Response: Oh good, I'm glad you got them! I'm glad you like the mail-a-lobster card too.
Best wishes to you and your loved-ones during this time. <3
Response: I love the postcards too! I think my old cats (who are now currently my parent's cats) need to do far more than just yoga.. they're getting super lazy!
Response: You're welcome :)
Response: I'm glad they both arrived, even though one took an incredibly LOOOOONG journey.. I wonder where it spent its time while it was making it's way across the border, haha.
I know I didn't have to send the envelope, but I felt terrible when it hadn't arrived and everyone else's had, it really sucks when a swap you're supposed to receive doesn't show up, and I wanted to make up for it, so I looked through your profile and picked things I hoped you'd enjoy :).
I am glad both showed up after all though, and glad you enjoyed the envelope of goodies :)
Response: You're welcome :)
Response: I do know of the Barriefield Rock Garden! I lived at CFB for many years and spent a lot of time there with friends who lived in that area, as many had come over to Lundy's Lane to do grades 7 and 8 (the school on the base) from J.E. Horton because it only went up to grade 6.. so that was a very familiar area since it was literally right in between both of those places. :)
Response: I'd love to rush them, but this winter has been so weird and unpredictable and when it's been "wintry", it's been really bad.. so we will definitely have to wait until at least spring.. but here's hoping that time goes by quickly and the snow leaves sooner rather than later :)
Response: You're welcome! I'm always thrilled when I look through someone's profile and find that I actually already have stuff they might like!
Response: You are so welcome! I hope your 202 is filled with the same :)
Response: You're welcome, happy 2020! :)
Response: No problem! Mail is a little unpredictable this time of year and it's disappointing when you don't receive something you've been expecting. I'm glad it arrived :)
Response: You're welcome :)
Response: You're welcome :)
Response: You're welcome, I hope your holidays went well :)
Response: That's great, I'm glad you're pleased :).
Response: It's amusing how unpredictable the mail is around this time of year, I'm not at all surprised about the arrival times. Happy holidays to you!
Response: Happy holidays to you too! :)
Response: I'm glad you liked it! <3
Response: I'm glad my choices made you happy! Now that the first blind swap has been a success, I'll probably do more in the new year :)
Response: That has to be one of the best cards I've come across, the cats are so dopey looking, I love it. I'm glad you like it :)
Response: I'm glad you liked it <3
Response: I'm glad you like it, and I'm glad the second one made its way to you :)
Response: You're welcome :)
Response: You're welcome :)
Response: Happy holidays to you too! Hopefully the other groups are of interest to you.. it means my mailbox is usually pretty filled with postcards almost every day, I love it :)
Response: It’s definitely not a common name, even here.. but the bigger the city is, the more of it you see, like Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto... people butcher it like crazy though and pronounce it so many different ways. It’s German for Friday, so I tell people to try to remember that and that will help them remember how it’s pronounced haha.. doesn’t always work though :P
Response: You’re welcome :)
Response: Happy Holidays to you too!
Response: I bought them on Amazon, they came in a pack of 50 :).
And thank you, it’s actually a play on my last name, as it’s Friday in another language.
Response: You’re welcome :)
Response: You're welcome :)
Response: You're welcome! And no problem, I have an abundance of envelopes and it doesn't cost me any more in postage to send them that way :)
Response: Thank you, I'm glad you liked it. Happy holidays to you :)
Response: Oh good! I’m so glad it finally arrived and I hope you love the teas and the postcards. I hope it was worth the long trip and the long wait. Thanks for being so patient ❤️
Response: You're welcome :)
Response: You’re welcome! I love that series of postcards, they’re so cheeky :)
Response: You’re welcome! Nice to run into you again in the swap world :).
Response: You're welcome :)
Response: I have no idea what the other things are.. but they could be things made with bacon, I suppose, haha.
My whole 12 hour shift is spent on my feet usually, or with very little down time when I'm sitting, unless it's a night shift, which is usually quiet.. but we do get the odd crazy night.
