The picture reminds me of the University of California in Sacramento....the building looks very similar to the way that the library on campus used to look. . I love the jellyfish washi!!! Comment: What a coincidence - I finished The Three Body Problem trilogy just last year! This series was sweeping in scope; the whole thing was amazing and brought on the curious feeling of being less than a speck in the scheme of the universe. I mean even less than I already felt. Put's worrying about what to cook for dinner in perspective. And thanks for the postcard, too!
Response: It was amazing! Definitely made me want to read more non-western science fiction. I actually just got a collection of Chinese science fiction short stories (collected by the translator of the 1st and 3rd books in the 3body trilogy!) out of the library, which I'm very excited to read. :)

Response: Thank you! I mostly use prismacolour chisel tips. I've tried their brush tips, and they're decent, but I find the chisels work better for the types of things I do. I've used Pitt markers (the small ones), but I find they don't blend at all with my other markers and it's really hard to get an even fill with them. I have a couple copic sketch markers, which I really like - having a chisel and brush is what I want! They're so expensive though...

I'm really big on making use of what I have and recycling so I used that scrapbooking paper you sent to make a sturdy envelope and sakura sticker flakes https://imgur.com/gallery/rTQW1!
This was awesome but I feel bad that you used so much postage! I think you could have gotten away with just one stamp.
Response: Glad you liked it! The permanent stamps are actually about 5 years old - I bought a roll years ago and never used it up. It's so cool to see how you used the paper -thanks for showing me! I probably could have got away with one stamp, but I weighed it and it was over the 30g one stamp limit, so I thought I'd better be on the safe side.

Comment: Love the invisible jellyfish! What did you use for the effect? I have been experimenting with the "liquid frisket" my wife gave me for my birthday in this swap and yours reminded me a little of the texture I'm seeing in mine. Very nice! I also really liked all the little extras you added in there - thank you!
Response: For the background, I used stamped ink pads, washed it out with water, and added a bit of salt. The jellyfish are just painted on with mod podge, the "gloss" kind :)

Response: You don't actually have to be good or fast at knitting/crochet to yarn bomb! If you make things beforehand you can attach them by sewing them on or even using zipties. I like to keep any swatches I make or projects, and use those - there's always somewhere a tag will fit :P
