Comment: I, too, love Columbines - they are so vibrant yet delicate looking. I've been in Colorado when they're in bloom and they are just gorgeous. Thanks for the pretty and informative PC and I hope you're having a great week ~~
Comment: I agree with you 100% about this PC -- it is definitely in need of an antibiotic! It rather reminded me of blood drops on paper and then I noticed the faces --- whoever came up with it needs serious help. Thanks for sharing (I think) and thanks for your patience awaiting my rating.
Comment: You forgot to write your username but luckily you had swap name so I knew it was from you. Cute envelope. I enjoyed reading the swap. I realized a little bit ago you send me ptta-W. Lol. You'll hear from me again soon. 😹
Comment: What a wonderful selection of PCs you chose to send me - thank you so much and also thank you for hosting this great swap. It's always fun to get rid of PCs you've looked at a zillion times and always more fun to get so many new ones :-) Thanks again so much ~~
Comment: Hi Melyssa! Love, love, love this sweet doggie pc! It is just so awesome! We are dog folks as well - we have always had dogs and they are just like family you get to pick! LOL! Sweet puppy love to Cosmo and Daphne! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)

Comment: Hi Melyssa! Thanks for the cool Golden pc! I think we visited the Coors brewery many moons ago and enjoyed it! Best wishes for your daughter on her engineering career! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: Thank you so much for the beautiful pocket letter. I would never have guessed it was your first one. I loved the colors and the little surprises in the back. I also enjoyed your letter. It is perfect.
Response: Whew! Glad you liked it. Thank you so much for the 5 + heart!
Comment: What a dream postcard you created! Thank you. I love the stamps! I understand that you do not like Pollock's works - to me they seem to be more works of therapy than art - he made them in struggle against alcoholism...
Comment: Great PC. . . I went to the Denver Zoo too-many-to-count years ago - I'm sure it's changed by now! I love this PC and bet the holiday zoo lights is fantastic. I enjoyed this swap and did miss 2 letters. . . Z was one of them and then another one that I just missed the sign-up date. Thanks again for the great PC and happy swapping ~~
Comment: Thank you Melyssa for the beautiful & so pretty postcard you sent to me for the swap! Pretty collage of items with butterflies, ribbon, bird, etc., you are fortunate to have this collection of cards. Yes, I love the magazine "Daphne's Diary" also. I bought a copy of this magazine at my local Barnes & Noble book store. Fun swap!
Comment: Oh, those community mailboxes! The city here doesn't make it a priority to plough out in front of them so people cannot always get to their mail in the winter. Crazy! Thx for the pretty art PC. (";)
Comment: Melyssa...Thanks for the "Colorful Colorado" PC....I know exactly where Westminister is..I used to live in Aurora...it is a beautiful state..we loved the Estes Park area (friends had a cabin there.) My guys are still BIG Bronco fans :) I also want to mention the cool round batman forever stamp...that is the first one I've ever seen!!...Charlene
Comment: Thanks Melyssa -- I used to see Bald Eagles when I lived in S FL & drove a little inland/away from the coast. I am sure they are around here (Northern Alabama) just haven't noticed any, I guess. Great card!
Comment: Yes, I love Lemurs too! Glad to read you & your daughter went to Denver Zoo. Imagine it was a fun trip! Thank you for the "laid back lemur" postcard view you sent to me for the swap. Fun swap!
Comment: Loved the PC - sometimes you just have the perfect one in your stash that you think you'll never use and then suddenly there's the perfect swap! I found it so interesting since I grew up in the 50s and 60s and this actually brought back some memories for me. Thanks again and hope to see you more in 2015 ~~
Comment: Thanks for the Iowa PC - went into my collection. I grew up in South Dakota and have been to Iowa many, many times. . . great state with very friendly people. Thanks again for the PC and have a great Thanksgiving ~~
Comment: Wow! Thank you for this cool pc!! I have to admit that I love the stamps more than the picture on the front, but hey! I think the Batman stamp is so awesome! Then followed by a Hermione stamp! Too cool.. You're like a stamp goddess.
Thank you so much <3 <3 Have a great day!
Comment: Hello Melyssa & thank you for sending me the Blue themed postcard for the swap! Wow, you got to go to the Japanese Botanical Gardens in Portland, Oregon! The meaning of the landmarks, the rock-like islands in the artwork, I know as a temple - holy site on largest rock - island & a "rope - bridge" leading to it from smaller rock. Quite a tough journey to get there! Happy November to you! Fun swap!
Comment: Great job! I love these swaps too. I am always cutting stuff out, especially when I am bored or watching TV. Your dogs are cute. I have a sweet little rescue mix myself. Thanks for being a great partner
Comment: Thank you for the map postcard, with all of the cool stamps & stickers! I'm glad you are enjoying your autumn so far. If I could have back 2-3 hours of sunshine at the end of the day, I would be thrilled, too! ;)
Comment: Thanks for the wonderful postcard. Good to know I can easily drive there the next time I visit Denver, and that there's not much to do. It sounds like my husband's hometown of Stevens Point, WI. I still have a visit to Point Brewery on my to-do list though I can't convince anyone in his family to go with me.
