Hello friend - My name is Emily, it's nice to meet you! I'm 27 years old and I live all the way up in Alaska in a little barn, my own little homestead. I am newly married (are you still allowed to say that after four years? Haha!), and my husband and I are parents to a sweet corgi puppy!
I AM CURRENTLY ON A TRIP TO SEE MY FAMILY FOR CHRISTMAS, THEREFORE I WILL NOT BE ON SWAPBOT UNTIL THE NEW YEAR. I WILL RATE SWAPS I RECEIVE WHILE I AM GONE WHEN I RETURN(THOUGH THERE SHOULDN'T BE MANY). THANK YOU FOR UNDERSTANDING AND MERRY CHRISTMAS!
My favorite things to do include reading, writing letters, scrapbooking (especially Project Life scrapbooking!), picking flowers, swing dancing with my husband, and hiking. Any time that I get to spend outside and with the people I love is counted as a blessing to me.
If you'd like to know more about me, go check out my blog listed above! I'm a hopeless romantic who loves to document her life in an old-fashioned way: through pictures and stories and recipes. So come read along!
Thanks for taking the time to read my profile, I hope we get to be friends. It was lovely meeting you!
I love crafting of all types! The one's I do most often are scrapbooking, sewing, crosstich and embroidery, mail art, and sometimes I'll try painting (but I'm not very good!).
My favorite color is gray (followed by aqua and bright red!), I love vintage and retro, mermaids, fairy tales, Alice In Wonderland, books of all types (though I particularly love mystery, the classics, and Bible study books), fabric, flowers, embellishments, washi tapes and stickers, Christian themed items (I'm a daughter of the King!), anything kawaii (Hello Kitty and My Melody are my favorite!), Russian nesting dolls, steampunk, old fashioned, I'm a sucker for anything folkloric (think old scandinavian dala horses and bright colored flowers),Tasha Tudor, homestead themed, old fashioned, and of course CORGIS!
-Stamps (vintage and used or pretty brand new ones -- especially flower themed or Christmas ones)!
-Washi tape samples
-Project Life cards
-Anything with toadstools/mushrooms
-Tea bags (I love floral teas especially. I'm not a big fan of fruity teas.)
-Bookmarks or Book plates
-Scandinavian themed items
-Anything involving corgis!
-Embellishments/Ephemera for scrapbooking
-Postcards (I love ones with artwork or paintings on them, flowers, views of where you live, or just anything pretty! I also love vintage postcards)
-Envelopes or stationery
-Poetry (perhaps a favorite of yours?)
-Favorite Bible verses
-Pressed flowers or flower seeds
-Anything involving ravens or crows
-Fairy Tale/Folkloric themed items
-Pretty pieces of fabric (doesn't matter how small, I love to craft and sew with them! Floral fabrics are my most favorite.)
-Steampunk themed Items
-I love the ocean and lighthouses!
-Baking Recipes (Cookies, cakes, ect...)
-Christmas, I love Christmas items! It's my most favorite holiday!
Really, anything you take the time and care to mail to me I will love. Just the excitement of opening up my mailbox and seeing something OTHER than a bill makes me happy. :)
I collect a few things! If you sent me anything at all pertaining to them I would be ecstatic. :)
