Response: So glad you liked the postcard, I wish I bought more when I found that one! Interesting also when considering the size of the countries to note that the middle of Australia is desert and not many people live there.

I read all of yours to my hubby and he liked the one about the vegetable. I had put corn on my list too. Iowa is known as the Corn State. The blue gingham checked kitty was the cutest. Loved how you said some of them looked like strays, in my kitchen I have a wooden sign that say, STRAYS WELCOME HERE. I would love to display them and will come up with just the right place. I know how it feels tro have a parent abandon you at an early age. Mine did too...luckily I was reunited with her long enough before she died when I was 18. I was 8 months pregnant and the baby only kicked for her.

Response: according to my records I sent you some verses. its strange tht the others got theirs adn you ddint get yours when i sat down nd took care of them , you never messaged me or metioned it to me that you didnt get anything. if you had of sent me a quick note I would have resent the verses for you. i am sorry that for some reasong yours didnt make it into your email box but I did send them. At that time I read every book the Birmingham library system had on Australia. So, I know that there is alot of difference from one region to another--just like here in the states.
