Response: Also, there is a butt on the mailer. That's what the dog is biting at. I'm not pointing that out to get attention, just sayin' so cause it's kinda hard to notice on there. Lol. Thanks for the super-fast rating and for hosting!

Response: Well who knows what the artist meant? perhaps he is an aspiring fascist. Young north americans are like that sometimes, unfortunately. The usual english translation is "I came. I saw. I conquered." The artist changed it to "we came. They saw. We conquered." So like I said in the email, it sounds aggressive. I LOVED your pics. I must do your rating asap.
Response: Loved doing this swap. Hope to get more of the clues for round #2!
Response: ooh yeah. I loved Spike in both Buffy and Angel. I have a strong preference for Angel over BTVS. Just because it felt more grown up I guess so I got more attached to the characters. Willow from BTVS is a favorite character of mine though... Oh and Fred was in a love triangle with Gunn and Wesley! The connor story arc was pretty awesome...
Response: you can thank my mother for those beauties! Glad you liked the package!

Response: I'm glad you liked it! I loved Anansi Boys. Enjoy!
Response: omigosh, it was DUMB. Maybe if someone smarter did it, it would be awesome.
Glad you liked my dirty little secret though!
Response: I'm so glad you like it! I used what they call the "wrapped knot"-- but I would like to find an adjustable knot that is more adaptable to different amounts of fiber.
Response: yay glad you liked it!
Response: I'm so happy you like it!
Response: If you want, we can swap for some! Or you can make some with some gorgeous Australian wool...
Response: Hey, dear, I've missed you on this site. Hope you're doing well. I used the film The Gleaners and I for a lot of my inspiration... if you haven't seen it yet, you will love it!
Response: Hmmm, yeah, maybe would do it again!
Response: I loved your mix title. It made me sad I don't have a porch. Sharing a drink on the porch is the best. I'm digging the Blitzen Trapper song you put on and a bunch of others. I've gotten a lot of criticism over the years for making mixes of songs that don't sound good side by side. I always have that in mind when I make a mix. For this I was sort of looking for songs that feel relevant politically and emotionally to the moment even though some of the songs themselves are way old. Yeah, we should swap again! That would be cool.
Response: Aw, that is wonderful to hear. So glad you liked it.
Response: Yeh, that one was a bit personal and confessional for me. I'm really glad you can relate to it.

Response: Yes, because I'll be minding the mushrooms, there should be some hours available!
Response: Hurray! Good to hear it! While making it, I kept wondering how to get a stock photo of David's tight marble tushie, since they, for some reason, left that out of the calendar I was cutting up for your journal.
Response: oh...yes...the kitten was in the stars! It must be very skinny since it looked like a ferret to me! Glad you liked the predictions!
Response: Hey... now I feel warm and fuzzy! I'm really glad you liked my envie. I got the bat in the Etsy shop Charms4Design but they seem to be on vacation now. My favorite part of your profile was the part about "no horrible words like love or memories." I do know what you mean and it made me smile.
Response: It's won some awards and it's very recently published, so it's easy to find in this country. Maybe in yours, too. When I was a teen, Australian YA lit rocked my world!... especially books by John Marsden.
Response: Unfortunately, it's not strictly true. But it's a nice idea.

Response: Yeah, I should have known with the reference to halloween pasta. Are you going to try their thanksgiving themed pasta? I'm glad you liked the package. Not everything was from World Market/ Cost Plus.
Response: I think we rated one another at the same time! I recommend the cookbook they are from too. It's vegetarian, not vegan, but very full of good recipes!

Response: Cool! I would treasure a beer glass like that too. It's nice to find common ground!
Response: I am so glad that you and your daughter enjoyed the package! I had fun putting it together. I haven't tried the dots myself but I thought it was cool they were blood orange flavored--that's something you don't see every day.
Response: Thanks for a swap idea that pushed me to think positively! On my own I'd be more likely to come up with "abysmal moments in human rights history." LOL. I had to put on my thinking cap for this one.

Response: I was really pleased to see you liked it!
Response: Your most welcome!
Response: It was hard for me to come up with natural-seeming misspellings. My misspellings were a bit outlandish. I've had friends who spelled badly in ways that I found amusing, I wish I could have remembered more of their misspellings to steal for this! (although "stuped" jumps readily to mind. I loved that one.)
Response: Whoa... I sent it yesterday. Are you sure it wasn't another envelope swap?
Great mail service, I guess. I'm really glad you liked it!
Response: It was fun to do! Cool swap idea, I hope it gets rehosted. Thanks for rating!

Response: Yeah! I know.It took me 8 years to use up ten of them. We'll see how long it takes you, lol.
Response: Glad you liked them!! I'm a sock fanatic. The orange and pink socks are from sockdreams.com. I ordered orange and blue for myself. That website will make you drool.
Response: I am doing well! I've learned a lot from these crossword swaps...met nice people and deepened my whedon understanding. hee.
Response: I'm SO glad you liked it! Knotting is my fave jewelry making technique.

Response: So glad you liked the package! I had fun picking it all out.
Response: Yeah, I like it too. I made a second one for myself!
Response: hee. I think you will like it. It's just the whole foods brand, but I felt it was better to go with something I know is good than try an exotic "flavored" brand that is probably way too sweet. That happened before with costplus brand.
