Comment: More than half of the envies weren't decorated in a holiday or winter theme, as was a stated requirement in the swap. Sorry, but purple, black, grey, taupe etc - not holiday colors. I gave you a chance to resend only the envies that didn't meet the requirement, empty since I wasn't expecting any additional "goodies" - but you refused. And btw, I think what you & the coordinator did in this swap is completely despicable - including you taking the liberty of uploading MY picture to your Flickr account without my knowledge or consent. BAD FAITH.
Response: I'm sorry that you feel that way. I wish that your incredible artistic talent influenced your compassion for other people. I have received beautiful things from you and have been honored to get them. But, I am not as talented as you, I do the best I can and the picture I posted on my Flickr was not an insult to you, it was a fair opportunity for people to view what the actual send was and have the individual decide. It was not deceitful. So, no, not bad faith. It was my art, my creativity, my swap to you. The majority of the people who responded felt that it was holiday themed. Anyone who felt it was not had an opportunity to post. Chrissy, I am so sorry that you are unhappy about what I sent to you. The coordinator agreed that what I sent met requirements. So, there was no need for a resend. I am disappointed that you rated me a three. It was a personal rating, and does not meet with Swap-bot guidelines for rating. (We don't rate because we don't like it.) I hope whatever is going on in your life gets better in the New Year. You certainly deserve wonderful things to happen to you, because of your talent, you have a very loving and gifted heart, that needs to come out. Response: I'm glad you like it... the alcohol ink i made was simply markers (the ink pad inside) soaked in a spray bottle with alcohol. Shake it really good and you've got spray inks! My son taught me this... a little graffiti trick I guess! Depending on the amount of alcohol you use, will determine the brightness of the color. I recommend wearing plastic gloves though... it;s very messy! Hope you try it! Have fun! Oh btw... I buy little spray bottles at the dollar store for this.. they are about 2 or 3 ounces.

Comment: Interesting comment about the date you used because when I saw the card a book I had read about Paris came flooding back to me. There was some French revolution that they actually used hot air balloons to get foreign diplomatics out of Paris during a siege. Of course the date had escape my memory bank and I assumed it was accurate until I read your note. Liked the use of vellum in this card.

I lost a friend in the May 20th tornado, and several friend's of mine lost their homes. My husband has been in a bit of a slump since a 30% pay cut and loss of benefits with his job in Jan... you know the score.. having to look and interview and hope and pray... still thanking God for the blessing of a job still... Your thinking of him and sharing something you had was so perfectly timed and generous. In the years that I have traded with swapbot, it was a first that something came for him. Thank you. He is such a sweetheart, we gave up cable, phone, soda, sweets, any 'extra" to meet our lower budget but he wont let me give up swapbot! I am sticking to US only ones..but what a guy. Thank you for helping me celebrate him. I plan to mat and frame what you sent. It is perfect. Thank you and a million hearts.<3

Comment: Hi, Kathleen, your ATC "Stamp It" is really lovely! It's obvious that you put a lot of effort into creating this lovely card. The addition of a metal butterfly and the extra attention you paid to colouring the stamped butterflies show that you really care about your work. I like the fact that you added a included a nice note and even added some stamped images to it! The big surprise was that you sealed the envelope with my initial and and a ladybug--my nickname is Globug!!
