Comment: Thanks for the well-made block. What an interesting world we live in: We are very cold, well below freezing and you are so hot even your cat allows you to put a damp tea towel on her (I never would have thought of that!) I certainly would not sew in that kind of heat either.

Comment: I absolutely love my kookaburra and my ring tail opossum! The kookaburra is really special, because when I was growing up I learned the old kookaburra song while in campfire girls. I'm glad you are aware of that song too. We used to sing "Waltzing Matilda"....and I believe that is a song from Australia too.

Comment: Thanks for all the stamps! Yes there is a good way to soak them off the paper. To make sure they're not sticky soak until they are released on their own from the paper. For self-adhesive stamps you just need to make sure when peeling off that the sticky film comes off--if soaked long enough this should come off in one piece. As for the curling, place between 2 smooth cloths, and place something heavy on top overnight.

To top it off, its on quilting which I am a novice at and need all the info possible, since I cant afford to take quilting classes at the time. Response: I do see it was worth the cost:) I loooooove those mags, you learn so much from them. You have Fons & Porter in USA. I've only found their seasonal mags eg. baby quilts - summer '08. They too are great mags. There's a mag swap on swap-bot - check it out. I went in #1 but #2 is US only. Thanks again for another heart. Happy swapping!

Response: That's sooo nice of you. I use colouring books for ideas and just raw edge zigzag back & forth 3 times all the way round. Sometimes I only use black thread for the outline look. Try it, it's not as hard as it looks. Thank you for the heart:)
