Response: Thank you a hundred thousand times for being so understanding. Yes, Justice is an amazing girl, we are privileged to know her.
Response: Today for the first time in a month I actually feel like myself. That flu was brutal. Thank you for your kindness in waiting. I am glad you like the quote, I like that one myself. I thought you might like the quote book. You have an awesome 2018 as well.
Response: You are welcome. Sorry for the late response, I had the flu.
Response: I love Vintage Valentines. Sorry for the late response, I had the flu.
Response: You are a sweet mama to arrange the surprise.

Response: Thank you for being so gracious with your comments. Tacoma's only real claim to fame is the Glass Museum. Seattle is the place for sight seeing and I don't go over there but once a year.
Response: Thank you so much for your kind words and encouragement. I am trying to write a story and there are elements of a story within the story, Coventina is the first story within the story and the first Lady, there is so much more that I wanted to write but the whole SHORT story is not easy. I am more a James Michner type writer. Thanks again.
Response: I am so loving this. Thank you again.
Response: I am glad hat you like it. Thank you for the heart
Response: thank you for the heart!
Response: Thank you for your honest feedback, I do appreciate that. Unfortunately, or fortunately, I am like Eluned when it comes to emotions. I tend to be very accepting of things and then later think, I probably should have been screaming my head off....but I will try to write more emotion into her life and perhaps free up the emotion in mine. Thank you, I genuinely appreciate the comments.
Response: Please, I am looking for honest and thoughtful feedback. My dream is to someday get this story published so I need the input and would prefer honest to fluff.
Response: Thank you so much for your kind words. The Lord Peter Wimsey series is amazing and I binge read it all. My favourite besides Whose Body is The Nine Tailors. As to the items, it was such an intriguing opening to a book, a naked body in a tub with only a pince nez and chain on and smelling of violets. I was hooked from the first paragraph.
Response: Oh wow, I have often wondered what happened to that book and you. Is there anyway that you could copy or scan it and get a copy to me? I would like to make one for myself...It was one of the first swaps I ever did and didn't make a copy or make an extra. I have learned since. Not necessarily the same pictures but the story that I wrote to go with it. I cannot remember the whole thing.
Response: Thank you for your lovely email and sharing about your pup. And yes, there are still days when I feel his paw on my knee or a nudge under my hand. They never leave us.

Response: M.M. Kaye is truly one of my favourite authors, in part because so much of what she wrote came from real life experiences that were woven into the tapestry of her fiction seamlessly. I am glad that you are enjoying my swaps....

Response: If I had only known I would have sent you one of each. It came from a boxed set, nice keepsake box, 4 designs, www.galison.com Maps of the Imagination, 4 designs, I got it at Barnes and Nobles.
Response: I am so glad that you liked it. I was sort of nervous, I haven't drawn an ATC before.
Thank you for the heart.
Response: II thought I mentioned in the note I sent with the picture, I took the picture with my I phone in the alley behind my house. I have no idea what the garden looks like because the door is always closed, which is very frustrating, hence the T.S. Eliot poem.
Thank you for the heart.
Response: I am relieved about the suitcase, I love those things and wait until they are on sale and buy 2-3 different sizes. Most of my craft supplies are stored in them, well the crafts supplies that are not still in boxes in the basement. BUT, I digress. I am glad you liked the letter and hope that the other goodies prove useful. In the case of the sheet music if not to your taste, I hope that you find a way to repurpose it into your art. Thank you for the heart and the thanks.
Response: I am loving these swaps. Since I am sharing some of my absolutely favourite books, I want to send things that will delight and intrigue. You can find the book on Amazon. Thank you for the heart. I am already at work on next months' book and swap.

Response: Try to find the book Gift from the Sea, it is not poetry per se but it is absolutely lyrical. She was a very gifted writer
Response: Thank you for creating the swap and for the lovely rating and the heart.
Response: Thank you. I appreciate that you get the complexity of alliterative poetry. I love it and do try very hard to paint those vivid pictures. I think I may have begun to master it when I have written an alliterative poem for every letter of the alphabet.
