Response: oh hooray! I'm so glad you liked him, it was a lot of fun to make. I felt bad that my carpal tunnel was so bad I couldn't write you a long note... and I'd been hanging on to the pin for just the right person and when I read your profile I thought you might like it. Thank you SO much for the heart!
Response: That bunny flew FAST! I'm so glad you like him, I think he's adorable - I just bought some polka dottie socks, so this is going to be fun. Thank you very much for the heart!
Response: Hey Mavis, thank YOU for the heart! I was hoping you'd like it. I got attached to the little thing but I'm pleased it made it to its happy home. Pin poking optional! Cheers!
Response: You're welcome - enjoy.
Response: Hooray for the postal service! So glad this one made it - check out my tasteless taste in books. The first postcard was a hoot: a girl with a white 60's bouffant/flip introducing her boyfriend to her attractive best friend and thinking, "who is about to steal you away from me."
Response: (just now getting back to you - sheesh!) That is my favorite Orlando postcard, I love the night scenes best and Lake Eola is so pretty with the palms and lighted buildings.
Response: oh MAN, I am so jealous. I think I'm going to have to do the same thing... I miss those cheesy books! I still re-read all my Beverly Cleary & Judy Blume's - why not those little gems? Thanks for the heart Mimi!

Response: Well, as a guy, you probably weren't enticed by reading about "12 Dancing Princesses." Don't know that my brother ever read ANY fairy tales. Thanks for rating.
Response: Yay, so glad it made it there finally! Thank you for the heart. I'm looking forward to joining more swaps in the new year, so thanks for hosting!
Response: Thank you so much for the heart! I thought it might be slow going from the holiday mail madness - and the weather this week --- crazy! I almost hate to confess we had sunny skies & temps in the mid 40's F today.
Response: Oh good, I'm so glad you liked it! I wished I coulda fit more "skull" into it, but I wanted the bird to be the star. And I love to raise caterpillars, too - the BEST part of living in Florida! Thank you for the heart, Ann
Response: Thank you for the impeccably spelled heart! And for not rating me a 4.
Response: Thank you for the uber-glitterated heart!
Response: Gosh, I can't decide between the Thelma & Louise Brad or the Kalifornia Brad --- hmmmm... Thanks for the heart, you made the swap fun!
Response: Are you SURE you scratched at your screen long enough? Or maybe all that pony smoke has blocked your sinuses? Oh well, thanks for the heart anyway... grumble grumble.
Response: oh thank YOU for all the stellar ideas that got passed around - the flaming aardvark was quite popular, especially when he was lighting up the wombat's joint. I'll be back to rate you latah! (thanks for the heart!)
Response: Wow - it got to you so quickly! Isn't it funny what you assume everyone else grew up with just because one has it in their own home? In that case he can be any bunny you want him to be and I'm pleased that you like him. I'm smiling just thinking about the shelf. Thank you for the heart and enjoy your holidays!
Response: Aw thanks, Ginny! I wanted to make it more "penguocentric" but I had all those xmas stamps... I realize now I listed children's picture books, which are not as nestle-down-for-a-long-read as a YA book, but I really do love to unpack those books and flip through them every year at Christmas. As for YA, of course The Long Winter (Wilder) is one of my faves for cold weather reading. Thank you for the heart!
Response: Hooray, it reached you before school break! I'm so glad you like it - I wasn't sure which Doctor you liked best, so I kind of left them out. Those angels give me the willies, so pretty and serene til you blink and then GAAHHHH! Thank you so much for the rating and star. (oops, heart - not star)
Response: Thank you SO much for the heart! I hope all the little guys stayed put for the trip, I worried over whether the glue would hold. I love that crackle paint too, I was at the craft store today looking for Rock Candy and they were out - waaah! Hope I see you around and, of course, I need to buy your stuff on etsy!
Response: BEST. COMMENT. EVER!!! Miss Ami, you are so fun to shop for/create for - expect more of it in the future. Or as Criswell would say, "the future will effect you too, in the future." lurve, Ann
Response: As badly as it hurt to cut up a Spiderman comic book, I really enjoyed putting the bookmark together - and it gave me an excuse to get out that Shrinky-Dink paper! Thanks for the rating.
Response: I'm so glad it finally got there! Well, you are pretty darn easy to "shop" for, and if I were any good at embroidery I would have made you something my own dang self. I'm very pleased you liked it and I sure do appreciate the heart.
Response: Mmm, just thinking about those hot chocolates makes me want to go out and buy some more! Wouldn't you know, my husband found the penguin fabric over the weekend - sheesh! If'n I get you in a swap again, I'll make you a dotee and send that with it. The towels can also double as napkins in a bread basket for the table. Thank you very much for the heart!