Response: I’ve noticed the mail being excruciatingly slow to travel too, it seems like it’s happening in other areas too (as per the forum). Hopefully the sluggishness doesn’t continue for long!
I’m glad it arrived to you, and at hopefully relatively safe ❤️
Response: You're welcome :)
Response: I didn't know that shaped ones were a thing until I saw some while shopping online only a few months ago, I love them.
The Ontario address labels were made for me by someone on Etsy who makes US state ones, but I took the chance and asked her if she could do Canadian provinces.. turns out she does and they're well done :)
Response: I love the cold, rainy days.. they're the best to take naps through (assuming I'm not working) with some tea, a book, a cat, jammies and lots of warm blankets.. Those days are the best :)
Response: I can understand losing interest in it. I guess I started it when the Little Free Libraries were being talked about a lot in my hometown, so I figured getting them into other people’s hands was probably going to be easier if I put them in places that were popular and almost guaranteed to be looked at. I’ve had success with a few, so I’m hopeful :)
Response: You're welcome :)
Response: I love little free libraries, and what a great way to spread around the bookcrossing books. I'm all over Kingston, Rideau Lakes, Gananoque, Smiths Falls, Perth, Leeds.. all kinds of places to drop the books off :)
Response: You're welcome :)
Response: I'm glad you like it, thank you :)
Response: It's the humidity more than it is the almost 40 degree (celcius) weather. Dry heat, I seem to have no problem with, but mixed with humidity.. completely different world.. it's like a hot, thick, heavy, wet blanket. Yuck. haha
Response: Vous êtes les bienvenus! Espérons que nous nous croisons à nouveau dans le monde des swap-bot. :)
Response: You're welcome! I'm glad you liked everything :)
Response: You're welcome :)
Response: No problem! I tried to ensure it was well protected too :)
Response: You're welcome :)
Response: The book is a little different, as the TV series is meant to be set in a time and place we're familiar with, but it's not far off and very good! There is apparently a second book coming out too that I've been hearing whispering about. Her books are great!
Response: You're welcome :)
Response: You're welcome!
Response: I still haven't seen it! I just haven't been able to make the time... for months. I'll have to force someone to sit down with me on one of my next days off to watch it. Haha
Response: It's a relatively new thing to the city, it wasn't there at all while I was growing up, but they're popping up in other larger cities, so Kingston probably felt it was the thing to do haha.
Response: You're welcome :)
Response: You're welcome :)
Response: The set has 100 postcards.. and just of the women in the series! All are animated/drawn and many of the characters are in the movies, but some characters are in the books. I have to admit I haven't read many of the books though.
Response: I still haven't had a full tour of the prison itself. I would love to see the old women's prison down the road be turned into something interesting like that now that Queen's University had sold it. Only time will tell. :)
Response: You're welcome! It has been hot here too, but fall is coming soon, thankfully. I'm always so glad to see the leaves start changing colours - relief!
Response: I'm glad you like everything :D.
I have Hypothyroidism, so it's the complete opposite of your son's condition. Both are terrible.. my thyroid went back and forth between hyper and hypo for years and settled on this, so it's been a learning experience, that's for sure.
Hope to see you in future swaps :)
Response: You're welcome, I'm glad you like it. I hope your weekend was good too :)
Response: You're welcome! I'm glad you liked it.
Response: You're welcome :)
Response: You're welcome! I love that there is a whole box set just of the women of the Star Wars franchise and I wanted to share them so badly!
Response: You're welcome :)
Response: I was the coordinator of this swap which means I had created it and what I sent out to my partners was exactly as I had described and intended while I wrote out the directions for the swap. I followed my own swap directions as I came up with the idea to use a card of any kind for a purpose other than what it was originally intended for and the way the note was supposed to be - a single note, nothing more than that required - about anything the writer felt like writing. I’m sorry if you had misunderstood my swap directions, but I would be the best person to understand, interpret and follow directions and intentions that I had thought of and written myself. Kind Regards.