Response: Thank you for the rating and the heart. I appreciate it.
Response: You are most welcome. Thank you for the heart.
Response: I am glad you found the quotes inspiring, I think I liked the Isaac Asimov one the best although it is always good to leave your heart on the page...sometimes....maybe.
Thanks for the heart
Response: Thank you for such kind words and I am glad you iked the "postcard"....
Thank you for the heart
Response: Glad you liked them.
Thank you for the heart
Response: I am delighted that you are delighted Thank you for the kind words and the heart.
Yes, I would be honoured to join next month's challenge.
Response: I am glad you liked it. Hint about burning edges of a piece of paper, there are several ways to do it. One, which I did this time was to actually use the electric burners on my stove, you can control the burn that way. Another way is to actually use a paintbrush and "paint" water onto the paper about a 1/2 inch in from the edge, that way it only burns so far. I love lavender and thought when you opened it up it would be a pleasanter smell than the burnt edges of the paper....
Thanks for the heart
Response: The postcard is from The Enchanted Forest postcards. It is a book of 20 postcards that you can colour. When we lived in Florida the pink dragonflies were my favourites.
Thanks for the heart
Response: Oh, I am so happy you liked it. Autumn colours, I love autumnal themes.
Response: Yes, it is getting to be a regular thing these days, I am enjoying it.

Response: I am glad that you like the peacock, I was trying to do something a bit different.
Response: You are more than welcome. Thank you for keeping the passport in play. I hope that I get to do your journal as well, and you mine.
Response: I am glad that you liked it, I do love zentangling.
Response: I hope you like the tea...
Response: I am glad you like the cards, thank you for the heart and the kind words.
Response: The Park is an incredible place, I spend several hours a day in it, the excuse is that the dogs have to be walked. Rorye, my 14 year old dog loves to go into the Rose Garden and she does stop to smell the roses. She has several favourites and they seem to be the ones that have a very strong scent. She likes the deep red Damask roses, an apricot coloured one called Honey Perfume and a yellow one. The ones that don't have a strong scent she passes by so there is something that does attract her.
Response: Thank you, I love foxes.
Response: I sometimes wish my father had continued immigrating, when I was 7, my parents started talking about it again but never followed through. A tea warmer is interesting but I think it is more of what the tea warmer represents that makes it special. Home, tradition, family, very powerful things when you are leaving everything you know for some place you don't.
Response: Sounds like a good idea but I was unsure what to do, I am glad that you liked the birch and hopefully you liked the poems at least half as much.
Response: I am glad that you liked it and I am beginning to think it was a glitch because the same thing happened with the lady I rated, she didn't get the rating either. Thank you for re-rating.
Response: I am glad that you liked it. I had a great deal of fun drawing it although keeping track of all the tentacles was a bit difficult until I got the patterns straight.
Response: I am glad that you like it. Someone had sent me one several years ago as an extra in a swap and I fell in love with them because they stay put so much easier than the normal ones so I hope you like this one.
Response: You are more than welcome. I really had fun doing the nautilis, they are beautiful looking creatures in an otherworldly way. I am thrilled that it went to someone who wanted it. Thank you for your kind words and the heart,
Response: You are so very welcome. A Little Princess is an amazing book, well worth reading every year. I hope you like The Girl of the Limberlost. You can find it here to read on line. http://www.gutenberg.org/files/125/125-h/125-h.htm
Response: Thank you for your kind words.
Response: Oh, I am so sorry that it was starting to peel. That happens to me sometimes as well, the machines seem to skin the postcards instead of sort them. Is it ruined? Do I need to send another one, perhaps in an envelope?
Response: You are so very welcome! Thank you!
Response: I am glad you like the quotes, I love the one you posted on your profile.
Response: So, what do you think of M&M's? Not half as good as Smarties are they...hope you like the Chocolove Chocolate with Orange, it is one of my favourites and the wrappers are awesome in ATC's, collage art and other bits of niftiness.
