Response: I'm so glad you like them! =] I forgot to take pictures of them, lol, but they were some of my favorites =]
The beards are made by taking tiny squares of tissue paper, and putting the tip of a dull pencil in the middle, then twisting the paper around the pencil. Then, I pressed the tip of the pencil (with the paper still over it) into some glue on the paper. I had started to use white craft glue (you can see it on the Kate Hudson card), but I found that my permanent snail glue worked a lot better. After pressing the paper into the glue, I pulled out the pencil, and pressed the glued-down point of the paper into the glue a little better, just to make sure it really stuck.
Hope that makes sense, lol; maybe I'll make a little pic tute and put it on my Flicker. I bet a snowman would look cute with that technique! =]
Response: I'm so glad it finally made it to ya! =] Yes, I carved the stamp myself. I'm still new to that whole thing, but I'm so addicted, it's pretty much all I do now ;)
Response: Oh, thank you, I'm glad you liked the card! To make the wings, I used pink mulberry paper, and used watered-down acrylic paints in aqua and purple to paint them =]
