Update - 17 Mar 2023 - I have recently heard from partners that the post office machines seem to have been taking bites out of the long sides of envelopes and postcards. I apologize for this, but I can't force the post office to fix it. But I often take photos of what I send, so I can usually tell you what it said. I also recently revamped my profile to make it sleeker.

Update - 22 August 2020: Though this year has been weird, I'm proud of where I've come from. I made some amends on here, and I promise not to make the same mistakes.

Ratings Update - 3 June 2019: I don't frequent the site as often as I did in the past. I still love sending and receiving happy mail! The reasons for my 1 and 3 are because of mental health problems that I was having in addition to the holidays and overestimating how much I could swap. I won't make that mistake again, and I choose more carefully what I can commit to doing. I took about a year off from swapping before forgiving myself enough to try to swap again. Please forgive my past mistakes and trust that I will deliver something awesome to your mailbox!

• I'm Jess (they/them). I'm 34, nonbinary, bisexual, autistic, disabled, happily married, childfree by choice, d&d obsessed, and lover of all things that come through the mail. I started graduate school in January of 2023, and I'm loving it. I'm also a born and raised Floridian, but it's getting harder to stay here with all the book bans and restrictions being implemented especially as someone studying library and information sciences.

• My favorite color switches between purple and yellow. I especially like when the two colors are together. Pink, purple, and blue together are a good combo. I like things with lots of colors, and I shy away from neutrals, but they can really make other colors pop.

• I have 2 cats named Melody and Willy. We named Melody after a Doctor Who character; it was the name that fit her. On that note, my favorites are the Tenth Doctor and Rose. Willy was named by my brother and they moved in together in 2015. When he moved out, Willy stayed with us. But my brother just moved in again in 2023.

• In July of 2020, I started cross-stitching, and I love it! And I started doing an embroidery journal in 2023!

• I have a soft spot for rubber duckies, dragons, unicorns, mermaids, and pretty d20s.

Favorite authors are Jane Austen, Isaac Marion, John Green, Joe Hill, and Gillian Flynn.

I read a few comic books. Some of my favorites are: Chew, The Boys, Rat Queens, Locke & Key, and Invincible.

First off, I watch way too much television for my own good. These are a few of my favorites. The list keeps growing.

LOKI, Doctor Who, Supernatural, Psych, Star Trek of all varieties, FaceOff, Futurama, Phineas & Ferb, GHOSTS (UK), My Cat From Hell, Criminal Minds, Catfish, BuzzFeed Unsolved, Ghost Files, What We Do In The Shadows, The Last of Us, and Critical Role.

Fall and winter holidays are tend to be my favorite. And please excuse the random ordering of these holidays.

• Halloween - I throw an annual Halloween costume party (except '20&'21 because of COVID). I like anything related to Halloween, scary/creepy/cute/tacky it doesn't matter. I love it all. I also like campy slasher films. *Yule/Xmas - Even though I dislike it's association with religions, I like the giving spirit it brings. To me, it's kindness to others, sharing with others what they can't give themselves, and simply reminding people to think about others in the coming year. Snowmen and glittery Xmas/Yule cards are my favorite!
• Valentine's Day - I like all the pink and red. It's fun to reflect on love and all that it can do. It's similar to Xmas because this one is also about about sharing love and kindness.
• Mabon - I like to celebrate with a big feast made from seasonally appropriate foods.
• Imbolc - I try to make candles each year but I'm good at it.

I love tabletop games. A few of my favorites are Tsuro, Dixit, Lords of Waterdeep, Betrayal at the House on the Hill, and Dungeons & Dragons.

I am a Dungeon Master for a game that meets 2-3 times a month, and I play a Kobold Rogue in a monthly game that my husband DMs and a Dwarf Barbarian in a different bimonthly game he DMs. In the past, I have played a dumb elf wizard who didn't understand spell slots, a careless halfling bard, and a smuggler ghostwise-halfling swashbuckler rogue.

I like mermaids, rubber duckies, and dice. I am also interested in postcards that could be considered scandalous/risque/vulgar!

I would be totally shocked and overly excited if you included a unique rubber duckie with whatever you send me (I know that's asking a lot because they'd have to be in a box).

I am obsessed with pretty dice. I am a dice hoarder. I like the shiny, math rocks. I would love if you sent me a pretty d20, but like with the rubber ducks, I know it's a lot to ask because they are not flat.

Please respect me by not pushing your religious beliefs on me. I'm not monotheistic, so I'd prefer not to receive anything, unless it is Pagan, Celtic, Wiccan, Satanic Temple-related, or Atheist/Agnostic.

DO NOT SEND BIBLE PAGES, BIBLE QUOTES/SAYINGS, OR ANYTHING RELATED TO IT! I thought the paragraph above would suffice, but some of y'all think you can convert me. No, you can't. Religious trauma burned that bridge and the whole town with it. Please just stop.

Other than that, if it's not my taste, I will happily send it on to another swapper.
