Response: You’re so welcome! It was fun to put together. Let me know how that rainbow ice gum is, I’m very curious (they stopped selling it at my local store already, boooo).
Response: Thank you for being smarter than me. ;) Oy, sorry for the confusion!
Response: I’m glad you liked it! You were very easy to design for. Jewel tones, buttons, art. Done. Lol 😉
Response: LOL, I’m surprised I remembered myself!
Response: It was a blast to put together. We should do it agin soon! ❤️
Response: I hope they’re helpful!
Response: I went through a papyrus phase about a decade ago and I’m STILL trying to work trough them. LOL
Response: I’ve heard her watercolor pens (though they’re known to leak) are downright amazeballs, so I wouldn’t be surprised if you fall in love with them. Oooh I just got an idea. Keep your eyes on your mailbox this weekend/next Monday. 😊
Response: Bless your generous soul. 😉 Actually she was the only one that I felt proud of. The colors are so vibrant in person (Qor high chroma watercolors) and I thought you might like something a little different. I’m glad I picked correctly. 😊
Response: Honestly I probably should’ve used envelopes. Or maybe tags. It wasn’t sturdy enough, you know? But I’m glad it made it there and it sparked creativity. I couldn’t ask for more. :)
Response: Aww shucks, thanks. It was fun to make. :)
Response: Dude, the mind is a strange place. I’ve had that dream repeatedly too. What does it mean? That I’m dehydrated when I go to sleep? LOL And I’ll email you the digital stationary for your own use when I get to work Monday. Remind me if I forget. :)
Response: Me too. It was my favorite valentine swap so far this year.
Response: Thanks for participating in the swap! :)
Response: They really were! I hope there are future swaps like this. :)
Response: I absolutely loved making it!
Response: Pay close attention to Thomas Oliver on the list. His solo track on there was inspired by Ben Harper’s first album. He wrote an entire album for the instrument Ben plays. It’s pretty good!
Response: Oh yay, I’m glad it made it there. It was a challenge as the color is so light I had a hard time thinking how to make it interesting and still stay within the bounds of the color. So dimension it is! :)
Response: I hope the postage has arrived by now?
Response: No worries; I had totally forgotten it myself. Hope you had a wonderful holiday season. :)
Response: Oh, ugh. I still use my yahoo account but it’s mostly just spam/vendor emails. I check in SB so regularly that I just ignore the SB emails, so I totally feel you!
And OMG Love Radiohead so much. Knowing this, I’ll think of other music you may like and send them your way. ;)
Response: I just bought the Qor high chromas online and am very anxious to get my hands on them. Squeee! :)
Response: LOLOL I couldn’t help myself! Hope your vacuum didn’t get too much of a workout. 🤗
Response: And you are absolutely foxy. 😉
Response: Happy Love day to YOU!!
Response: I’m so glad you liked it. Wasn’t that raccoon just the CUTEST?! Honestly I would super happy if paper companies used more ‘bandits’ in their designs. Thanks again for hosting such a fun swap!!
Response: I’m glad. :) There was more I wanted to send but I thought ‘but then I won’t have anything to send for later!’ We simply must do this again soon. Was perfect!
Response: Me too. :) I thought of another yesterday: when you’re planning your day in the shower and the main element of that planning is upcoming swaps. 😉
Response: You’re making me blush. 😘
Response: Oh yay!!! I had two other mermaid washis but they weren’t in your color palette. Maybe I’ll just send them over since you’re so close and all. Edited: actually they seem to have walked away recently. If I ever unearth then I will send them your way!
Response: Yes her line of products is colorful and I’ve wanted to play with it for so long u til I finally broke down and got some on sale. Hope you have fun with it. :)
Response: Im so glad it got their safely and you are more than welcome!! :)
Response: You’re welcome and have a wonderful 2019!