Response: Yaay! I was sweating it, but I'm glad you got this one. I could reeeally get hooked on making bookmarks, so I used the opportunity to make these a little different. That way if the others DO arrive, they won't be identical. And you never know with the first packet - it's the only one of my swaps that has ever gotten lost, (though one did take 3+ weeks to get to Canada,) so maybe there's hope. Thanks for the great rating and heart!
Response: You're welcome and thank YOU for the wonderful rating. The recommendations inspired me to reread those books (already finished one, halfway through the next,) plus the one my swapper suggested for me. Good fall fun - I love spooky books.
Response: Oh wow, Mona, you made my heart sing! I consider that high praise since you are such a fine swapper - you've gotten majorly rave reviews. Buh-lieve me, I could've continued working from your profile, it was such fun. I'm SO glad you liked everything. Thank you for my 1000 hearts & hugs!
Response: My pleasure, Tove! I could've gone a little crazy with the stamping but I tried to keep it simple - I looove Halloween so it was hard to stop! Now no one can borrow your bookmark. Thank you very much for the heart!
Response: Wow! Andi, I'm so glad your roommate is loving his dishpan hands! Hee hee, I was so pleased to find that mug - just wished I could have found a pink one! With a crown! Happy Swappin' PEP!
Response: Yeah, it was fun. This was the 3rd attempt to get that particular recipe onto a card, so I'm glad I got it "sorted out" this time. It's a truly yummy cupcake! Thanks for the hearty!
Response: I'm so glad you liked it! Everything was so much fun to find or make for this swap. It was pretty inspired, I thought. Thank you for the great rating!
Response: Aw, I'm sitting here smiling to myself from your kind words. I was pleased to send those little guys off to a happy home of toastiness (probably literally in Alaska!) Thank you for the great rating!
Response: It WAS a fun swap, wasn't it? I got a kick out of the website that inspired it... wish mine were as good as those. I wanted to send you a longer recipe, but no matter how I drew it, it wouldn't fit on a 3x5! I guess my tiny drawing days are over, I now use reading glasses just to write - yipe! Thank you so much for the heart!
Response: Hooray! I had SO much fun putting the package together - especially sewing the stuffed mushroom - it was one of my favorite swaps (i love anything shroomy!) But it makes it even nicer that you really liked it. Thank you so for the fabulous rating!
Response: Aw, thanks for reading --- sorry they are not from a more "exotic" locale... still a few on the way. Thank you for the great rating!
Response: Wasn't this just the coolest swap? It's kind of tough to get out of the mindset - like, you'll see a landmark and think "oh, I should pose the minion with that!" Thank you for the rating & heart.
Response: Thanks A-Chick! I'll be cruisin' GrugleEarth to see all his friends. Bake that bun! (and thank you ever so for the heart)
Response: So glad you got them within a week! I hope you don't tell your dentist what I sent you, NONE of it is good for you, but sooo tasty. I hope there's one in there that you enjoy!
Response: Thank you for the heart, Sondra. I was glad to have a diary friend that was easy-going on the postcards... some folks are rather selective. Writing to a Kentucky gal was like writing home. Thanks for reading!
Response: Oh, thank YOU for the heart. I expect your plans for the summer are less nerdy than mine - hope you had a happy solstice!
Response: I warned you about my getting all chatterbox on that thing. Sheesh! shut me up! I'm so pleased you like it, and it was fun to do... I saw another garden journal swap up that I'm considering joining. Happy Gardening! I sure miss zone 7 and the red clay soil that makes tomatoes taste gooood! Thank you SO much for the heart.
Response: Aw, thanks. I wish I could have had a stash of postcards that would've knocked your socks off, but the local artsy-fart shop stopped carrying them - I was so very bummed to discover that. Thank you so much for the heart.
Response: Hey - I'm so glad you liked them... it really became a fun contest but I think mine was the least inspired - the others were much better! I wish the writing on the postcard was a little bigger, I needed reading glasses!
Response: Hey, thanks for the heart! They closed the Godiva shop in our local mall so I got that at the student bookstore on campus - gotta keep the students happy! I did spare you the "Twilight" decorated bar, though.
Response: Oh, I TOTALLY understand about the "geek within," and I laugh everytime anyone meets my husband (who is an art professor) because they expect him to wear a striped mime shirt and beret - or be goth. Plus, nobody that I work with knows I have a vintage Star Trek uniform. We can pretend to be normal moms on the outside, but...
Thanks so much for the heart!