Response: You’re welcome :)
Response: I’m glad you were happy with it and thank you for complementing my writing. I wonder if it’s one of those things where your own writing looks worse to you than it does to other people.. kind of similar to how people don’t like their own voices to hear them and other people do. haha
Response: Thank you! The strap on the wallet won’t stay fastened, so it looks like there’s this really long piece of.. something attached to it and it’s always opening the change pocket on the back and losing everything in it haha. Looks nicer than it behaves, that’s for sure.
Response: You're welcome :)
Response: Thank you! The cat head Lipsmacker is labelled as "Water-Meow-Lon" and I love the bag too, my boyfriend gave it to me because I seem to reminisce when I hear jets, helicopters and planes thanks to being an Air Force brat as a kid :)
Response: You're welcome :)
Response: No problem! It's hard to think of extras to include when you're required to send a naked postcard through the mail.. so another postcard it is - which I'm sure postcard collectors will love :)
Response: I have a bad habit of losing lip balm, finding it later (in the same bag I "lost" it from) and getting any that come in cute containers, it's horrible haha.
Response: Thank you! I'm always afraid that my email will end up in a junk folder and someone will think I didn't send it. Good to know it made it safely to you.
Response: I try to let people know when I've sent things if my day isn't busy and if I'm not using my phone to update... It would be so much easier to have the option to send a generic "I send my stuff" message to people while clicking the "I sent my stuff" link. Maybe someday!
Response: Thank you! I am very lucky. I'm hoping to move to Toronto some day which is another three hours away from me and much larger than the city I'm in, but I'll still be very close to the NY border, just closer to Buffalo rather than Alexandria Bay and Watertown :)
Response: You're welcome! It's hard to send extras with a naked postcard, but postcard collectors always seem to appreciate an extra one coming their way.
And yes, for the most part, he isn't rejecting me as much haha.
Response: No problem! I love doing questionnaires and writing :)
Response: You're welcome! I'm a total softy, but you wouldn't know that considering I'm in a security uniform most of the time and have a poker face (for good reason). Haha.
Response: You're welcome. Now that I'm back and more active on here, hopefully we can do another soon. Take care!
Response: You're welcome! I'm glad you liked everything.
Response: You're welcome! I'm glad the card suited your tastes :)
Response: Late is better than never and you're welcome :)
Response: Thank you, I’m glad you liked them :)
Response: You’re welcome :)
Response: You’re welcome :)
Response: You’re welcome and Merry Christmas to you too.
Response: I’m glad they made you happy :)
Response: Oh no! Haha. Hopefully you can stash enough away for yourself :)
Response: You’re welcome :)
Response: I'm glad you liked everything! Believe it or not, I have WAY more loose teas than that! <3
Response: You’re welcome :)
Response: Hopefully you like them :)
Response: Don’t you just love Canadian humidity? Other countries don’t seem to know it exists here, but oh man does it ever!
Response: You’re welcome :)
Response: You’re welcome :)
Response: No problem! I've been seeing you a lot lately ;)
Response: Great! I'm glad you like them :)
Response: Hopefully they’re all good ones :)
Response: I’m so glad you like them, it’s always a bit scary to try out something you’re unfamiliar with.
Response: You’re welcome :)
Response: Thanks!! Good to know I was of some help, and I hope you like the teas! Hope to see you in another swap soon :) <3
Response: Awesome! Exams are horrible, but I'm glad to know the Cheetos are helping ;) <3
Response: No problem! I try to buy all kinds of teas, even ones I don't think I'll like since I do so many tea swaps on here :)
Response: Great! I hope you like them :)
Response: Not a problem! I have a hard time keeping track of the rates I get anyway ;)
Response: Hopefully they taste as good as they smell :)
Response: Hopefully you like them :)
Response: I'm glad you like that one. Most people do, but I can't stand it. Haha.
Response: You’re welcome, I hope they’re good.
