The roman expression "Veni, vidi, vici" (we came, you [???... I think I've missed something =/] saw, we conquered) uses to have a negative connotation in Spanish (too fascist) so it's nice o see how it changes in different places of this world =D (this sentence is really great, anyway and I'm not sure if I've understood right in English).
I really love the art in the Brookland CUA Station! ^_^

Response: Well who knows what the artist meant? perhaps he is an aspiring fascist. Young north americans are like that sometimes, unfortunately. The usual english translation is "I came. I saw. I conquered." The artist changed it to "we came. They saw. We conquered." So like I said in the email, it sounds aggressive. I LOVED your pics. I must do your rating asap.

Response: I'm so glad you like it! I used what they call the "wrapped knot"-- but I would like to find an adjustable knot that is more adaptable to different amounts of fiber.

I've gotten a lot of criticism over the years for making mixes of songs that don't sound good side by side. I always have that in mind when I make a mix. For this I was sort of looking for songs that feel relevant politically and emotionally to the moment even though some of the songs themselves are way old. Yeah, we should swap again! That would be cool.

Pet wise, I have a dog, two cats, four ferrets, two rats, and a turtle. Our garden is 16.5' x 19.2' (it keeps growing) and we just started growing seedlings a few weeks ago, so our second bedroom is crammed full of budding tomato and pepper plans. So yum, though! Response: It was hard for me to come up with natural-seeming misspellings. My misspellings were a bit outlandish. I've had friends who spelled badly in ways that I found amusing, I wish I could have remembered more of their misspellings to steal for this! (although "stuped" jumps readily to mind. I loved that one.)

Way to be fantastic! I avoided the cherry blossom festival just because of all the people but I drive by the tidal pool every day for work so it's still a pretty sight!

Response: hee. I think you will like it. It's just the whole foods brand, but I felt it was better to go with something I know is good than try an exotic "flavored" brand that is probably way too sweet. That happened before with costplus brand.
