Response: The Trekking game is lots of fun! I am a huge fn of board and card games. Such a great way to bond with family
Response: Thank you! I am currently packing and I think I could make a living packing up for moving but only if there is muscle involved. I cannot lift what I could in my youth.

Response: Goodness. I must have the mail issues sorted because now I don’t remember what they were :-) That’s the great thing about these swaps. Things that are our negatives are often forgotten. The pluses .... they are never forgotten.
Response: Thank you for the heart! Not sure if you need an Instagram account, but I recorded myself opening the order https://www.instagram.com/tv/CGAjd4dndyz/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link
Response: Oh, there’s more where that came from! I don’t know what I’m gonna do when I’ve sent everything in that flight series! Thank you for the heart

Response: I don’t think it is from one of his books but the quote is widely attributed to Stephen King. I suspect is it from an interview. Glad you like the card! Thank you for the heart
Response: Yay! Thank you!
Response: Wow! I have been sending mailart for nearly 40 years and rarely have one get that destroyed. Perhaps the postal gods were displeased by my attempt to draw Dame Densch ;-) I’ll give it another try. EDIT: So glad the replacement pleased the postal gods! Next month I’m attempting Stephen King .... oh I hope I don’t offend HIS buddies :-D
Response: I am happy it has found an appreciative recipient :-)
Response: I’m glad you like it so much! And cheers Iago too!
Response: Oh I am so happy it traveled as I hoped! And very pleased that you enjoyed it. Thank you for the heart!
Response: Oh dear. My glue failed me. The missing word is “carry” but I love your idea of “postal poetry” Thank you!
Response: I hope you have many happy days filling those notecards with love while enjoying the sea breeze!
Response: The Walt Disney Museum in San Francisco is wicked cool, even though it is very pro-Disney. I love a well curated museum. And, I am guilty of loving my past visits to Disneyworld. I doubt I will ever visit again though. So many other places interest me
Response: Thank you! I hope that one returns a year or so from now to remind me I did have fun in 2020 :-)
Response: So pleased you enjoyed it! I hope all your tea is the perfect temperature and never bitter :-)
Response: I think that is the toilet paper postcard? I think I’m giving up on that book. Just soooooo bad!
Response: I'm thrilled you enjoyed it and thank you for the heart :-)
Response: Thank you for the heart :-) I enjoyed making that card and was thrilled to see you enjoy Halloween!
Response: Thank you for the heart! My granddaughter, Aurora Claire, was born 1 Sept and it was a lovely sunny day. We think she just wanted her own birth month ... her big brother's b-day is in August :-) Hurricane Irene hit, and did damage, but nothing too bad.
Response: I was a LEXer back in 91! Member #7934 :-) I've lapsed and rejoined a few times, currently in lapse. How cool to meet you again!

Response: Thanks! It was a fun swap, too!
Response: The little journal is a matchbook journal. I am going crazy making them lately :-)
Response: I love lolcats :-) And those muffins were a one time purchase to appease a meat eating family member during the winter holidays. He'll know better than to request meat in the future :-)

Response: Thank you, Alfie! I really did have fun putting the box together :-)
Response: Thank you for the heart, Linda!
Response: Thank you, Krista! I have been trying to perfect my adhesive application for months now. An adhesive eraser helps, but mostly it is just using less adhesive and spreading it evenly. Takes lots more time and I still get impatient at times, but I'm getting better :-)
Response: Thank you Jackie. I am always so timid and nervous about my homemade cards. Your enthusiasm in encouraging!
Response: Wow... that got to you fast! Thank you for the heart :-)
Response: Thank you! I was hoping it would make it without opening prematurely and the door getting torn off.
Response: Did you peek inside the mailbox? On the front, you can peel off the little clear label holding the door closed :-)
Response: Thank you for the heart! And I'm glad you enjoyed the cards. I am quite the postcard fanatic :-)
Response: It really is a lovely city, and if you happen to be here for Light Up Night, Nov 19, you can see Pittsburghers go WILD for fireworks. D.C., Boston and NYC got NOTHING on Pgh for fireworks.
Response: It's a tight fit, but I love finding myself in most mailboxes :-) Thank you for the heart!
Response: Thank you, Colleen!
Response: Thank you! I just love that notecard :-)
Response: Thank you! And I'm surprised Part II arrived first. Hope Part I arrives soon :-)
Response: Thank you! Actually, I had Friday off so I played in the art room. I'm going to cancel my art-use postage myself from now on. I started using some of the plainer or weird vintage I get on postcard fronts and everyone has been mangled.
Response: Thank you for the heart! If you ever want the name of my super special vintage postage seller, let me know. He charges face value, and a bit extra for postage and is very, very nice!
Response: I'm so very glad you enjoyed the package. And I am even more thrilled that it was an inspiration! Thank you very much for the heart :-)
Response: Thank you Russ!
Response: Thank you for the heart! We have decided on a patio, though that could change once we start the ground work, which will probably be in the next two week.
Response: I have a rubber stamp with the squares ... Hero Arts C2440. I'm glad you liked the card and I did toss ALL my glues. Any recommendations for a great glue?