Response: Good, I’m so glad :)
Response: I sent 2 because I thought they were kind of small, and hopefully they both turn out to be different!
I believe they are green tea :)
Response: You’re welcome :)
Response: Thank you! I’m still new at them, so it’s great to know that my beginner inchies have made someone happy :)
Response: You’re welcome :)
Response: You’re welcome :)
Response: You’re welcome :)
Response: You’re welcome :)
Response: You’re welcome :)
Response: You’re welcome :)

Response: You’re welcome, I hope you like the tea as much as I do :)
Response: You’re welcome, I hope you like them
Response: You’re welcome :)
Response: You’re welcome :)
Response: You’re welcome :)
Response: You’re welcome :)
Response: I hope you like them.
Response: Yay! I hope you like them. I love sharing my loose teas with people, but most don't like the thought of being sent something 'loose', so I don't get to share with many people. Glad I could with you though. Do you have a favourite yet? ;)
Response: It’s so good! I hope you like it too.
Response: I’m glad you liked them :)
Response: Awesome! To tell you the truth, I was a little hesitant to send that one out because 'ew' was my first reaction when I'd heard of chocolate tea. But I'm glad someone is looking forward to trying it :)
Response: Thank you!! I noticed that too before I mailed it. I left it on my boyfriends table before we went to mail it and his place smelled all sweet & spicey :D
I'm glad you liked them! Let me know if you want more, I have tons of Celestial Seasoning's Teas <3
Response: I hope it tasted that way too :)
Response: Thanks :). They're Derek Cardigan frames and I got them from clearlycontacts.ca :)
Response: Thanks :). They're Derek Cardigan frames and I got them from clearlycontacts.ca :)
Response: I’m glad you got to make money and celebrate the day, double win!
Response: You’re welcome :)
Response: I’m glad it brings back some happy memories for you :)
Response: You’re welcome :)
Response: Sorry about that. It didn't even cross my mind.. Haha dumb moment :P
Response: You’re welcome :)
Response: Good, I’m glad you got to find some of them out :)
Response: You’re welcome :)
Response: Thank you, lovely :). I hope you found it.
Response: You’re welcome and thank you for your well wishes :)
Response: They did end up in there, along with many others, but I've moved them to my inbox, so it's not a problem :) <3
Response: You’re welcome! I hope they turn out good.
Response: You’re welcome :)
Response: Thank you! I hope you like them.
Response: You’re welcome :)
Response: Haha. I love that song. :D
Response: You're welcome <3
Response: Yeah, I'm a little 'out of the box' when it comes to most things. Enjoy :)
Response: You're welcome :). It's really hard to get yourself to like healthy stuff, but once I started noticing how much better I felt, it suddenly became easier :)
Response: You're welcome :)
Response: I love the veggie curry, and I really thought I wouldn't like it to begin with :)
Response: You're welcome :)
Response: You're welcome :)
Response: It's so good! Hope you try it and like it :)
Response: You’re welcome :)
Response: Hope they weren't too boring :P
Response: I have tons of apple recipes, I love sharing them :)
Response: You’re welcome :)
Response: You’re welcome :)
Response: You’re welcome! Maple syrup seems to make everything better :)
Response: You’re welcome :)
Response: I guess because it’s the life I live every day that it seems boring to me. It’s nice to know that someone from the incident thinks otherwise though :)
Response: You’re welcome :)
Response: They won’t disappoint you :)
Response: Haha, there’s something about the whole ‘Jim Morrison’ look.
Response: You're welcome! Seems they all have the 'Jim Morrison' look to them, don't they?
Response: You're welcome! And yes, totally a Dexter fan, they couldn't have picked a better actor to play him.
Response: Thank you, I hope it was to your liking :)
Response: Nice to (digitally) meet you as well :)
Response: Actually, I had to search around for one because Babelfish didn't have Danish for some reason.. not sure the site it was, but it wasn't Google. I'm glad you understood it for the most part though :) I can send you the English version if you wanted. :D
