Our Xmas usually consists of a baked lunch/dinner, salads, fresh seafood, cold wine and champagne in an air conditioned house 😄😆 We have daylight savings so it doesn’t get dark until around 8pm in the summer months.

Comment: Nice stamp images (& extra's), thanks! Wow, we were in RCAF Baden-Sollingen (but we just called it 4 Wing) - it's an airport now. I was there a couple of years ago and saw our old apartment building! Where the apartment is, is called "Little Canada" - in German, of course, and the streets are Canadian names - Alberta St, etc. :)
Response: Small world! Great area, we lived off base in Baden-Baden because we weren't married & no common law then. We lived in a nice old building with sweet, crazy landlady. Lol We went to some of the US bases - which were huge by comparison.😅 I'm glad you liked everything! Take care!

I like to do my best on swaps & match profile likes so I am usually sending towards the end swap date but I found the picture of my swap on Aug 21st. It must have been evening as I wrote Aug 22nd by my swap send. (I like to record my swaps in a journal). I'm sad too because I was early sending it. Hopefully it was in good shape. I once received a swap all torn in a postal bag. 🙂

Comment: OHMYGOODNESS Tina! What an amazing & generous package! The envie is decorated beautifully, and was stuffed to the gills with so many pretty & neat things! Such a great assortment, and I love that you also made some things to hold all the ephemera. My faves are the maneki neko bag (SO adrob!), the pussywillow diecut (I've been gathering pussy willow images for an art journal page), and the amazing Xmas tag/embellies (love how you grouped those together all cute). Comment: I cannot believe this was your first pocket letter. It is so amazing!!! Such attention to detail, even the package was cool! I love the little journal tied with string! The handmade matchbook with the tiny post it notes blew me away! I love that each paper pocket was made with different interesting paper and filled with tiny treasures. I cannot wait to put all of it in my journals, including the lime notepaper!!
