Comment: Haven't tried Trader Joes tea (none around me), can't wait to try it. And the dessert is right up my alley. Yum! I live at the orchard in September. I LOVE the recipe cards. I haven't found any as pretty as yours around here. The foil one- oooh la la. Love. And the stationary and matching envelope- love also. Did you order these online?
Response: I am glad you like the recipe cards. I find them all over the place, estate sales, thrift stores, Michael's craft store, some I have haf since 7th grade cooking classes. Enjoy!
Comment: Brenda....LOVE the ATC you sent! Very creative! I loved to climb trees when I was young too....I don't see kids doing that anymore! Sometimes there would be 3-4 of us in the neighborhood sitting in the same tree!
Comment: First, let me say that I wish I could give you more than one heart! Thank you so much for the generous swap package. I totally love everything (and so does Laci). I wish we had a thrift store around here where I could find such great stuff, especially the ric rac. It was so interesting to see the price difference on those packages. I think perhaps the labels in them qualify for "ephemera!" Thank you for also including the Faith Notes and Mary Engelbreit notepad! The embellishments and sticky notes are very pretty! You've been an amazing swap partner. Wishing you a blessed and beautiful springtime!
Comment: Thank you, Brenda! I certainly am going to try your recipe, it sounds yummy and husband loves meatballs. Love the recipe cards. Just can't have too many of them. Hope a swap will come up for recipe cards. Have a wonderful Easter and God Bless! Happy Swapping!
Comment: Thank you for the 40-year-old postcard - I would never have guessed! Your mouse has found a good home here. S/he looks familiar - I wonder if we have any ornaments with this character. Enjoy your holidays!
Comment: aww... what a WONDERFUL Christmas tradition you have... Absolutely the best I have ever heard of... I wish for a very special Holiday season....enjoy decorating and thank you for the lovely card!
Comment: Thank you for telling me something of your Christmas preparations. I enjoyed reading about a busy but fun part of your life. Wow ~ 7 themed Christmas trees! amazing. :o) it would be great to see ~ Merry Christmas!
Comment: Thank you for nice Christmas card. I .ove the traditions you do with your grand kids. It sounds like you and your grand kids really enjoy the holidays. Hope you and your family have a great holiday season.
Comment: Thanks for the Snowman card, my first card of the year! Because of this, I could not hold back and started putting out Christmas decorations! I am not hosting Thanksgiving this year so I figured 'Why not?'.......... Enjoy the holidays!
Comment: Thank you for the card which is making me hungry! I think giving to local charities is fantastic, and definitely agree that no one should go hungry when we supposedly live in the land of plenty as you say. Have a Merry Christmas!
Comment: Hello Brenda! I love the pc! The cardinal is really special especially since I live in St. Louis and I am a Cards fan. It is too bad they did not win the World Series this year. Oh, well, maybe next time. Thanks so much for the card - no pun intended!! :)
Comment: Hi! TY for the love card! I am so happy that you will be sharing your day with folks you enjoy! Hope you get to feeling better soon! Wishing you and yours a very Happy Holiday season, full of family, friends, fun and of course, good food! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: Thank you for re-sending the package that the Post Office kicked around!
I really LOVE all that you sent to me! The lovely things for my altar, the beautiful postcards, delicious teas & of course the note cards!
I wish you and your wife all the love & happiness this world can bring you and that you can give to each other.
Thank you again & best wishes to you & yours! :o)
Comment: Thank you for the postcard and the extras! :) We had our first snow just some weeks ago, but then the rain came again and it melted. Since then it has been raining every day. I hope you're having a great week! :)
Comment: Thank you so much for the lovely ATC with a flower on the antique sheet music. I love the message of peace and appreciated you writing a nice letter to go with it. Thank you for swapping with me. :)
Comment: I think one of the most unique ATC's I have received thus far. And if you could have seen my reaction once I actually spied the Dodo sticker...like a child getting a new special toy. I will treasure it. Thank you
Comment: Aw, thanks Brenda! I just love jack-o-lanterns♥ and the recipe cards are fantastic! :D Ha ha, yes -I keep adding to my profile whenever I think of something (so glad you like it....it can get be a bit lengthy for most, but I love swapping so much! And am continually learning new things ♥♥♥) Wishing you a spooktacular Halloween! Hee hee
Comment: Thank you Brenda, so much, for this cute baby animal PC! We have them up here in Alaska too, but I have not seen a PC with them on it! Perfect to add to my Birdie PC collection! Hugs from Alaska, Sherry
Comment: Ugh! I am having problems this week resisting buying things that I really do not need. On my list are MORE Staples Arc notebooks (I already have a pile, and it should not matter that they are on sale), a used Kindle (the "free" books they will lend you actually require a $70 kindle and a $79 prime account), and a Keurig coffee maker (I get along fine with my teeny tiny french press and I do NOT have counter space for an appliance). So, your pumpkin spice Keurig card is testing my resolve! ;) But I did get a smile from your shiny spider stickers!
Comment: Thank you for the recipe. Also thank you for the extra cards. I do believe if we lived close to each other we would be in trouble with my husband going to estate sales and buying recipe cards and old cookbooks. LOL What a cleaver idea decorating your kitchen Christmas tree with recipe cards. Happy Fall and Happy Swapping to you also.
Comment: <3 CA Horse Country. I grew up in So Cal- I loved visiting all the horses though. LOL 80 degrees and crisp mornings. . . I remember that- now I think of 50 degrees as crisp, and I'm in a t-shirt, when 50 degrees used to mean down jackets. I miss that awesome CA weather!