Response: Happy that you enjoyed the package. Thank you for the heart :-)
Response: Thank you! I was one of those kids who got rapped knuckles for poor penmanship. Didn't "correct" my writing, just encouraged me to develop my own style ;-)
Response: Thank you :-) I wish I had bought more of the paper now that I've had a chance to use it. Good excuse to go back to the zoo :-)
Response: Thank you Brenda :-)
Response: If you only have time for a short listen ... listen to the very last cut on the CD. It is very funny :-)
Response: If I were your neighbor, I'd get nothing done around the house. I'd be playing in glue and paper every waking moment :-)
Response: I'm thrill it made it in one piece and delights you! I had so much fun making it. Feels so good to get back in the swing of handmade postcards!

Response: So happy you enjoyed the card :-) Thank you for the heart.
Response: I did send this... very, very late, but I haven't heard from hanfmuk... she seems to have had a very rough time. Hoping all is better now!
Response: I had your old address on hand from previous swaps. I'm glad the envelope forwarded properly.
Response: Thank you! I am so glad you like the inchies. When I was a kid I got terrible marks in penmanship class. I think I learned to print nice out of a desire to prove the mean teacher with the ruler with which she whacked my knuckles when I didn't make my letters perfect :-)
Response: I'm thrilled that the knitting parcel arrived. I had so much fun shopping! A while back I had a dear Polish penpal whose name is Malgosia and she used Gosia as her nickname. You remind me of her, so I suppose that is why I used it :-)
Response: We had such a fun time picking out beers for the names :-) The only real disappointment in our adventure was Blithering Idiot beer. Great name. Awful beer. Thank you for the heart!
Response: I was sort of hoping you would be of Czech descent. Your name does have a bit of a Central European feel :-) I've had beer in Czech Republic and I have to say, the setting made it enjoyable. I could not finish the HUGE glass I was given, but it was great fun.
Response: The photo of the books with blueberries is mine, taken from the chair where I sit most often. The sunset/rise is a mystery. I have a bunch of photos in my ephemera box that I can't recall ever taking, and have no idea how I might have gotten them. I suspect at some point I got them via mail exchanges. El melon was in a grab bag sort of thing I got from animadesigns.com, one of my favorite haunts, and she is local... Verona, I think. I had fun putting the swap all together and I'm thrilled you enjoyed the envelope :-)
Response: I was getting worried about the packaging on this swap. Cost me 75¢ extra for the small, but fat, envelope, and the USPS lady made me feel like I made a huge mistake sending such a small fat envelope. So glad it arrived in one piece and you like the inchies :-)
Response: Danger Will Robinson! Oh my goodness... I only got to see a few of those programs because my mother did not believe we should watch tv, but I did love Lost in Space. And I had never seen that one with the crying plants, but man... so ahead of its time :-) Thank you for the heart!
Response: Thank you Laura!
Response: I love that stamp :-)
Response: Thank you! I wish those two would get on the bus again... I am worried about them.
Response: I'm so glad it arrived and you like the ephemera :-) And so sorry for the delay. I learned a lesson about international mail that I won't soon forget. Customs forms for everything now.
Response: I love Parker Button. The sales folk were so intrigued by the whole idea of a button scavenger hunt. I would love to do another of these, and may start my own in a month or so.
Response: Ooooo... it hasn't been anywhere near that hot here. I think the wildfires are only a few hundred miles south of you, yes? Wishing I could send our rain and cooler temps your way!
Response: Oh man... if you ever get to California, go to Eureka! Lovely little town, even in the pouring rain, which is mostly how we saw it. Glad you enjoyed all the cards :-)
Response: Weeee! So glad you enjoyed it :-) Thank you for the heart!
Response: Thank you! When I read your profile, I was thrilled.... I had the perfect postcards for you and they are a bit larger than usual, so I wouldn't have to squeeze writing into the usual size card :-)
Response: Thank you for the heart! I often think I am Pittsburgh's best cheerleader :-) You would think I have lived here all my life, when I'm really just a newcomer!
Response: Welcome back ophelia73! Are you back, or just doing some housework? Hope you are back :-)
Response: Oh man... you have GOT to go to Handmade Arcade this year! It is Nov 8. The website is http://www.handmadearcade.com/ Last year it was held near East End Food Coop, and I hope it is in the same place this year. It was with a funky building supply place called Construction Junction http://www.constructionjunction.org/
Response: We had a WONDERFUL trip! Would love to go back in the autumn next time.
Response: Sent you an email letting you know the details of the book :-)
Response: I think your card was the hardest because I used so many postage stamps. I did send a second email with the details of the book. I want to do this swap again, too!
Response: I am looking forward to more color swaps when I get back from the Smokies! And you were already on my postcard list for a card from the mountains :-)
Response: Oooo, it arrived faster than I thought it would! Looking forward to your answers! :-)
Response: Glad you enjoyed the card and it was the first SB thing to arrive! Here's to lots and lots and lots of SB mail :-)
Response: Should you ever come this way again, let me know. We will take you on a tour of the city. I am not a native Pittsburgher, but I am thoroughly enjoying my adopted city!
Response: I'm so glad you enjoyed the envelope! I love helping people with their collections :-)
Response: Thank you! I so enjoyed making it :-)
Response: Thank you! I am sure we will meet again :-)
Response: I was so thrilled to get your name again! I knew just what I wanted to send you for those little extras :-)
Response: Glad you like the card and that it travelled well. The card stock I used for the postcard is amazingly durable. I got it for a song at a Borders Bookstore! I think I paid $1.99 for 10 blank postcards.
Response: Thank you! I'm so thrilled to be able to recommend this book! It is a lot of fun :-)
Response: Oh! No worries! I just want to make sure you got the cards. See this article.....

