They are so nicely done that you almost don't care what the recipe is, but they both look really scrummy. To me there is something so comforting and slower paced about coffee cakes.

The pumpkins are absolutely beautiful - I cannot believe you made them yourself, the recipe so wonderfully made (and yummy sounding) and the dishcloths and coaster are great as well (particularly the orange one with the pumpkin). I look forward to sipping my spiced cider, putting my mug down on the warm and fuzzy coaster and gazing at those pumpkins for inspiration :)

Response: I'm so glad you liked it! I just remembered what the elastic was actually from. It was the part that hangs up the car air freshener. I recycled the air freshener as well!

BTW, in Texas, where we usually live, mistletoe grows wild. Ranch kids from the Hill Country bundle it up and sell it on the street.
