Comment: Thanks for the post card. I've read 2 Mary Roach books but not Grunt.
I looked up Never eat alone. It reminds me of a book I read years ago called 'Power Shmoozing' which was about networking and connecting people with each other.
Response: Power Schmoozing may be the best phrase I have ever heard. I don't know why that strikes me so funny.
I'll have to check it out!
Comment: Hello Bobbi,
thank you for the wonderful postcard about your favorite bird. The card is filled with all kinds of bytes of information. I love the postcard and it will go anatomy Special Postcard Collection..
Comment: Bobbi, I got your Jackalope card. I am giving you a Heart for originality! Haha I have seen some Jackalope in my time here in Texas. Usually stuffed. But I am pretty sure they exist and I bet Bigfoot knows where they are! I love the lore on the front of the card!
Comment: I love your choices for the postcards, thank you!! The one from Salt Lake City looks like it has a fairy castle on it. Also thank you for the tips on visiting Montezuma, they are very helpful.
Comment: What a wonderful handwritten letter you sent! Thanks so much. I, too, am concerned about all the "classics" that are being removed from today's curriculum, especially those things that promote creativity & the arts. There's something so personal about anything handwritten...whether cursive or printed!
Your letter definitely had that personal touch.
Response: I love letter writing. I'm so glad you enjoyed it.
Comment: Wow, thank you so much! Your list and everything else arrived here yesterday and it was nothing but perfect! Actually, I've read quite a few of the titles as well, so I'll be sure to like some others I haven't read yet. I'll definitely try them! Thanks also for showing me a bit of your area, your swap really made my day!
Response: I'm so glad you liked it. I had so much fun with this swap. I'd love hear how you liked any of the books!
Comment: Thank you so much for the pretty atc. Question though. Were there sequins on the card? The envelope was torn open with a large piece of envie missing. There was a sequin that fell out and I have no idea if anything was missing, but I do like the atc. This has never happened before and I know it is not your fault.
Response: I've never had anything damaged in post before. I think I've just been really lucky. There was just the one sequin in the center. I'm sorry it got hurt :(
Comment: What a great ATC! I love that you were able to mesh several parts together; and the map holder is so fantastic I'm going to store it in there instead of putting it in a slot in my ATC binder! Thanks for the bonus postcard too!
Response: I had so much fun with that one, so I'm so glad you enjoy it. :)
Comment: Thank you for the great ATC. I love your choice of paper- especially the background one! Thank you for the nice note too. I Hope you had a nice Thanks giving and have a great December/ Jan. Holiday season! Lorisue
Comment: Great PC. . .I took some classes in Phoenix and thought it was a great city but oh so hot in the summer, but I really didn't mind it that much. It's very interesting that the new ballpack there has a heated pool and spa in center field, and the retractable roof is wonderful. Thanks for the great PC and happy swapping ~~
Comment: Thank you so much for the inspiring ofrenda and letter. I looked at the photos first, and was immediately struck by the camel ... and I love the image of the smell of the tobacco ... what a great story of making this tradition your own. Sounds like these were very special men! Thanks so much for sharing, I will share my story with you as well (probably next week).
Response: Thanks for hosting this, it was a really interesting experience for the whole family!
Comment: Well for your first ATC ever you did GREAT!!! It's a keeper! I love all the witch stickers on the envelope too! I am trying to remove them and reuse them (Yes, I am a hoarder! hehe) Thanks again!
Comment: Thank you so much for the fantastic handmade pirate card! I loved it. Also, the gear paper on your extra note was really cool. I would really enjoy starting up a penpal/swappie thingie! I shall write you back post haste!
Comment: Hello Bobbi,
Thank you for the book entitled Nickeled and Dimed. This book is definitely out of my reading genre. I am not a huge non-fiction reader. So, this will be a challenge. However, this book sounds interesting. Thank you for sending me this book and for challenging me to read in a genre I don't read in often.