Comment: I love the owly PC you sent me! Beautiful. My bf volunteers at Audubon and feeds baby owlettes, he takes pix of the baby great horns to show me, they are so poofy and cute! Ive only seen an owl in the wild once so far. Thankyou!
Response: Your bf has a dream job!! I'd love that. Glad you liked the card! Thank you so much for the rating and heart! :-)
Comment: Thank you and Happy August to you! We don't have prairie dogs here. The last time we were 'out west' we were one of many tourists parked by the road watching prairie dogs. Quite comical!
Response: Many consider them pests here because they are so prevalent, even living on street boulevards. They are pretty much everywhere but I love watching them at the library. There are huge windows facing open landscape and they run around out there so cute. Thank you for the rating and heart!
Comment: HA HA! I LOVE IT! the "butter pussy fly" AMAZING! I had NO IDEA! when I first looked at the postcard I thought "what a beautiful butterfly!" then I read the back and said to myself, "huh wonder why it's called "butter pussy fly" then I looked at the picture again! HA HA! LOVE IT! everytime I see a butterfly now I'm going to think of the postcard! Thank you so much for sending it! best wishes to you <3
Response: Oh good, glad you appreciate the bizarre humor of it. It cracked me up but I'd been nervous to send it to anyone. LOL Thank you for the rating and heart!
Comment: Love, love, love your Mail Art Postcard! You did such an awesome job! Just looking at it relaxed me, (smile) so calming. I've done a few, but really still new at it. I agree they are so fun to make. Your message is so neatly written it looks as if it was typed!! Love the bird, butterflies and flower stickers you put on it! Again, awesome job, keep creating. Thanks so very much, Judy
Response: Thank you so much for the rating and heart. I was going for a zen vibe so am glad that came across. LOL Happy swapping!
Comment: Hello Melyssa! Thank you for the Colorado Mountain Lions postcard you sent to me for the swap! Loved the photo of the Mom Mtn Lion "Grrr, we were here first!," & the Baby "Yea, Grrr, Grrr, Grrr!" Wow, Denver is "wild" like Florida, Mtn Lion near your house! I stay watchful around our local ponds, lakes, there I love watching the dragonflies, problem is large mosquitoes. Sit in my car & watch dragonflies dine on them on my front car hood. Best Wishes to you for a happy summer!
Response: Thank you so much! Yeah, we are in the 'burbs but there is a TON of wildlife right around here all the time. We also get coyotes that run through our streets and yards at night so have to be careful when out with my little dogs at night. It's wonderful and crazy all at the same time.
Comment: Melyssa I LOVE your card! It is a lesson in creativity for me. Thank you very much :) and also thanks for the wonderful papers. Yours was a totally outstanding envelope to open and made me feel so glad.
Response: Thank you very much for the rating and heart! I am so glad you liked it.
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful collection of ATCs! You have a wonderful style, and I love what you've created. Your packaging is also superb!
Response: Thank you so much for the rating and heart! I was so nervous about this particular swap because I've never done one before, and since they were all my own cards wasn't sure how it would go over. Whew. LOL Have a great day!
Comment: Thank you for the cute card, love chipmunks we had some but they lost out to our cat. He was a great hunter and wanted no one in his yard we put pvc pipes down for chipmunks but he would wait them out. thank you for the card
Comment: Love the racoon postcard and racoon story LOL I lived in NYC now I live in the country at first the cow sounds across from me scared me. one thing I notice in NY the birds do not chirp at night, here in Tn they chirp all night long I enjoyed this swap alot :)
Comment: I've flown into and out of DIA a couple of times within a couple of years of it's opening and it certainly was different than the old airport (which I'd flown into and out of numerous times)!. Luckily my trips started and stopped there as I would not have wanted to try to make connections because it is (as you said) HUGE! It certainly is a very unique looking building - almost like some type of UFO :-) Thanks for the great PC - it brought back some wonderful memories for me.
Comment: Thanks for the great PC! It is perfect! I love the stickers and the stamps too. My son was stationed at Colorado Springs and I got to visit your city a few times. It is beautiful there. Hugs from Alaska, Sherry
Comment: Great ideas for your wish list. I liked the idea of naming it for Christmas, birthday, Mother's Day, whatever. I especially liked the idea of the miniature mailbox for snail mail in your fairy garden. Sweeet! thank you for sharing with me.
Happy Spring & Bunny Hugs,
Comment: I have a set that I was so very excited to use, that's why I created the swap! So I am glad that others take advantage of it too :) Thanks so much for the postcard!! It has a funny title like my riskay ones!
