We did have some horrid weather Thanksgiving week..our little town of Silverdale was like the middle of it all...a powerline went down just a few feet away from our driveway and we didn't have power from Monday through Friday! Yuck! But we survived and had a nice thanksgiving at some friend's houses (and, I didn't have to cook or clean or ANYthing!!!!)

Comment: Yes. Last year we got more than usual. To me it seems odd that Canada doesn't get snow. I thought all of you got it. Have a great Season and thanks for the card.
Response: Most of Canada gets snow and Vancouver Island where we live does not get snow that often. At the moment we have snow. Lots of it and it is very chilly, about 4 degrees below zero. Last year we did not get any snow. Thanks for the rating and for the heart.

Comment: I wish that I could give you a zillion hearts for my package. I loved the Kauffman fabric and the butterflies. The scraps are always appreciated as well. I am going to put the dangly bead thing on my lawn bowling bag so I know which ones is mine. There are so many blue ones the same and no one will have those beautiful beads hanging on theirs. Thank you too for the stickers, cards, thread, storage bag and ribbon. You are such a generous friend and I love all your surprises in the package.

The red toile is lovely, I like red, I just have a hard time picking red prints...you did a wonderful job for me instead! I'm batty about the Batik...now you have my husband wanting a Batik shirt! And I can never say enough thank you's for the 1930's fabric.....you are a wonderful spoiler Enid! My co-worker and I are having a great time reading your letter about your home town and all the neat things going on!
Response: Yes, those batik shirts do get a lot of compliments, too. Easy to iron and always lookk crisp.Glad you liked the fabrics.

I let Mateo open the envelope and when he saw the fish fabric he started to read the card to me (he just turned 5 and can't read yet) but he said "dear Dottie and Mateo"...he pretended the package was addressed to him to because it had fish fabric in it. too funny
