I have the same issue, long hair + very fine but mass quantities of hair mean most hats eventually inch their way off the top of my head. So I'm a fan of the ones that allow lots of hair to go free but still keep the ears warm...

Comment: I think you did a good job on your first ATCs. They are different and its always great to see different techniques used. The only thing I would suggest is to use thicker cardstock for a back because they are kind of flimsy. I get mine from Ebay, you can just search atc cards or atc backs. I think I got around 80 very thick ones for about 12.00. Also, some people use chipboard as a back.

Response: Handspun is different depending on how good the spinner is (I'm still learning, so my yarn tends to be sport weight and full of bobbles) but it pretty much knits up like store bought. I'm so glad you liked the package, and especially glad that the snowglobe has found a good home!

Your eye for detail is great, with the lining of the coffin, the small trick or treat costume on the inside of the lid and the spooky forest on the outside :) This will be the new addition to my halloween decorations, it will be put on a shelf each year for many years to come. Frente, the Femmes, Gen + Jezebel & Black Tape/Blue Girl, oh my, where did you find these? vinyl? they're great! 'Mad World' sounds familiar, did someone else record version for Donnie Darko? Merci Jasmyn! j'adore le mix.
Response: I'm so glad you like it! I was kind of worried for a bit. Actually, it just comes down to the fact that my roommate and myself are very passionate about music and we pretty much have two hard drives slaved to our main PC that are full of nothing but music, and that doesn't count the stacks of CD's we haven't ported over yet. Tears for Fears did the original, the version on Donnie Darko is a cover. As for Black Tape, I'm friends with Libby and Sam (lead singer and guy who started the band) so any Black Tape music is a doddle for me. I have more of it than I know what to do with... :P And as a matter of fact I do have most of the earlier stuff on vinyl, including Clock DVA, Misfits, Ministry, and my prize possesion, Judas Priest's Rocka Rolla...

Comment: I enjoyed a few of your answers, including the people you'd take on the island and the title of the movie of your life. I also am a big fan of the Mutter Museum. I've been there a few times, myself and was GOING to get a backstage tour of the place, but unfortunately, the former curator passed away.

Response: Oh good, I was afraid you wouldn't like the journal, but I couldn't find any fabric in black and grey that had butterflies. I thought that the design was subtle enough that it was still pretty. I figured the butterfly punch should just go along with everything else.. :) I'm glad you liked everything, I was kind of worried since it was the first time I made a lot of those things.

I mean really, I work in a building with milliions of jars of pickled animals, not to mention all the skins and bones, and we just don't take chances.
