I was so thankful we did not get ice (at least not yet) but the 11 inches of snow was not expected! LOL! It is winter, but... From the weather forecasts, I'm guessing you got some of what we are getting as I write this... 15F and well over a foot of snow that is still coming down. At least I see some snowshoeing in my near future.

That Bee-eater is one of the best bird portraits I've seen; the city reflected in the sunglasses collage is clever; I'm a big fan of mushrooms & the Marie Curie quote is good advice. We don't have a lot of insects, which probably explains why we don't have many song birds. We do have a lot of sea birds and raptors.

Funny story, I have a handout I give to the kids that asks the same question, How many gifts for the 12 Days of Christmas. They have to figure out the math for the answer and it's extra credit. Comment: Thank you for the Christmas tree postcard with riddle & fun fact. Itβs hard to believe there were electric tree lights in the 1880s! My father (b. 1923) could remember a Christmas tree with real candles on it. A man stood next to it ensuring the tree didnβt catch fire while the candles were lit. Of course, back then, I think they brought the tree inside much closer to Christmas Day.

My wife and I moved here from Maine two years ago. /the one thing miss, aside from people, is all the wildlife that used to pass through our yards. There are no bear or moose on the Cape and few deer. We are in a rural setting but, in our entire time here, I have seen a raccoon, a possum, two skunk, a fox, and about 80 coyote.

In American clothes, I'm not a fan of bright colours all the time, but with kimono? sometimes totally opposite style. I love all the autumn + Halloween stickers, and those cardstock-like ones, too.