Response: I too was excited! Rarely does that happen on SB for me. I wish it did more often actially, that way I could get to know folks more instead of doing the Type 3 drivebies (what is the plural for drive-by? How can I not know this in today’s gun happy era?)
Response: I am SO addicted to shaped paper clips. I mean, if there was a rehab to get off of hunting and purchasing them, I should be locked away immediately. LOL! Glad someone loved them as much as I do. 😏
Response: And to you my dear! :)
Response: Yay, glad it finally made it! :)
Response: I still owe you a postcard blank! ;)
Response: I hope you like it! I had to push through the first part (I’m sure you know which part I’m referring to) and then it starts getting awesome. The best part is every book after gets even more amazing as you understand the timeline/players. Brent Weeks is a truly gifted writer. His other series is good too, but this is still my favorite. I had a hard time at first with how he depicted women because it seems like obvious objectification until I read the whole book/series. And his other series. The women he writes are really strong and I admire him for that. :)
Response: I’m glad you liked it! It was fun to make. :)
Response: I’m glad you liked it and I’m so looking forward to your letter! <3
Response: It was so fun putting together for you, so i’m really glad you liked it. We should definitely have more tag flips on SB! Maybe we should host one for winter/Christmas? :)
Response: Oh yay, it made it! I’m so glad you enjoyed it and hope you can get some use out of its contents. Have a wonderful Halloween!
Ps. I forgot to mention in the bag flip that the b/w patterned cardstock and the bag of bones are both glow in the dark; thought I should mention that for your crafting purposes. :)
Response: They’re pretty amazing!!
Response: Hope you enjoy my nostalgia!
Response: I adored that little ghostie; enjoy your fall season too! :)
Response: I’ve been thinking about this since last night and I have NO idea what could have been scented when I packed it. Thank goodness you happen to like it!
Response: You too; thanks for the heart!
Response: LOL, my postal lady now does the same, and she’s actually always right - it drives me crazy! I argued with her the other day that a tag with paper flowers on it should still be considered ‘paper’ and therefore not necessary to upgrade to the parcel fee. I did not win. LOL
Response: I was definitely worried it would be smooshed - was my paranoia that obvious? LOL I'm glad it made it there safely.
And as for the monsters, I had 2 of those and wondered if you could find a way to turn them into halloweenie characters for an ATC or something. :)
Response: Quite honestly I already had about half of the soundtrack ready to go before creating the swap, so it's kind of like I cheated. But then I gave myself more time to listen to new (to me) music and found some tracks that also really worked. It was a fun challenge but it took me far too much brain power to set up scenes. Glad you enjoyed it. :)
Response: There should be one in one of the top pockets. I remember writing it, I’m sorry you can’t find it. :(
Response: I’m hoarding the Halloween bags because they are so cute. They come out with a new design each year and they’re always adorable; I’m really glad you liked them. When I saw the glitter confetti I totally thought of you so I had to get it!
Thank you, again, for setting up our swap. :) :)
Response: Hey neighbor, glad you enjoyed it. :)
Response: No worries, it was a great experience to stretch my tarot spirit a bit. It also inspired me to pick up a new deck and I’m so excited to try them out soon. Maybe it’s time for a new tarot swap. :)
Response: Oh awesome! Ya, I just sat at work and colored for a bit as a break. I should do that more often - it was really quite relaxing. :)
Response: Just a basic acrylic in copper color. I think I got it on sale at Michael’s. :)
Response: I’m glad you like her; now I want to make a bunch more. I didn’t realize they were so addicting! LOL
Response: I’m glad you enjoyed it. I’m really looking forward to everyone’s too!
Response: You’re most welcome! :)
Response: Thanks! Hope all is well with you. :)
Response: Ooooh, fun. You’re gonna have a blast!
Response: I know - right??
Response: Oh good! I’m looking forward to seeing everyone else’s soundtracks. :)
Response: Me too! I love blasting My Body Hurts while driving. Because it usually does, lol.
