Comment: Hi. I live in the state of Georgia. Our governor wants to reopen the state Friday. Personally I think it is too soon. Esp since it’s only. Partial like gyms hair salons and nail places and massage places. How r those spose to follow a six ft distance? Anyway take care!
Comment: Melissa thank you for the k card. Thanks Melissa and sorry for driving ya crazy. All the best -min
Comment: Thank you for the Haribo Gold Bears card. Since my husband died 8 years ago I have not did much for Valentines Day. My daughter gave me 2 red roses. She has given me at least one each year as she used to help her Dad get one for me the last few years of his life.
Comment: Thank u
2/7/2020 received #2 and ty! Apparently the 1st was lost in shuffle with our postmaster bc it was so tiny. Lol. Can’t help but wonder if that is what happens with all lost mail? Thank u Melissa! See u in a swap soon ( and I do hope u sign up for H cause I always look forward to ur chunks)❤️😍😊😁
Response: Lol!! I dropped another C in a mailbox on my way to work this morning. Oh well. I’m glad it arrived!
The postal workers said it was within the required size. I probably won't do them that small again since it took so long to arrive. Oh well - you live and you learn.
Comment: YOUR B WAS SPOT ON. I LOVE IT!!!! Thank you for your creativity and for thinking outside box. I went to dollar store today and saw zingers and giggled cause I was like well there is my z when we get there. Probably gonna host one more time too
Response: I am so glad that it finally arrived!! I was worried. When I saw the lid of the package I just knew I HAD to use it!
Comment: I love the llama sticker!!! He’s so cute. and the snowman’s scarf looks like an A. I personally love old fashioned popcorn 🍿 popped on the stove with oil and a little butter. Thanks for the chunk and I love the stamp too.
Comment: Ok you make me laugh frozen PB and J sandwiches. Now I have to try them. I like the reduced sugar option. When those came out years ago. I thought how lazy can you be???, I mean to buy frozen the cheapest and lamest sandwich known to show up in a kids lunch. But I am sure they are very tasty because they have been around for a long time.
BTW I do love the card.
Response: I know!!! Why would a company come up with frozen PB&J?? But they did and they convinced people to keep buying them. It's my guilty pleasure for a road trip. This is the first time I've bought them and had them at home.
Comment: Oooo, I love maps in craft projects! It is amusing that you used a postcard stamp. I used first class. I sent about 8 cards (this was so fun I made extras). All but one got thru. The last one was delivered along with with a 15-cent postage due notice! It's curious how inconsistent the USPS is when figuring out rates for mail.
Response: When I asked they said it was more if it was bigger than a certain size.
Comment: Thanks for the chunk, the note, and the memory provoking thoughts. I feel the same way about fruit cocktail but don't have it often. I have never found it with no-added-sugar so I avoid it. :-(
Response: Look for that brand and you can have some again! I'm glad the chunk made it to you. I've never mailed a postcard that thick so just sent it with a regular stamp. Have a great week!
Comment: Thanks for the adorable PC, Melissa! I nearly "lost" this one to my husband since he loves Golden Retrievers and the bald Eagle postage stamp you used to mail it caught his eye! LOL! It made my heart happy to see him interested in my "silly" hobby since he usually doesn't get why I like collecting more "paper and junk"...I have yet to convince him that it's more about the connections I make with others of like mindedness, than collecting junk mail! One fine day....:-)
Comment: Thank you for the wonderful swap. Thats a pretty hell note! Thats a interesting 5$ pink board game note too. I'll have to go look that up as I've never seen one before. Whats that little "wire" guy that was wapped up?
Response: For all who might be wondering - the wire piece is an old ceramic diode. I ordered a bag of them from a mixed media / found art supply place several years ago.
Comment: I have read a few of his books and also seen a few movies based on his books, I do not think i have read this one. We are about to start a long weekend here, so plenty of time to relax, read and craft. Hope you have a nice weekend.
