Yes, I deeply loved Alaska. My oldest daughter was born there the day after my 25th birthday. I feel very deep ties. It's one of those places where I'd return in a heartbeat with no questions asked. I hope we get to swap again, too.

Comment: Hi Carole--thanks so much for the cool bridge card. I'm not sure I'd want to cross it if it took two hours in the car--why would that make me nervous? Silly, I know. A long time to spend on a bridge, though. Still--cool image!
Response: It's just traffic...it's not that *long* of a bridge, distance-wise! When the traffic is normal (no Army/Navy games or big holiday weekends) it only takes about a half hour to 40 minutes. But traffic can get ugly really quick. I think it's a beautiful bridge to sight-see from - the Chesapeake Bay is gorgeous. I just don't want to sit there for any length of time. (btw, not silly to get nervous. Some people can't cross any bridges at all.)

Response: Yes, it is absolutely grunge board! Of course Tim shows many ways to use it on his website. It takes ink well and you can cut it into all sorts of shapes. It's pretty nifty stuff.
I'm so glad you like the ATCs! I had a lot of fun making them.

With that said, I wish to extend my sincerest appreciation for the lovely stamped images you sent to me for this swap. I loved each and everyone of them. I appreciated both the religious and non-religious images you sent and will use both on cards I create for Christmas next year. I can see me coloring them with some medium, using glitter or embossing powder on some. I have lots of ideas. All these images will be appearing on my handmade Christmas cards next year. The Images you sent did not meet the swap requirements, They were very small, and the quantities were not as specified either. I checked your profile, and you seem to be a great swapper with lots of hearts. You also seem to be a very busy woman, and I can relate. I gave the Images you sent to a friend that makes ATCs, and doesn't stamp, she thought that she could use them.

the package was opened by customs and there was a used tissue :( inside and no note. i am not sure if they take anything else but still i have plenty! thank you.
