Comment: Oh my gosh! I opened the box and saw the bat package and thought that was the ornament & I loved it! Then when I picked it up I realized there was something inside ~ and I loved it even more!! Thank you so much :)
Comment: Thank you so much for the wonderful Halloween pocket letter. I loved each one of the pockets. If I had to pick favorites I would choose H with the skeleton, L with the layered embellishment, and O with the confetti shaker... but I really want to pick them all! Thank you for sending such a nice project!!
Comment: Hi Chriss . . . these are awesome! You put so much work into these--embossing and tons of layers. My absolute favorite is the one with the rib cage--that's such a neat image. Oh, an that spider is so spooky! Thank you so much for these--I love them ;+)
Response: You're so welcome! I had a blast making them. Thank you for the rating and the heart!
Comment: OMG - totally love them all. Yes, Frogs rock. Thanks so much. Would love to make more of them and even do private swaps - let me know if you ever have an interest in that. Thanks again. Super fun.
Response: Glad you like them - the frogs were fun to make. Sure, I'm always up for a private swap; let me know what you're interested in. Thanks for the rating and the heart.
Comment: Thank you for the wonderful batch of inspiration cards, Chriss. They're gorgeous & boy do I need inspiration! I totally did NOT have it for this swap. Spent way too much time creating the container & lost my mojo by the time I got to the actual cards :(
Response: Glad you liked them - I had to think of each one as a tiny ATC because I was having problems with inspiration as well. Thank you for the rating and the heart.
Comment: I loved how sparkly everything was (mermaid scales! and even your food!) Nope...can't read a word, but the writing is very artistic, nice job! LOL I often have the same problem with judging stamp and addy placement, but I love the tiger! Thank you.
Response: I got sparkle gel pens for Christmas-I had to use them! Stamps are always larger than I remember. I'll never learn. Lol. Thank you for the rating and the heart.
Comment: Loooove this postcard, Chriss! It arrived in perfectly good condition. So, is the shiny coat on top of the artwork embossing powder/crystals? If so, it's super effective! ^_^ I've never seen it in action but always wanted to give it a try. Thanks for the great mail art!
Response: Yay! Yep, it's 3 layers of regular embossing powder. That was the first time I've covered something so large (and the first time I've ever used that stamp) - I loved the effect too.
Comment: My first response to your monster was "awww he's a bat! how cute!" and then I read your description. To think I put my finger tips near this dude! Thanks for making a monster that comes out while I'm sleeping. Few things do when I am on night schedule. (:
Response: I'm glad he'll have something to eat then! LOL; thanks for the rating and the heart.
Comment: It's always wonderful to receive a swap from you, Chriss! I love the little envelope book and appreciate the time and your talents that went into making it. Totally dig the ATC but know someone who would go batty for it! She'll have to settle for a color copy! Thanks for a fun swap!! xo
Response: You're always a pleasure to send to! Thank you for the rating and the heart.
Comment: Ooh! You did get a "what the hell?!" out of me. The postman put your eyeball in upside down so it looked like the wonkiest rattliest package when I first grabbed my mail. And then! EYEBALL. Very very good show. Thanks!
Response: Glad it did it's job. I was worried that the plastic would crack - I have the mate, you might get that for Christmas. LOL. Thanks for the rating and the heart.
Comment: All.The.Hearts!! ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ I seriously don't know where to start with this. I loved everything in the box! There were so many little envies to open, and envies within envies, it was like Hallo-Xmas for me! The pocket letter is great!! I've been needing more lovely Halloween PLs and this one fits the bill perfectly. Love all the diecuts, the tiny ace of diamonds, the wooden pumpkin, vampire teeth, all the Hannibal-y dissection...gah, I could go on and on. It was an amazing box and I'm grinning hugely now. Thanks so much! *huggy* ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
Response: Yay!!! You're welcome! So glad you liked it - I had so much fun making stuff. My fav was the vampire teeth. So, in my infinite wisdom, when making the PL, I attached the banner before I decorated the last two pockets and then I couldn't get the cards out. I'm an idiot. Lol!
Comment: omg. I love your matchbox and it is cracking me up because I just realized I never gave any specific dimensions in the swap description for matchbox *size*- when I got the box you mailed it in I was just thinking to myself "did she really use a box this big for something hardly two inches long?!" Your box is very spooky and wonderful. I love the little spiders and spooky people and the fact that even the writing on the outside of the box seems to be of something spooky. Thank you very much (:
Response: LOL! I"m sure I've made that sort of postal decision before! I made a small one but I felt that Vincent and the cockroach really needed to be in it so I went larger. Pleased you like it - I fear you're going to get sick of my stuff fast since you keep getting me for a partner. LOL!
