Response: Maybe you'll be back one day and then you can explore more :) But I totally understand the feeling, I usually like to go someplace new for a holiday / trip, so if I miss something it's unlikely I'll get to see it in the next few years - for example when we travelled across Australia we didn't make it to the Uluru - so that'll be at least ten years (if at all) before I get to see that. Response: I'm glad you liked everything :) Stamps are great for papercrafting, aren't they? I'm always disappointed in the stamps from the USA though, while they have great designs they don't come off the paper without tearing apart (at least the newer ones in my experience). They're all pages from a calendar actually, but I don't want to just throw them away because they are perfect for letter writing, I truly like how they look and they can be neat conversation starters or just give someone a reason to think about different stuff than the normal day-to-day-routine. The next calendar is alreay an item on my Christmas Wishlist ;-)

Comment: What a great letter, thank you so much. I can't quite believe you enjoy hot humid climates, but other than that it was nice. I'll return the letter when I have a moment. I'm finding I'm not as good at that as I'd like to be.

Comment: Congratulations, Caddi! That is very exciting news, indeed! I myself am Auntie to twin girls, now four. When my sis-in-law was pregnant, she spent most (if not all) of her third trimester in the hospital. So I understand completely! And congratulations, too, on passing an exam that you thought you did poorly on! That's great! :-) My own exciting news was small in comparison. I was just so happy to have read for the full 24 hours in January's 24in48 Readathon! The first one of those I did, I only read for about 19 hours, so I was proud of myself for managing my social time (-ahem- distractions) well enough to read for the full 24 hours. (I was also VERY happy about a change in relationship status for one of the characters in a book series I am reading.) :-) Thank you for sharing!

To answer your question, I don't think I could live on a boat! I prefer solid ground ;) Also thanks for taking the time to decorate the back of the card with colourful washi! Comment: Thanks for the New York PC. I went there 2x during my college days. I really had a good time on the 1st visit because I was with my class and our textile studio master and he took us into the private sections of the big design houses (studios). We saw Broadway plays and went to the top of the Empire State Building etc, but I agree with you, the city is too big for me.

Comment: Thank you for the cat pc. I love the postage stamps you used also-beautiful. The PO cancellation is very clear too. The return address: a lot of times I cannot make out the cancellation and the stamps have been inked out, torn, etc, making it very frustrating to figure out where it was sent from. I also am interested in learning about cities, not just countries, so I sometimes look on maps to see where the city is in relation to whether it is on the coast or near another place I know about. I'm not that interested in your street address, but if the po needed to return something to you , they would not be able to without it.

But it's true, I also love to know where the card came from. I have a world map where I like to put pins in so I can see the places where I got postcards from, but often it's not clear where the sender lives. As to where Saarbrücken is, it's close to the French and Luxembourg Border, (10 and 50 minutes respectively) and while I don't think it's a pretty city, there are other interesting places nearby - like Trier, about an hour away as well, which is one of the oldest German citys dating back over 2.000 years. Sadly, we are nowhere near the coast - I'd love that! Anyways, I hope you're doing well!

To answer your question, he works in information technology for one of the world's largest corporations. He's doing an expediated training program which requires us to move every six months for two years. It's always within the US, but the locations are all very far away and different so it's interesting. Starting completely over every six months is lonely, but swapping has been making things much more pleasant since I started! :)

Comment: Your resend finally arrived! :) Haha, I always write my letters upside down as well... just last week I made an ATC that had a decorated + printed background and OF COURSE I drew the image upside down... -_- Yes, going to the hospital like 4 days a week is really boring. Last time I went there I was told there's nothing to do to the fact I can't feel my stomach at all, they can't fix it. Oh well, okay then! My life is currently very busy, which is why I decided to take a break from blogging as well. Another option was to put Swapbot on pause but that's no fun :P I want mail! I'm going on holiday for 5 days on Nov 4th and I have evenings free, so I'm trying to reply ALL my letters then, yours too! I'll also be dropping some of my pals, just for the lack of time. :/ Okay, this was long haha. I hope you're having a great week!