It isn't likely I had anything in the mail this postal worker delayed, but it could happen as it isn't far from where I am.
Response: Thank you! The Thirteen and a Half Lives of Captain Bluebear is indeed intriguing! I am about a breath away from the end and looking forward to reading more from the same author. Fantastic imagination!
Response: You are welcome! It is a fun book... though very, very long.
Response: Xyron is a small tool that makes anything a sticker. The machine is hand operated, no electricity or batteries, but it is a bit pricey. The paper needed to create stickers is very pricey, but I wait until it is on sale and then stock up.
Response: Man, I am glad that package arrived. I started worrying that I might have included homemade paper with pressed flowers in the stash, which I know isn't allowed through customs. Glad you enjoy the selection!
Response: I was pretty happy with how those little bundles wrapped in silver string :-)
Response: Wow! I've had my envelope mail get mangled, but not postcards, especially "real" postcards. I wonder if the damage is machine or human.... hmmmm.....
Response: With 58¢ worth of postage on it, I hoped it would get the royal treatment. Glad it arrived in good shape :-)
Response: This was sent the same day as all the other postcards for this swap. I wish you had notified me before rating a 1. This participant has a record of being irresponsible and this rating is unfair
Response: Oh my goodness...I am so glad you enjoyed it. I had such fun putting it together and worried a bit because I had misunderstood "fat quarter." I did find some more material that **is** fat quarter that I am sending as soon as I get to the post office.
Response: The pin-up girl is an iron-on transfer that is part of an entire sheet I had planned on using for a little evening bag embellishments, but my sewing machine is broken, so now I am using the sheet for ATCs
Response: I think Hershey Kisses have a place in everyone's heart! Even a curmudgeon like me :-)
Response: I am so happy you like it. I had such fun making it :-)
Response: Oh my goodness! That got to you so very quick! I just sent those on Saturday, and it had to go to Ireland. Wow. Air mail indeed!
Response: Hope the homemade card travelled well!
Response: Yes, I'm sure it is not the MA taxes or traffic you would miss :-)
Response: Glad there is another capitol lover out there :-)
Response: I'm thrilled you enjoyed it :-)
Response: When I saw your profile and looked at my stash of "wild," I knew those stickies would find a happy home :-)
Response: You are welcome! I love to find just the right postcard :-)
Response: Wow! That envelope caught a very fast plane. I only mailed it on the 29th of June and it had to go from PA to CA. Glad you like the embellishments :-)
Response: You received "Flights of Fancy" from me back in March. You did not respond to any of my THREE emails back in March.
I have also heard from others to whom you gave 1s...1s that are not deserved. I think there is something very wrong here.
Response: Oh my...I'm blushing! At my age I have never been called "dude." I feel like a sexy young thing again! Thank you! :-)