Comment: I feel bad that you had to resend, silly that I am! Thanks so much for doing so... I love this nice little collection of materials all ready to make some fun! Love the little container as wel.l
Response: Thanks for the opportunity to resend - so glad that you liked the items. Thank you for the rating and heart!
Comment: I am glad you posted a picture of this before you sent it because your tiny person liberated themselves from your tag. (fret not, I have plenty and will glue a new one in place) I already told you how cool I think your design is, it looks even better in person. :D
Response: I can't tell you how many times he 'liberated' himself from where I was working - I ended up taping him to the cabinet. So glad you like it - great selection of items you sent. Thanks for the rating and heart!
Comment: You are forgiven. The glitter DID make the board merry! I am so sorry for the late rate. Operator error, I saved the ratings, but did not fill in the five button, so it stayed at I do not wish to rate...
Response: No worries, just glad they weren't lost. Thanks for the rating and a heart!
Comment: Hands down, the most epic Star Wars mail I've ever received. I feel super lucky to be on the receiving end of this, Chriss - thank you so much! The envelope book is AWESOME! Those engineering plans you used are so cool. The goodies are perfect - I especially love the Yoda flash sticker (will have to see if I can make a shadowbox with it or something) and your ATC...ha! I'm always up for putting Vader in compromising/out-of-character positions. ;D Thanks again!
Response: Yay!! I kept dithering about the envelope book, so I'm really glad you liked it. I can't wait to see what you do with the sticker! Heh, the suited Vader talked dirty to me. Lol.
Comment: Fab masterboards, Chriss! I can't pick a fave. I love all the angular shapes and copper accents on the green one and the inky washes and flourishes on the blue one. The embossed details are really snazzy. I think I'll have to break down and get some powders to add to my repertoire (I have a heat gun around here somewhere). Thanks!
Response: Whoot!! It was a lot of fun doing them - of course, I feel like they're still a little OCD. LOL.
Sorry for the yucky USPS envie, the post office wouldn't take the one I drew on. (WTH?)
Comment: Wow, this ATC is incredible! Both the idea and execution are excellent. I love it, and the well thought-out extras, too. Did you make the note card, too? Thank you!
Response: Whoot! Glad you liked it - I love that little frog stamp - his little toes! I did make the card, that's my first love in papercrafts. Thank you for the comment and the heart and letting me swap with you!
Comment: Chriss! What a great pair of ATCs! I feel lucky to have both - either one would have bowled me over. Poe and Mr. Clown will have a loving home with me. :D Thank you so much! The goodies are fab, too. Those I Spy clown cards are cool! I don't have anything like them. Anytime you want to do this again just let me know!
Response: Yay!!!! I'm so glad you liked them! I had fun searching my craft room for clowns. I'd love to do this again sometime. Thank you for the comment and heart.
Comment: Oh Chriss, thank you so much for a wonderfully crafted and thoughtful swap! You clearly have a knack for making quality little envies... and find the perfect goodies to stuff inside! I love that you read my profile and then made the perfect swap for me, thank you hardly seems sufficient for all your attention to detail! ♥
Response: Yay!! It was a lot of fun going through your profile and trying to figure out how to incorporate stuff into the swap. I"m really pleased that you enjoyed it.
Comment: This was your first handmade PC? I would NOT have known that - it's amazing!! I love the hearts and washi ... and especially the punny stamp! <3 Thanks so much for such an awesome card! Happy Valentine's! :)
(i forgot - I also really enjoyed Guardians of Ga'hoole! I think you should give the Lunar Chronicles (Cinder is the first one) a try and see if you like them!)
Response: Whoot!! Thank you - I'm glad you liked it. I had fun, I think I may need to do more. I'll definitely try the Lunar Chronicles - it looks like Cinder is free to download - thanks for the rec!
Comment: Thank you for your beautiful card...I love it! Do you know I like bats too. We have a lot that fly around are area at night and I like to see and hear them as they are out.
Response: Yay! So glad you liked it.
Bats are fantastic! We see them down at the river but, sadly, never by the house. We have some bat houses but no one has ever moved in - which is probably good, since I lack the self-control to not bother them. LOL