Response: Thanks Jessica! Doing those spiderwebs was kind of... hypnotic. I enjoyed tailoring it to your profile and I'm so pleased you liked it. Mucho thanks for the heart!
Response: Glad it served as a good read, after I sealed it up I was like, "aw, I forgot to tell her how much I dig carnivorous plants!" Silly. I also clicked your link to Postcrossing and signed up - I've already sent out my first 6 postcards, though not received any yet. Thank you very much for the heart!
Response: Oh goody, I was hoping you'd like the sweet things! I was excited that I could find all 3 of your favorites - everytime I see the Airheads, I think of you! Thank you for the hearts!
Response: Silly girl, I bet your postcards were fun to read! Yep, I carved those stamps and it's actually really easy to do, just need an exacto and a flat eraser - a lot like making a potato stamp, but permanent. I'm so pleased you liked my letters, thanks very much for the heart!
Response: That envelope got me onto a paisley habit that I can't seem to kick... thanks so much for the heart! The clippings were the next best thing to REAL vintage ephemera.
Response: Thanks very much for the heart! I had forgotten how much fun making those things were, took me back to middle school. Sorry for the homemade envelope... couldn't find one big enough in the house.
Response: Wow - that was pretty speedy for the ol' US Postal service! I had to stop the silly postal lady from slapping a bar code over my assortment of stamps. I'm so glad you liked the glitters, I tried to pick the funky ones and I loved paisley-fying your envelope. (i may now be addicted)
Response: Yay! I'm hoping the temperatures were cool enough that the chocolate didn't become one with the yarn! Happy knitting, I'll be thinking of PEI come spring.

Response: I love that you like it... I wanted to make you something unique for the stuffie and the sammich was so much fun to "build." I'm just so relieved it all made its way to you, finally. And thank YOU, I read from my Amazon books every day!
Response: Anne, thanks so much for the heart! I did worry a little, that things would "detach" during shipping so I hope all was well inside. I'm so pleased you like it, that was one of my all-time favorite swaps to participate in.
Response: Yippee! I'm so pleased she meets with your approval. I always get a little nervous when I send to THE SWAP COORDINATOR. I really enjoyed making her, you should consider another string doll swap. My favorite part was looking at your profile "likes" and deciding whether to make Alice or Peter Pan, though I forgot to sew her a pocket on her apron. oops. Thank you so much for hearting!
Response: I am so glad you liked your treasure chest. It's funny, my husband was getting attached to it. I thought it was a very inspired idea for a swap - one of my favorites and a good challenge! Thank you very much for the heart.
Response: Thank you SO MUCH for rating! I hope things are better for you on your end. The valentine was the first thing I made for Swapbot and I just had a ball with it. I was inspired by some other folks' lacey valentine-y things. I'm so pleased you liked it.
Response: Oh goody! I'm glad you liked her, she evolved from what I originally meant to do... I'll message you all the details. I'm so pleased she was up your alley and that you liked the bookmark, too. Thanks for the heart!
Response: You're very welcome, Margeaux! I was a little intimidated by your mad sewing skillz, but since I like the little pudd'n I hoped you would, too. The chocolate was your consolation prize if the adoption didn't work out. Kitty doesn't have a name so it's up to you, and yeh, those shrinky dinks were fun - silly me, I had to do 'em twice so they'd be shiny side up. Thank YOU for the heart!
Response: Yay it made it! I hoped the photography bunnies would give you a chuckle. I'm very glad you liked it. Thank so much for the heart!
Response: yaaay! It finally made it - can't say the same for my hair, though, still struggling on that front. So pleased you like 'em, I fell a little bit in love with the rainbow bracelet. Thanks for the heart!

Response: Thank you for rating & giving a heart. Glad to hear your old featherweight is still kicking - my mum comes and services mine when she visits and I just bought it a buttonhole attachment. Fun stuff!

Response: I wanted to find you a neat pic of a mermaid and that one just blew me away - such pretty colors, I hated to cover her with the stamp and address! I'm pleased you like the recipes, the wings ARE really good. Thank you for the heart!
Response: Thank YOU for the heart, Jenny. I'm glad you like the recipes, they are all tasty, I can vouch for 'em. The pattern is so pretty that I purchased it on a whim, but I still don't know HOW to crochet - I want to take a class just so I can make Babette!
Response: Carol, I had a hard time deciding between sending you the yarn or those uber cool harmony wood needles. I'm glad the yarn was a hit. Thanks for being kind to the dotee, she's an only child right now but I'd like to try my hand at another soon. Thank you so much for the heart!
Response: Yaayyy, it made it. Whew. I enjoyed making it so darn much, I'm tempted to now cover everything in Kawaii. Thanks for the heart!
