Response: When I was growing up at my grandma's, she and I made hundreds of paper dolls for me to play with--very much like that one. They lived in desk drawers, under the bathroom sink, under the silverware, in every cabinet and inside of every phone book and magazine. There was an entire world of them!!!

Response: Actually, I do it the old fashioned way--When I find an envie I like the size and/or shape of, I carefully take it apart and use it for my template. Once I get started it is hard to stop and I usually end up with a stack!!

Response: That's exactly what it reminded me of!! My mother's mom taght me to sew on her treadle machine when I was 5--had to sit on her lab and she had to pump the treadle!! She and my mom had tons of buttons in jars and tins!!