Comment: Hi Melyssa!! Thank you so much for the beautiful swap! The card and envelope are amazing! The mermaid is so beautiful and then the horses below and the entire card has me enthralled. I have never seen a card like that! I had to look up what an English Budgie is and I think it is a bird! Too cute! I think both names you picked are great! :) I bet your dogs are still thinking "what in the world??!!" has moved in!! Too funny! I looked up the mermaids show too and that looks great! If you think to keep my address, I would love to hear all about it when you get back! Thank you so much for your very thoughtful swap. I have already used a couple of my stickers and I have pinned the cute little mouse card to the board in my sewing room! It is too cute to mail out, so I am keeping it for myself!! :) Thanks again for putting so much time into our swap! Great way to kick off my spring!!
Comment: Such a lovely winter illustration PC! I think many across the US feel the same about having to knit continuous scarves to ward off the snow! We have had beautiful weather the past several days - in the 60s - but tonight it's dropping down and we're, once again, expecting 3-5 inches of snow. . . and I'm hoping this is the last for this season! Thanks for the lovely PC. . . and stay warm!
Comment: Thank you for the gorgeous postcard of the Botanic Gardens in Denver during Christmas - I wish I could see it in person! I'll bet you love living in Colorado? I lived there for a few years back in the early 70's, and didn't want to leave, but when the Army says go - you go. I spent a few days in Fargo when I was a kid - did you know North Dakota is booming? But there's a shortage of women. ;o) Here's to being of Norwegian/German descent! :oD
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful dragonfly PC! How fun it would be to live by a butterfly pavilion - your gift recipients must be thrilled by the fun finds you get at their gift shop! Happy March to you!!! ♥♥♥
Comment: Thank you for your card of the Denver International Airport. Brings back fun memories with my husband in 2004. And your story reminds me of my first ride in a small Cessna over the Grand Canyon. Only I was older than you are now and they put me in the front seat by the pilot and I got sick. On the way back I rode behind him with plenty of air and gave the video camera to my husband.
Comment: Melyssa- Thanks for the great postcard! I love it! To answer your question: No, I have not ever had a chance to own a bird. I did want one for a little while, but I've had cats all my life...and that might be a problem lol But I would love a talking parrot!
Comment: Beautiful PC. . . I love Colorado! My brother lived there for over 25 years and I've visited there numerous times over the last 40 years - it is one of my favorite states. Thanks for the beautiful PC and happy swapping ~~
Comment: Thank you for the Colorado snow postcard. I'm with you about skiing! I have no interest whatsoever and much prefer looking at the snow from inside a toasty warm house. We had snow here in PA yesterday and the day before. The ground is covered and the trees are flocked with fluff. It really is beautiful!
Comment: Multiple hearts for you!! What a beautiful postalette. I love owls. And the stickers too, they are amazing, thank you so much. I hope your Thanksgiving visit will be wonderful, I wish you all the best in your new home. Thank you for your nice letter, and I hope we will swap again in 2014 :-)
Comment: Great PC of the stadiums in Denver! I've been to Denver so many times over 40+ years and it is one of my favorites places to visit. . . I went to games in the Mile High Stadium but haven't been in any of the ones on the PC! Thanks for the great PC and have a wonderful Thanksgiving ~~
Comment: Thanks for the lovely note about your "first encounter" and those that followed. We have seen quite a few of them this year so yes, I have seen them up close and personal. The notecard itself was quite lovely. Thanks again!
Comment: Thank you so much for the beautiful postalettes. I can see how they would be addicting. These are wonderful. I was not aware they sold these and would love to know where you found them. Thanks again and hope you have a great Thanksgiving as well.
Response: You're welcome! Thanks for the rating and heart! I found some of them on Ebay...I think the peacock and bright owls in particular. And the others were from Amazon. There are so many more I want to buy! LOL :-)
Comment: Thanks so much for the super cute card and fun stickers. I've gotten tons of fun stickers and I LOVE them!!! 6 containers of Halloween stuff sounds absolutely wonderful. How incredible and lovely. I love Halloween. Have fun!!
Comment: Thank you for this fun swap! I loved the stickers you added to embellish both the envie & inside of the card - and the Toy Story stamp was a wonderful addition too! I loved the original card you sent - I don't think I've ever seen one like it before. :) The hilarious thing is that you sent me the exact same stickers as another swap partner for this swap, which is totally awesome for me since I happen to love them!!
Comment: Thanks for the pretty postcard...and your note describing how you feel about Saturdays. It's how I feel about too many babysitting days...hate the commitment, but love the time with the children.
Response: Thank you so much for the heart with your rating. Have a great day!