Comment: thank you SO much for the great Halloween card and PCs!! They're all new to me and the vintage one is SO cute. I'll definitely be stashing that safely away! Have a wonderful Autumn and thank you again!
Comment: OMG, best swap ever!!!!!!!!!! This licorice is so delicious and I can't get a variety like this here in Rio Rancho. You scored big time. Thank you sooooooo much:) Dozens of hearts for you! I must not forget the amazing prison PC as well. Haven't seen it before. Thanks again.
Comment: Thank you for the cute card! Those puppies are so adorable! My dog is still pretty young, but I know what you mean about when they get a bit older. It's nice when they keep their youthful energy though!
Happy early, early birthday :)
Comment: Thank you for you letter. I had fun reading it. I loved the paper you used. Thank you for the beautiful postcards as well. I am also allergic to bees, not fond of eggs, don't like spiders or snakes. I also like butterflies. Baking and cooing is my favourite and I love fruit. Nothing can keep me away from licking the bowl of cake mixes.
Comment: Brenda, your ATC is SO pretty! I just LOVE it. One of my absolute favorites. Autumn is my favorite, too, and being a new sewer, I have much appreciation for your fabric addiction!! Thank you sooooo much!!!!
Comment: What AWESOME photos!! I really enjoyed seeing them! Thanks also for the extra notecards...very thoughtful. Also, it really meant a lot to me that you checked out my blog and shared some comments!! YOU ROCK!!!!!!!! :-)
Response: I am so glad you liked them. This swap was a lot of fun. I have started collecting the buttons I want to use to make the button flowers you have on your blog. This will stay in my sewing/hobby room.
Comment: Thanks so much for the Halloween card with all the little detailed trick or treaters, and the postcards, too! I had to laugh at the dogs AND duck one :) I actually went to Buchart Gardens many years ago, so that was fun, too. but my favorite was the photo of your yard! Lucky neighbors!!
Comment: What a wonderful package! I don't have any of those recipe cards. What a clever idea for a Christmas tree in the kitchen. I've used cookie cutters to decorate but never thought to use recipe cards! I love the cards and all of the "extra's".
Response: I so happy you are enjoying them. Have a great holiday season; it's approaching quickly.
Comment: This was a lovely swap. The origami paper was beautiful. Thanks so much. The generic CA PC was really cute. I am actually from Callie and loved getting PC's from there. The stickers were cute too. Thanks again.
Response: That origami paper is one of my favorites I have used to date. Every time I made a crane with the rainbow sheets, each one looked different. Enjoy!
Comment: Thank you for the timely PC! We're heading up to Reno this weekend so IT'S ALONG THE WAY! (Heee.) Usually we stop by Casa de Fruta and/or Gilroy for munchies and to stretch but I'm gonna have to poke hubby about a new stop =)
Comment: Thank you for the awesome Idaho PC! I think it may be my first one - isn't that strange? I have hundreds of cards, but no Idaho! Well, I do now, thanks to you! I hope you have a wonderful day!
Comment: Hello Brenda, I enjoyed the note attached to this swap..I love hearing all about you, and hope that we will be partners again..You send great postcards and I love them all!!!! Thanks for taking the time to read my profile.
Response: I am glad you like the choices of PC's. I hope we can be partners again, maybe a private swap down the road?? Take care.
Comment: Thank you for the GREAT choice of PCS! They are great and very much wall worthy! Thanks for the stickers too! Grandpas celler looks and sounds like a wonderful place to visit! Have a great evening! Thanks so much! :)
Comment: Wow - Where'd you get those recipe cards - They are really pretty - Super thanks for the yummy recipies and the extras. I sure need them. Welcome to S-B ... Hope you're having a fun time here. Thanks again for everything.
Response: I found those recipes cards and several other designs at a store ca;;ed Tuesday Morning. I grabbed everyone they had! Recipe cards are hard to find in stores, easier on line. I am glad you like them.
Comment: Brenda, thanks for your thoughtfulness in choosing a bird postcard. I used to see eagles and their nests when I lived in FL, especially when I drove a bit inland. This is really a beautiful postcard, I appreciate your sharing it w/ me! Thanks for an extra-special swap!
Comment: Hi and thanks for your comment! :) Yes, I'm very organized haha (and I loooove lists)... even to the point that some people are calling me crazy! I always need to plan everything, check things a thousand times... but I, too, can be spontaneous now and then (like once when I thought I'd like to travel somewhere and then just booked the flights in less than 30 minutes!). Have a nice day! :)
Comment: Yes, unfortunately the post office in Brazil is not always efficient and have had some problems with them (negative ratings in swapbot got here because of them that are gone / not sent my envelope). So nothing better than to warn before. Thank you!
Comment: Oh, wow, thank you very much for the very special package!!! You are so generous, to send everything on the list! I absolutely LOVE everything you sent me! The package absolutely made my whole week!!! It is so interesting that we seem to have a lot in common, especially based on the books and music you like. I can go on and on and on, but- more than anything- your doggie Thor as a little puppy is soooo incredibly cute! Those puppy- dog eyes are just so irresistible!!! (*^^*)
Response: I was hoping you would enjoy your package as much as I enjoyed putting it together. Thor is an old man doggie now and just does what he wants, barks at everything and growls at the cat, but I still love his attitude. :)
Comment: I loved your choice of ribbons. the way u mailed them fascinated me, another good idea learned. thanks
Response: I am so happy you received them in one piece! One never knows how these things will arrive. Each ribbon had a story and a memory attached to it for me. Enjoy them and thank you for your nice comment.