Response: Thank you for the kind words and the heart. No worries about the late rate, I am glad you got it.
Response: You are very welcome. Thank you for the heart.
Response: Only thing better than a letter and a nice cuppa is a long walk with the dogs, which then makes the cuppa so much more enjoyable. Thank you for the heart.
Response: I am glad that you like her, I had a great deal of fun drawing and tangling her. I thought the touches of pink made everything pop. Thank you for the kind words and the heart.
Response: A problem that can't be solved by a nice cup of tea isn't a problem it is a global catastrophe but then I think some of those could have been avoided if the countries involved had simply sat down and talked things over a cup of tea. Thank you for the heart.
Response: Oh, I am so glad you got both of them. Since they were both homemade I wasn't sure the postal system would treat them kindly so that is why two. Leeches, the thought of leeches gives me the collywobbles. But thank you for the kind words and the heart.
Response: You are very welcome. I really enjoyed taking these pictures.
Response: thank you for the rating and the heart.
Response: Thank you, I love writing alliterative poetry, but then I love reading the dictionary and the one seems to give rise to the other.
Response: I am glad that I made your month. And one heart with feeling is enough. I love those inverted Jenny stamps, since you are a pilot I thought they would have a special meaning for you.
Response: Thank you, I am in love with Washington's trees. On Kodiak Island we only had Sitka Spruce and Scrub Alder so I am loving all the variety. The wisteria covered pine tree is definitely a favourite though.
Response: Thank you for your kind words. Lest I have misrepresented, we use to live in Florida, there was a black jaguar at one of the animal habitats there, which is where I saw him. Seeing one in the wild would be awesome, terrifying but awesome.
Response: I am glad you liked it. As I said I am trying to be creative and not do each one the same. I think so far you have 3 of my pages, A, G and K. 15 more letters to go, I think we can do that. And you are right, the keys would make an awesome card. Very clever idea on your part.
Response: I am posting this because I have had hostesses contact me asking why the 1 rating. This is what happened.
Dogs got really sick, vomiting, diarrhea, vet visits, etc. I didn't log in for a week because I was more focused on dogs. When I did log in it was oh crap time. I contacted both my partner, @hazelwitch3 and the hostess of the swap and told them that I had completely spaced it out. She said, no worries, get to it after the 3 swaps I had up on my dashboard, Illustrated Dictionary Pages and Altered Journal. So I got those taken care of. I contacted hazelwitch3 on April 5th and told her that I was getting ready to work on her swap and would send it out by the end of the next weekend. That weekend our cat, Rosie who was 13 1/2 years old died. She had been sick but we were working with the vet and thought she would be okay, so did he.
It simply blind sided us, My daughter is 14, there has been no life without Rosie. We both got very depressed. On top of that, we spent close to $1,200 in vet bills. Our 14 year old dog got so dehydrated while she was sick that she was on IV fluids. I had carried her into the vets and was certain that I would not be carrying her out. Fortunately she has recovered. I went to print some images out to complete the altered journal I was working on for HazelWitch. There was very little coloured ink in the printer, the images were lousy and I had no money to purchase more or to even send the package out and had to wait for pay day, which was the 15th. Since this was beginning to sound like one excuse after another, I got embarrassed and did not tell her that there would be a week's delay which was my mistake to not do so.
It is now the 19th, the package has gone out in today's mail.
I have contacted HazelWitch who knows all of this so hopefully there will not be an issue. I will get a 3 rating when she gets the package. I do not expect any more but this is honestly what has happened, should anyone need to see the vet bills, I have them all right here.
Response: you are welcome and I had fun with Marchy's journal so I hope you do as well.
Response: You are so welcome and yes, irises are gorgeous in a garden.
Response: I am so glad, and I love honeybees as well...
Response: Yay, seeds, gardens, growing things....I love the smell of fresh herbs...enjoy....
Response: I am so glad you liked it. I have been exploring doing more drawing lately so it is a relief to know that you liked it.
