Comment: I love that you sent a book related postcard! I don't love a lot of the "classics" believe it or not. Steinbeck makes me sad, the Great Gatsby is bizarre and infuriating, I never read the old man and the sea. I would say I really liked Slaughterhouse five, heart of darkness and the invisible man. :)

Comment: Thank you for the postcard! The picture is actually a lotus, not a lily. I do, in fact, have a green thumb. Check out pothos, a common indoor plant. It's very kind and forgiving, perfect for someone who wants to have plants but tends to fail at them. You can get various types of things that will let you know when to water them, and they can go a couple weeks without water. I had one pothos, but took some cuttings and now have five pothos plants, all from the same original one. They grow REALLY fast and do best with indirect sunlight.

Comment: If you do come out to Oregon, I suggest taking a trip down the coast. There are a lot of coastal towns that have been in films and shows (like The Goonies) as well as options for whale watching and having some seriously good seafood at low prices.
