As for New Year rituals, well, I was born on Jan 1 (me and all the thoroughbreds become a year older on that day!), so I have all kinds of rituals!This year was one of those big milestones. If I was a thoroughbred I'd be put out to pasture!

Response: I'm glad that the package reached you safe & sound and you liked all the shtuff. I don't think I sent any leather bits tho, maybe the half sheet of magnetic paper? It's sticky on one side, you can stick images to it and cut it out and presto! you have handmade fridge magnets!

I am of course counting the two lovely paintings which to me are breathtaking, and the very beautiful postcard! Also the pretty stamped card you wrote your note on, with the beautiful feather. I suppose it is five! The package was decorated beautifully, too. I love the western and Southwest scenes and I especially love the ceramics by the Southwestern peoples. You are right, I also have a great love for Nature, also sustainable living. It could not have been a better match! I will enjoy these paintings very much every time I walk into my sewing room/leather shop/office. Thanks so much for such a thoughtful gift. Rachel M.