Response: Thank you for your kind and gracious words. Perhaps you could put some of the seeds in a flower pot and have a garden in one window? When possible I prefer to type my letters, not because I am lazy but because there are so many creative fonts and I agree, it is much easier to read.
Response: Sometimes the best poems are the ones from childhood, that poem and the Gingham Dog and the Calico Cat are still two of my favourites.
Response: Oh, I am glad that it arrived and that you like it, I was trying to figure out how to get another dictionary page with the word garden on it so I could do it again for you.
Response: I love it when that kind of thing happens and I am happy to make you happy.
Response: Oh I am so happy that you enjoyed the story and can use all of the goodies. Who doesn't love chocolate coins? They just seem so special to me. I am glad I went with the teal, I debated about getting red and white beads in keeping with the theme but the teal ones just kept calling my name, or was it your name?
Response: I am happy you found it interesting. I do try...
Response: As well as liking it, I hope you can find it all useful and create beautiful crafts.
Response: I am glad you liked my letter. I have always seen names like April, June and Autumn as very romantic, old fashioned and musical. The images the name June brings to mind to me are full of sweet scents of flowers, new mown grass, strawberries, warm earth, blue skies, the promise of an entire summer stretching out before you...perhaps your parents had so much imagination that they found it hard to contain in one word so they chose June because that word represents so much.
Response: You are welcome. I thought the note cards were so appropriate for this swap.
Response: Wow, that was quick, getting there I mean. As to Downtown Abbey, you can log into www.pbs.org and watch all the episodes on line in order so you don't have to miss any of them. Sorry if I spoiled it for you.
Response: Stash Chai is an awesome tea! I thought that the tea cup note cards were so appropriate for this swap.
Response: You are welcome, I am pleased that you like it.
Response: Find a poem that you like, if it contains alliteration then that will be great, if not, I am open to other types of poetry. I like haiku as well as Medieval Ballads.
Response: I am so relieved and thrilled that you like them. Recycling junk mail can produce some interesting art but I am never sure if other people will like it. I do hope they fluffed out nice and full.
Response: I am so thrilled that you got the second one and am still holding out hopes for the first one showing up some day.
Response: um....you are welcome?
Response: Wow! That did take a ridiculously long time to get there, Tacoma to Glendale in a month, I could have walked down and hand delivered it. I am glad you liked it and sorry that you had to wait for it.
Response: I am happy that you enjoyed them and I am relieved that you got the tea. I knew that Australia was very protective of their natural resources but was unsure where they drew the line. I know they don't like catnip balls, cause I had one returned a couple of years ago...
Response: Thank you and yes, I enjoyed saying hello.
Response: Standard poodles are crazy fun. Kobe, the one I walked was buckets of energy but had such a sweet personality and he was so smart! I miss walking him. He would jump over the other dogs if they got in his way whilst he was running around in circles. It would be nice to swap with you again. And thanks for taking the list the way I meant it, for fun. I found out in my 30's that I was slightly allergic to cats but informed my allergist that I wasn't getting rid of them so...I am highly allergic to bees, so we compromised. I keep the cats, but won't raise bees....
Response: I love pins, pins and earrings are my thing, with the occasional chunky bracelet thrown in for good measure. I understand about the stick to it tiveness of playing an instrument but mostly I play by ear. But I do have to practice my scales, which can be boring. I am glad you liked the postcard. We came here in 1962 to the Seattle World's Fair. It was very strange to be standing on the observation deck 52 years later and recognizing some of the same buildings from then. Stranger still to be living here but that is a tale for another postcard
Response: Yes, you live on a warm island, Kodiak, not so much. Thank you for the positive comments and the heart. Good luck with the unpacking and organizing of your house.
If you ever make it to the main land you can always visit here.
Response: Oh, I am glad you like it, I was worried that the idea for the page was too weird. I am really trying to be creative. Thank you for the heart.
