I have a ton of rhubarb right now so instead of the fruit he suggested, i used 3 cups of a mixture of strawberries and rhubarb. It was AMAZING. A bit messy, but ABSOLUTELY wonderful.

Response: hey thanks! shredded wheat biscuits are in the cereal isle...you've heard of frosted mini wheats, no? same thing, but without the frosting and larger...(hence the lack of the word "mini" -- *wink*) http://www.mini-wheats.com/...it looks like Kellogg's only makes the mini -- post makes the full sized: http://postcereals.com/cereals/post_shredded_wheat/ You can use the minis, i am just not sure of the conversion...

Response: oh, do let me know if they work, they should...in fact, the other day the lentils didn't soften as much as they usually do so I cooked them on the stovetop (after having had done the slow cooker) and it worked just fine!
