This ATC is simply amazing...the rounded and decoratively punched corners, the gorgeous bit of lace trim at the bottom, and all the sweet embellishments take it to such a wonderful level. I'm so happy I thought to double-check as I was putting ATCs into my binder. Your creativity astonishes me...this is the cutest idea, using the Crayola box with 8 crayons! I was transported back to 3rd grade...so stinkin' adorable! I just love having you as a swap partner, and knowing that you're a fellow Michigander also makes me happy!

Comment: Ah, Sue...how I love this gorgeous rust and gray ATC! Believe it or not, my children had those balls when they were little...I think they had Mickey Mouse faces, and the hopping was such fun for them (and it tired them out eventually, which was a bonus for me)! I agree that rust and gray are a sophisticated combo, and now I have to come up with another color combination that is appealing! Thank you for the beautiful cards...I have such admiration for people who take their art to the next level.

Comment: WOW, I just love how you layered this. It is so nicely done with all the embellishments on it. What did you use as the base, Thank you for the handmade BDay card and the one.

For the base, I used regular card stock for each side, and in between, I sandwiched a thin piece of card board. (like baseball card thin). Often, after doing this, I use one of those sanding sponges to smooth out the edges and make it seem more like one thick piece rather than three thin pieces. Thank you for rating and for the heart. Comment: Your package arrived today, you over did with everything you squeezed into that oversized box. I would say that I came out ahead on this swap. The fabric is very colorful and patterns that I need for men, thank you very much. I would say you just taught me how to be a giver. The flamingo pattern, I may try to make a pair of pj bottoms for myself if you don't care. All that fabric was great and lovely, but the card that you made, that is overwhelming, I love the colors and your design is superior to those that are sold in stores! That will be cherished for along, long time. Has been placed in front of my sewing machine so I can admire the beauty of it. Thank You for the swap, hopefully we will meet again and Shalom aleikhem! It was a bit of a hard swap, but I do like the ones with nemerous partners because you get to see so much artistry in a short time. FYI those images were taken from the computer. If you've never tried it, you can type in sonehing like "free printable images" and the category you want and take it from there. Anyway, I am happy yours arrived safely and that you like them. Comment: YOU are going to laugh when you get my cards... we must have gone to the same place for images LOL... Your cards are beautiful. Its always fun to see how others use similar tools and products. Your copies are much more vivid and so your color choices are different than mine... I just love how wonderful yours turned out! The doily corners are something I will have to remember. I just love your cards and hope mine are as successful as yours. Hearts galore to you my friend!

One time we went to a big lawn and garden show-- you know new products, ideas, contractors, etc. One exhibit was a challenge for artistis to take the same objects which included a length of garden hose, a watering can, certain plants among other things and make an arrangement with them. They hade one hour. It was fascinating to see how different each one was, yet all beautiful. Thank you so much for hosting this swap and for all your trouble getting the "numbers" of it straight. I joined then dropped because I didn't think I could deliver. Then after I did a bit of research and digging I signed back up again and honestly, it was a lot of fun!!!! Not only did I enjoy making them, but, as usual, I am getting wonderful cards in return. I have them clipped with those tiny clothespins to a ribbon that I hung up at work. Those "little darlings" keep me company.:) I love how each atc teaches me something. I am happy you liked what I made. Thank you for your kind words, the rating and the heart. Response: You are quite welcome. I am really happy you liked the nail files. Yes, that is an ATC and I am especially tickled that you liked it. They are pretty simple, although a person could make them as simple or involved as their time and talent allowed. The one standing requirement is the size. They must measure 2.5"x3.5". Sometimes you can find a swap for ATC for people who have never made them. Maybe just measure out some card stock, or even use a playing card as the back and start by making a couple for yourself. Valentine's Day is coming up and who wouldn't like a home made Valentine?Perhaps give them to a few friends? Then when you have a couple under your belt you might feel comfortable joining a swap for ATC's. Like most all swappers, ATC-ers are very kind, so don't worry about if they are "right". As long as an honest effort is made, they will be fine. If you want to do a private swap to get your feet wet with ATC's pm or e-mail me. I would love to do so! I am happy you liked your package. I had reservations about joining a mega swap because of the work involved and I wasn't sure how my work would measure up. I am seeing that so many types of cards are swapped and as long as you put the effort in, well, what's not to love about an ATC? It turns out that I was thrilled to have joined the mega because you see so many interpretations on a theme all at once. I am displaying all my valentine ones at work. I attatched a ribbon to a shelf and clipped the cards with those tiny craft clothes pins. I think it is really cute and such a nice way to see all the cards at once.