Response: Thank you. The whole black and gold colour scheme has always seemed so rich and royal to me. I may make the whole series of gods and goddesses (15 major ones) in that same style, black/gold/pottery images. I think it would be powerful. Although I may do black/gold for the males and cream/gold for the females.
Response: Whew! I saw that you had sent out a message first and the only think I could think was, oh no! She hated the letter, the bag, the contents and my little grey palfrey too... Thank you for liking and finding everything useful. I prefer swaps that are beautiful and useful instead of something that you are either afraid to use because it is too beautiful or you set aside because you can't use it. So, hurrah! It appears I chose wisely (this time). As to the story. It started as a diary swap and Naughty Elf was my partner. It was supposed to be 20 pages but I got carried away. But then life sort of interfered and I would shelve it and then take it back down. What I really need is for you and Naughty Elf to keep inventing swaps that require me to write, in which case I would probably finish the story because there would be that creative component, such as what has she gots in her pockets'es (sorry Gollum) and the letter to explain why or where or how. Anyway, I am thrilled that you are thrilled.
Response: I am glad that you liked The Bonnie Swans. I really enjoy basing the art I make on songs I love.
Response: How could anyone pass that opportunity up? The play on words was simply too tempting, and no this does not mean that I will be making a small felted cat out of cat hair for the C page, well...hmmm, that could be intriguing... I really had fun and I am so glad you like it. And yes, the birch bark is absolutely amazing. And I did not know before this that there was such a thing as paper bark maple trees...
Response: Thank you for rating, I am glad that you enjoyed the cookies, tea and the letter.
Response: thank you for your positive comments and yes, I probably will continue to expand on and fill in the story as these Creative Writing Exercises continue. The next one centres around a park bench. Perhaps that is the bench that Nathaniel sat on whilst he debated what to do with the box. The character in history that I have loosely based my writing exercise on is a man named Nathaniel Courthope who was one of the intrepid Dutchmen who did "discover" the Banda Islands better known as the Spice Islands...
Response: I am happy that you like your A pages, both of them.
Response: I am so happy (and relieved) that you like the Holy Cards and that you were familiar with St. Dymphna. I thought her story was powerful and inspiring.
Response: thank you, happy that you liked the post card and the quotes.
Response: thank you, happy that you liked the post card and the quotes.
Response: thank you for checking your junk mail and finding my e-mail. I appreciate that and the rating.
Response: thank you for taking the time to rate me. I appreciate that a great deal.
Response: I tried to make them interesting and enjoyable to read. Thank you for the heart
Response: I am happy that you found them interesting. I did try....
Response: You made me cry with your words. Would you do me the honor of allowing me to continue to be accountable to you? It seems to help knowing that I have to show someone "proof of progress" If that makes any sense.
Response: thanks and am waiting with anticipation
Response: you are very welcome
Response: I am thrilled that you want to get to know 'Prudence' better, she is an amazing friend to have and she does love to take walks, even if you have to take one every 30 minutes.
Response: I was happy to do so as the Arthur legends happen to be one of my favourite.
Response: I am glad, the fact that she wasn't a traditional lady in a boat was making me a little nervous but I believe we should be remembered for how we lived, not how we die.
Response: You are very welcome, it blesses me that my words were of comfort and please make my "story" your own and change it as you wish...
Response: Thank you for your sweet words, I appreciate them.
Response: you are welcome.
Response: Thank you for rating me. I understand the need to take a break from swapping at times, but I greatly appreciate the fact that you cared enough to take the time to rate me.
Response: Thank you for your kind words...and just because Cheryl would have said it..."If you happen to get the ring worth $5,000, then you have to split the profit with me..." And don't order the Sweetie Pea unless you like the scent of grape koolaid because that is what that one smells like, has pretty rings but definitely smells like grape.
Response: I am absolutely thrilled that you like it and have the same concerns about trying to dust beautiful, fragile things. I love those cards as well and thought I would share them.
Response: I am glad you like it, it makes all the effort worth it.
Response: Thank you so much for the rating.
