Comment: Yay! I got the ladies in the windows! I love this one - so ghostly. Hope you are well and dry. I must admit, that Florida in a hurricane sounds like a nightmare to me. Especially a hurricane that won't leave.
Response: I was hoping that you'd like that particular card! The downside of Florida is the hurricane season. I was lucky that only the backyard flooded and it didn't get into the house. But of course, all the bad weather happened on my days off :<

Comment: I get so excited when your postcards arrive, I forget to check the back. I love the fire and time postcard. Due to the forest fires and our present heat wave, I think I will put off making a fire for a few months, too.
Response: We've been having fires here too, sometimes the smell is overwhelming. Our "heat wave" lasts all summer long in Florida - thankfully I live within walking distance to the beach and can hop in to cool off!

I actually visited Haight Ashbury a few years ago, ate wonderful food, talked to some wonderful people camped out in front of the old Grateful Dead hangout house, and then visited some silly shops. But, alas, with the Starbucks and Gap and other places that have moved in, the historical "feel" of the area has been a bit of a downer for me.

Comment: The coolest image ever! Where did you get it? It's a person balancing two clocks on either hand.
Response: The image is a black and white studio portrait of dancer Ted Shawn from the early 1900's. I enhanced the photo, added the gold accents and clocks, then placed that on a paisley background with contrasting frame. The photo came from the NYPL digital collection. I'm glad that you enjoyed my card!
