Comment: Hi Penney:-). The envelope and notecard set that you sent the tags in is beautiful. I love the tags you made! They are perfect. I like anything that is "outside" of the box. You are highly creative.
I would like to thank you for the extra ephemra; the water color berries, the beautiful silk leaf, and the trims and the ribbon are gorgeous! A beautiful silky green, the 8" x 2" ivory trim is stunning! And the 1/4w" x 18L" cream trim with the siver in the center of the circles is very pretty. Thank you for spoiling me😊.
Thank you for the kind words in your card regarding my difficult summer. I am getting to a better place everyday and these swaps help keep me going:-). Thank you. Have a hreat day!
Comment: Hi Manifest. Received your beautiful envelope filled with some exciting extras. You are very talented with your drawing. The three faces you drew are extremely well done. The back of your ATC was inscribed, "Dream in the Garden". Hope we are partners again.
Comment: Sorry Penney for the late rating! We just got back from our vacation and Erin loves her goodies! The Mermicorno and jewelry especially was a huge hit, and Erin really likes Fallon’s drawing style. Thank you! :D
Comment: loved all of the papers you sent! especially the "unique" items. have never seen washi tape that narrow! thanks! I couldn't find anything that referenced which swap it was to. had to search my sends. it would be helpful if you wrote it on the envelope or a piece of paper inside. thanks for all of the beautiful and unique papers! I will definitely use them!
Comment: Love love LOVE your ATC! The exhibit (in Detroit) is crazy cool!!! I’ve seen it like 20+ times! (Makes sense since I live so close lol) I’m just glad you’ve seen it! They’ve been talking about changing it (but hopefully that never happens!)
Comment: Ha! Oh my gosh! Those are two fabulous ATCs! I love that kind of chicken and I love your ATCs. Thank you for sending them to me. I enjoyed the cute little figures on the back of your envelope too. I also couldn't make just one and sent two to my partner. Thanks again for sharing with me!
Comment: This ATC is absolutely beautiful. You did an amazing job and definitely captured the spirit of Leonor’s painting. Thank you for including the information. Her art is odd and confrontational so naturally i love it. LOL!
Comment: Thank you for the lovely ATC! I really like the happy Buddha...I also like how you altered the card! Thanks as well for the fabric scraps, they went directly into the little stash I keep for mixed media fodder! Is it time yet to say Happy Spring?! No maybe not, not here anyway...
Comment: Hi Penney! Thank you for the lovely quail card! I love it. It's even more special since it traveled all the way from Ghana! I'm not good with going to the gym, but we did buy a treadmill for Christmas (not romantic or exciting...LOL!) and my New Year's resolution is to use it 6 days a week. Good luck with yours, I know I'll need it! Patricia
Comment: excellent work of art...great subject and artist...chosen...I can see how he inspired you after I checked out some of his work...great choice of media and color...I am very proud to own this amazing miniature...the card you created was also very wonderful..love that teal! thank you so very much ...you are obviously quite an artist...
Comment: Thank you for a lovely ATC! I really liked the way you'd packaged everything too, the card and the envelope were both beautiful - it's always a delight to receive such nice-looking mail. Also many thanks for the tea extras!
Comment: Hey Penney! Thank you so much for the amazing ATC you've sent me! =)
I really like the texture and the bright of this paintings and the atc in general really makes me dream about Africa.
Thank you so much for the recipe you added too! I was living for a while with a couple from Rwanda and they taught me some traditional recipes... I really miss learning more about Africa... (dream, dream, dream)
Comment: how cool. i'm not sure if the eyes are fruit or the friut is olives. yummy. i realy like the contrast between the soft colors and the strong outline. thank you also for the card. i love musicans. i had some trouble with this one. my sence of proportion requires a ruler and calculator and even then it never works out. if i was a carpenter... i'd be broke and homeless with a tree house thats off about 30%.
Comment: Great job of drawing and coloring in-very creative. I am just starting to use watercolor crayons on my stamped images-thanks for sharing and swapping! And of my gosh-the garden fairy you made is very beautiful-you are talented indeed-love the card of it!
Comment: I love your pencil drawing of Zeus. I would have never related him with Bill Clinton myself, but thought that was pretty awesome that you did! Thank you for the extra papers as well. I always need them. :)
Comment: Thank you so much for your beautiful ATC! I want to make ATCs like this but for some reason when I sit down to do one, I just can't do it. I'm awed and humbled by such talent. I haven't heard of "Garden Path with Chickens" but I'm relatively new to BPAL (2007). I love the scent - I'm going to have to keep this card out of my binder so I can sniff it whenever. :) Don't you just love the names of these perfumes? That's half the appeal. I like your description of Hetaria - sounds like something I'd love. Thank you for the imp too, LOL. It never occurred to me to do something like that and I can't believe it got thru just fine in a regular envelope! The fairy card ... gorgeous creatures. I covet one of them so much. Someday I'm determined to get one like this. I loved this swap. Everyone who didn't join really missed out. BPAL can be so inspirational.
Comment: OMG - Thank you, thank you, thank you so much! What a masterpiece! I love the ATC you painted for me - I framed it! It is hanging on my wall; you sure are one very very talented lady! Thank you so much for the nifty extras too.
Response: Thanks for the compliments! I am glad you liked her!
Comment: I absolutely love my Venus doll! She is so beautiful. I can tell that you put so much love, time and effort into her. She will be out every season with her coordinating outfit! I love her coloring... she is gorgeous! I wish I could give you 10 hearts! :) Blessed Be. Jenne
Comment: Your mermaid dotee was simply adorable!! One of the neatest I've ever received! Thank You!! And your precious little boy...a first grader and a piano student!! How wonderful....My favorite grade and extra cultural activity...Oh, back to the swap...I love all of my goodies also...Thank you again...Smiles, Beth
Comment: Loved the parcel! Only item I've tried is the tootsie pop (And I'm a fan of those).
Anytime you'd like to do a private swap for some Australian candy let me know, I'd be only too happy. <3 Nyssa
Comment: oooh..."Briney" is soooo pretty! I esp. love how you used the tissue paper on her and the pretty purple & blue glittery paint! Thanks too for the little illustrations from that book she is based on-so lovely! :)
Comment: Not 1 but 2 lovely bars and a card! Thank you so much for this package which arrived this morning. Now the challenge is to save a little bit for my family when they come in, but that's still 4 hours away!!!!!
PS Congratulations on your good news! You NEED chocolate!!!
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful ATC and your note. Standard poodles are great... though more active than many other breeds. We got our Jodie at age 6 months. She loves our grandkids and tries to "kiss" the little ones a lot.
Response: Thanks for the heads up on the poodles. The only poodles we have met have been well trained.
Comment: Hello Penny, Rowan and Caelan:
Thank you very much for the lovely ATCs and stickers you sent Renata - they will be the very first she's ever received and the beginning of what we hope will be a very nice collection :)
Comment: Penney, The Crackle bar was fabulous! I've loved honeycomb since I was a kid. And that was the extra treat. Thank you. Now, the Charles Chocolate Bar is just sitting and whispering to me. I'm sure it will be fabulous!
Comment: Thanks for the card and surprise. Note - beware of labels ... I can see the one on the front side of the seahorse you decorated for me. Also, it is with sadness that I have to report that the seahorse did not survive the transit very well as it is broken in three plus a bit has flaked off ... but I hope to be able to glue it back together again. Thank you for looking at my profile though
Comment: Thank you, Penney, for the lovely postcard. I am not familiar with Paul Jacoulet but love Japanese prints. I actually looked at the card a couple of times before I realized that the person in the print is holding a rabbit!!! I love it! :O)