Response: I am very glad that you do. So have you checked out the glow in the dark stars and moons yet?
Response: Oh, you found them. If it makes you feel better, I have been picking up large glittery hearts from the crafts room all over my house and I thought I had taped that envelope down fairly well. And to be a minister who leaves a trail of loving hearts behind her....that's not a bad thing......And I am genuinely glad that you like the notebook, it was made specifically with you in mind. The glitter hearts were sort of an afterthought based on your comment about needing at least 'one little heart'
Response: I am so relieved and genuinely thrilled that you like it. It did take a great deal of thought as to the mechanics of getting the door to actually open but not have the mechanics be the focus of the ATC. And it didn't even take 3 weeks to get there...yay!
Response: I am happy you like it.
Response: You are welcome.
Response: The blue background is a water-colour wash with kosher salt sprinkled on it and allowed to dry. I am happy that you like it.
Response: You are welcome. I sort of find it funny in a way. Someone had said that whole the journey of a 1000 miles.. quote to me one day and then right after that I saw that postcard and immediately thought...not a good ending...
Response: I am delighted that you like the ATC and think the crow feather is awesome. I would have tried to pass it off as a Griffin feather but that would be insulting to the crows. I love my crows, amazing birds.
Response: thank you for rating me. Hope you liked the postcard and quotes.
Response: Thank you, I like playing with paper and doing new things with it. Thank you for rating me.
Response: I am thrillled that you do like her.
Response: You are welcome, glad you saw the connection.
Response: Thank you for rating me.
Response: I am pleased that you liked the card, I would imagine that there are not many opportunities to see caribou in Australia, camels maybe, caribou, not so much.
Response: I am delighted that you like the ATC.
Response: You are very welcome. I am pleased that you liked it.
Response: We do have scenery that lends itself well to postcards.
Response: Alaska is a beautiful place to visit....glad you liked the postcard.
Response: Wow, that took a long time to get to you. Thanks for rating me.
Response: I love art from that period so much. It is just so amazing. It makes me happy that you liked a non-Halloween themed wooden house.
Response: I am glad that I finally gave Jane a chance as well....I love being Lost in Austen.
Response: I am glad that you liked everything and for your patience and understanding regarding my daughter's heart problems.
Response: Perhaps putting it in a picture frame between two pieces of glass? No, that wouldn't work because of the embellishments. I didn't think about having to decide which side to display. How about six months on one side and then six months on the other? I am really glad that you liked the ATC. Did you look up other "blue" images from Rajasthan? They were so amazing.
Response: I am glad that you liked it. I saw your artwork and went wow! I like recycling things and the Chocolove wrappers are amazing. I give my husband and daughter the chocolate and I get the wrappers...
Response: You are more than welcome...
Response: After our conversation about the characters at Mansfield Park, I thought it was appropriate.
Response: You are very welcome. Have a blessed day.
Response: Oh, Thank G-d! Our mail is so weird during the summer I was afraid they had gotten lost, I know something have taken 6 weeks to get where they were going, stupid fish, stupid island, Swap-bot is so much more important!
I am glad that you like them. I had fun making them.
Response: You, my beloved friend are a hug and a cup of hot tea on cold and lonely day. I am glad that you like her, I guess I was overthinking her. The fabric was from Wal-Mart, which use to sell fabric and doesn't any more, at least not here. I think I have a 1/4 yard left and can send it to you....
Response: It's okay, everyone seems to like that idea and it was one of those delightful accidents that happened when we were playing Pente and I saw how the glass half marbles or glass gems magnified what was underneath them. You can find them either in the floral aisle or in the aquarium aisle. I am happy that you like the ATC.
Response: You are so welcome. Thank you for the heart.
Response: You are very welcome! I am happy that you liked them both. Thank you for the heart.
Response: I am glad you like it and the quote.
Response: I'm glad you like the postcard and thanks for the heart.
Response: I love kalidoscopes, and always have so I am thrilled that Thea likes hers. I am glad that you and your girls liked your RAD swap.