Comment: Hi Melyssa: Thanks so much for the beautiful butterfly postcard. It is so pretty. I also really enjoyed your message on the back all about Fall. You put a smile on my face with this swap...thank you! Happy October, Happy Fall & of course, Happy Swapping! Carol :)
Response: You're welcome, and thank you for the rating/heart.
Comment: This was really a lovely surprise - the envelope was so colorful and with actual stamps; and inside were two extra cards and a sheet of stickers, all of which I absolutely loved. Absolutely ADORED the delicate bird card you included as an extra - beautiful enough to frame. I also really enjoyed reading your card with more than a sentence or two. Thank you!
Comment: Totally LOVE this postcard, Melyssa! And your neat penmanship, the extra touch of butterfly stickers and flower stickers, the pretty green ink penned writing, AND the "Love" stamp! made this postcard extra special. Thank you for reading my profile and making a simple postcard so special with your sweet touches. :)
Comment: Your lovely envie in my mail made my day! So pretty with the large return address label featuring flowers, butterfly and bird, and then the lovely butterfly stickers you had fluttering all over the envie. One even made it inside the notecard! Thank you for the extra special touches. Thank you for the stickers and extra notecard enclosed, also. A simple swap done with FLAIR - thank you!
Response: You're welcome. Thank you for the rating and the heart. Glad you liked it. :-)
Comment: Hey Melyssa! :) Got your BEAUTIFUL mermaid PC today and I just love it! Your stickers were also cute! Haha, that is so funny that your BFF lives in my town (and you lived in Erie)! Craziness! :) Awww, you sound like a very cool mom to let your daughter get a purple streak in her hair - awesome! I love it. Take care and thanks again :)
Response: You're welcome. Thank you for the rating and heart!
Comment: Thank you for the excellent card, I love old fairy tales and the art that goes with them. I'm more of a fall-spring girl I like it when the air is still a little crisp. Summer is probably my least favorite season.
Response: You're welcome! Thank you for the heart and rating!
Comment: Melyssa, what a cute ATC and the card is also beautiful.. I'm starting my second altered book, "bird" theme. Both are going in my book. And thank you for the other goodies. Can't buy 'em here so really appreciated. Happy Easter. Coleen in Ukraine
Response: You're welcome and thank you so much for the rating and heart.
Comment: Your greatest fear is health?! Would that I had that problem! I kid, I kid. I'm chronically ill, so I'm assuming you meant something like 'bad health' or 'illness'. :) But maybe I'm wrong! Hehe. We both joined out of curiosity, yay! And I will tell you what I told my other partner who ran from a swarm of bees too: when they are swarming, they are SO mellow because they have eaten a lot and are basically moving house. So you could stand in the center of a swarm and they would just ignore you. :D
Response: It's hard with one word but specifically my child's health, I want her to always be healthy, going through some (hopefully) minor issues right now that have really made me stop and think about this seriously for the first time. Thank you for the heart!
Comment: Wow, you and I had a lot of the same answers! I love that you would name your robot Jeeves. And yes, you HAVE to go whitewater rafting! I have only got to do it once but it was probably the best fun I have ever had. I didn't want to ever stop lol.
Response: I'm not very outdoorsy and too lazy for hiking but I love boating and being on the water and so I think I could enjoy rafting. Thanks for the heart!
Comment: Thanks for the beautiful PC! I appreciate all the pretty butterfly stamps too. I love living in Alaska! Beautiful vistas, great working weather all year round, huge returns on vegetable gardens, exotic animals and birds, and a wonderful melting pot of customs and people. The ocean is fantastic. Love my adopted state!!! Hugs from Alaska, Sherry
Comment: Thanks for the great postcard! If it didn't say Washington on it, I never would have guessed there. When I think of wineries, I think of California, although we do have some in Texas. :)
Response: Before moving here I never knew either! I thought it was all mountains and evergreens and rain but nope! We are actually in a semi arid steppe climate complete with massive amounts of tumbleweedsl LOL Thanks for the heart. :-)
Comment: WWWAAAAWWWW!!!!! Melyssa! Your wanderful package came today.... (postoffices....) IT is soooo testful and thoughtful and useful and beautiful... I have no words....Thank you so much for the great ATCs and the extras, I wish I could give you more hearts.
Response: Thank goodness it finally arrived! I am glad you liked it all so well.
Comment: Thank you for the great package and lovely note! I love all the lavender things you sent and you did an OUTSTANDING job of wrapping and packing. The ribbons were all so gorgeous! The notecard is so beautiful. Happiest of holiday seasons to you, fellow lavender-lover! -- Susan
Comment: Oh. My. Gosh!!!! I wish I could give you a thousand stars!!!!
This package is the best swap bot package I've ever gotten!!! Thank you SOOOOO MUCH! I love everything! It was a wonderful surprise!
Response: Wow, you are so welcome! I was nervous about sending it out because I'd never done a box or theme swap before. Whew. LOL
