mother at such an early age. I loved reading on your profile that you wore her wedding dress. My mother was a beautiful seamstress and she made my wedding dress, so that was special too.
Comment: I LOVED the neighbor meet suggestion! It hits home with me, since I've lived in my current apartment for a year now and wasn't even aware the apartment next door was occupied. I'll have to give that a shot :)
Comment: Thanks for the sweet letter and the beautiful flower stickers :) and thank you to your daughter for the cute barbie stickers! Hehe. Music education is a fun major, and I've been playing flute for 10 years. You have a GREAT taste in horror films, and thank you so much again for everything :) Feel free to message and/or write me any time!
Comment: Busy, Busy!! It is awesome that you are letting your kids take piano and violin. I took piano as a child and loved it! I considered starting my daughter in piano, but no one around here teaches it anymore!
Response: Thank you very much for the heart! My daughters were interested in music for some time, but we never really bothered to stop in to ask about registration and the cost of instruments. They were super excited when we popped in to register! Oh, it would be wonderful if you can find someone to teach. Perhaps put an ad up somewhere? Good luck!
Comment: Well 16 months later might seem like a record, I'm sure it's not. Thank you for getting around to fulfilling your e-mail swap. I enjoyed reading it and it was a complete surprise to find it in my PM box.
Response: Thank you very much for the rating. Have a wonderful new year.
Response: I sent a message on April 24, and got a response on May 8. I send a replacement package with extra goodies on May 8.
As with the other swaps I hope to reconcile, I will send replacements same day (or day after), and share a photo of it going out. I hope your enjoy your package, my dear!
Response: I did sent this questionnaire through Swap-Bot messages, and it was unread. Regardless, I did send a message on April 24 in hopes to reconcile by mailing a profile surprise instead of re-sending the email. Still waiting to hear back.
Comment: Love the postcard! I belong to American Indian Association here. We are having a Pow Wow the second weekend in October. Lots of dancers and very successful last year. Hoping for the same this year.
Comment: Simply ... FABULOUS! Normally, I try to ping on at least one answer as a favorite, but you provided so many astonishing ones that I sincerely cannot pick just one. Thanks for making me smile this early in the morning (trust me, that's kinda hard to do). ;o) Have a great day!
Comment: You are my hero!! I loved reading your answers and you sound like such a cool person, thanks for being honest and also super interesting :D and I hope your daughter feels better soon, it sucks being sick..
Response: Haha, thanks for the awesome compliments & the heart! I hope my daughter starts feeling better, too. She's a right old bag when she's ill. :P
Comment: Thanks! I enjoyed reading your responses, you have a great sense of humor. I tried to give you a heart but it wouldn't let me check the box, sorry about that! I laughed out loud about the permanent makeup remark, I saw a woman like that just the other day! Haha.
Response: The first time I tried giving a heart, I got so lost. Then I went back to "rate partners/etc", and the option to give hearts came up. Woo!
I'm glad you enjoyed my responses. I had fun filling it out. Heck, half of my facebook notes are surveys. Goes to show how I enjoy them. :P
Oh man, I know so many women that look like that. TANNING UNTIL YOU LOOK LIKE OLD COW HIDE =/= ATTRACTIVE. hah.
