Ugly sweaters have become such a big thing now, haven't they? Loved the ones you included, and the faces of the wearers! LOL! Thanks for a fun swap! PS - loved the washi tape you used for decorations on the envelope; the Santa and reindeers was cute, but those red and white patterns on the back were real eye-catchers!

Response: Glad you liked your tassel. My friend and I do not have an etsy page. She just likes making the dolls. She does not have dolls on the skull website. The molds are used with paper clay for the heads of her dolls. :-)

Comment: I am in awe of this beautiful friendship doll you made for me. She is just stunning. Such dainty, beautiful details and beadwork. Her spirit is perfect for me at this time as I have been making a real effort to make some new friends to balance my otherwise solitude tendencies. I love her and how I can hang her up. How ever do you you sew and stuff such narrow arms and legs ,they are perfectly shaped! Great work on this lovely piece of art. I am so happy to have her in my art collection.

Comment: I like Peaches-I've given it some thought. There really are not such great places for crafts here in town. That Michaels near your parents' place is pretty good better than the one near me. There is a bead store at Durango and Flamingo(same parking as Salvation Army) that i like to visit when I'm on that side of town. I get most of my stuff online for the prices

She is beautifully made, with painted features to die for - I haven't learned yet how to paint doll faces and shoes, and it is so impressive to see the detail you can get with that. But she is so lovely, so well made, and so full of personality - and you even told me where to find the pattern. Thank you very much for absolutely making my day!

I mostly use colored pencils and very fine markers. The white marker is made by uni-ball (signo). I learned a lot about the doll faces from Patti Medaris Culea. She has books too.