Response: Weren’t those deer adorable? I basically made the PL around them. Thank goodness for Tim Holtz. Ha
Response: Oh yay! Did it smell like coffee and cinnamon still like I hoped/planned? :)
Response: Yes, this was a lovely swap idea. I’m really excited to try out the ones I received too. Thank you SO much for hosting. :)
Response: Thanks Lady P! :D
Response: Glad you enjoyed it! It was fun putting together. :)
Response: That was a lot quicker than I thought it’d be to get to you!
And good, about the exploding sequins. My mother in law always includes confetti in her cards and I always love it, so thought I would try with yours. Tee hee! Glad I’m not the only one who gets a kick out of it. :)
Response: If the envelope was either purple or mango then it likely came from Target (I wish I was that talented!). That said I’ve been a crazy envelope making monkey last month so who knows. I really need to start taking photos of my stuff so I can answer these types of Q’s.
And yay, thank you so much for the feedback. I had such a fun time putting it together over the course of a few days. It was on my desk and whenever I walked by I would look at it, tilt my head like a puppy, and then randomly add something to it like a little magpie. I’m just glad it showed up still intact! lol
Hope to see you again soon in another swap! :D
Response: My pleasure. I couldn’t tell if you were into Halloween or not, so thought that mail and/or floral was a good theme to fall back on just in case. :)
Response: To be totally honest, I wasn’t entirely sure that it would *ever* show up. LOL Glad it did; my faith in postal-carrying humanity is restored. ;)
Response: I thought they were adorable. They were from a Lawn Fawn set - maybe last year and the year before that? I figured you could use them on a card, pocket letter coming up, etc. glad they’re getting some use! :)
Response: Oh yay! You know, I’d been holding onto that for some reason and when I read your profile, I was like ‘hmm, I wonder what she’ll use it for’, at least I’m hoping you get some out out of it. It was fun to put together and I thank you for your patience. The mailing situation was a bit temultuous last week I’m afraid. I hope to see you in another swap soon!
Response: Oh wonderful. You know, I’d never even used those stamps before using it on the outside envelope. I liked how it looked so much I made two more large papers and have colored it various colors for their swaps. That’s why I love these challenges, I NEVER would have realized what a sentiment goldmine I was sitting on without it. Glad you evejoyed it. :)
Response: You be your sweet ass we can be friends and swap music. Also have you seen the monthly type 1 playlist swaps? They’re bitchin’. I’ll email you my first three Spotify playlists so you can catch up. So glad you liked it! I actually received this autumn trees postcard the day I mailed your package and was bummed I couldn’t include it. Sad face.
Response: Awesome! Putting things together is half the fun! ;) Glad you enjoyed it!
Response: The you, my friend, have excellent taste. ;)
Response: Aww yay! I’m so glad you enjoyed it! I hope you keep doing these swaps so I can get a peek your playlist too! :)
Response: Oh yay! I’m glad. Hopefully one of these days we will be matched on your end. I bet you’ll have stuff I totally love. :)
Response: Again, SO sorry about the postage. Guess my goodies got a little overboard size wise...
Response: Haha, consider it Creative Freedom. ;) PS. I have your postcard ready to ship home to you but I keep missing the collab swaps! Oy. You’ll get it back on #15. Sorry for the hold up!!
Response: Thank you! It was fun to put together. And good luck with everything. I look forward to good news soon. :)
Response: Hi Jean, my absolute pleasure. I’m only sorry that I didn’t have any Chewbacca paper. ;)
Response: Oh yay! I’m glad it made it there safe. And thank you for hosting the swap. I loved making the flipbook and can only get better with practice so keep them coming! :)
Response: My pleasure! It was fun putting it together. :)
Response: My pleasure; I hope there was something new on there that you enjoyed. :)
Response: I’ve been quietly stalking Blair’s page to see how her pregnancy is going. Trust me: I too am obsessed. Maybe too obsessed? Lol