Response: Oh, I am so relieved and happy. I am extremely patriotic and to me, the Declaration of Independence, the Gettysburg Address and Bush's 9/11 Address are some of the most powerful words in our nation's History. And Lady Liberty is one of my favourite symbols. I am so happy that you love it. Thank YOU.
Response: You are welcome
Response: I didn't think you would understand a mermaid paper doll that was NOT The Little Mermaid unless I sent the fairytale as well. I am glad you liked her hair. I really struggled with it and wished that I had had tiny little shells and crabs to put in it to go along with the story.
Response: You are very welcome, I am happy that you like it.
Response: I am glad that they arrived and you like the appearance of them. Without trying to give away too much, the Smile Starter Kit does involve the cats so their interest is justified....
Response: I am glad that you like her.
Response: I am so thrilled and relieved that you liked them. When I do something like the Lee Shore I always think of ways that I could have done something differently, the water was very hard which is why the waves of words. I am glad you like them.
Response: I am glad that it will be an interesting read. And yes, sometimes I read things and then go, interesting but there is no way I would do that...
Response: Thank you for allowing me to share it. I had a blessed Independence Day spent with family and friends.
Response: No, I use to live in Florida and we had a canal in our backyard with an alligator in it. I also have lived in New York and did when I was 13 hike to the top of Mount Marcy so the lie was oddly enough the most believable of the statements. We live in the center of town and the bears usually don't make it this far, they go dumpster diving 1/4 of a mile from here, closer to the forest and the mountain....
Response: My Dear Oak, I am glad that Chene arrived safely and that she has found a good home with you. She is a joyful fairy and I know that you and she will have good days together. Joyous Be, your friend Moth
Response: Funny yes, how sometimes it is the card that thrills us and sometimes it is the quote. Kodiak does whales, we have Orcas in St. Paul's Harbour every spring. They are thrilling to watch, unless you are a sea lion....
Response: I love those cards, they are beautiful. I was reluctant to use them but realized that I should share the joy. Oh, I am glad you like the house as well.....
Response: I like Emerson a great deal. He always makes me think but in a delightfully peaceful way.
Response: You are more than welcome. I am glad that you like her.
Response: Well, IF we had joined the swap we never would have see that picture.
Response: Well, IF I had joined the swap it might have been fun if my artner hadn't wanted a Swahli speaking unicorn that kept saying Polo.....
Response: Oh, ick, how DO you know that? Why would anyone want their tushy painted to match pink pleather. If I had joined this swap I wouldn't have learned this disturbing bit of information....
Response: Except for the pleather wearing constipated unicorn male stripper, this swap would have been fun if I had joined.
Response: Hey, us girls gotta stick together, and since I didn't join the swap I had to do something....Marco....
and after the 97th person told me that it was a bare derriere and not pleather pants, I have bowed to superior wisdom/experience and am thoroughly ashamed of myself that I actually would have posted the picture, IF I had joined the swap....
Response: You are very welcome. I hope you liked the Cowgirl themed mini notebook and the Western pin.
Response: I am resending to you, please see my pm. I am sorry this was not what you expected but I misunderstood the swap criteria and thought that a Celtic Knotwork image based on your birth month would be representative of Ireland and a little more personal.
Response: You are more than welcome.
Response: If I had known that I would have sent you a variety pack of the hard candy Lifesavers instead of sour gummy ones. IButter rum are my favorites.
Response: thank you for being so gracious and understanding. I hope you like your Fairy Gift.
Response: You are welcome.
Response: She is based on the bunny from the ATC you sent me, I just sent her back in a different form.....
Response: Oh, you got it. I was worried because of the impending at the time now rolling postal strike. and I am glad that you like it..
Response: I am glad. Thank you for the heart
Response: Rabbits and thyme, it just seemed to go together, I am glad you got it.
Response: How delightful....
Response: I am relieved that you got her and that you like her. I pm'd you about the hair. Roving and angelica for added sparkle. Since I don't knit or crochet, I had to find some use for the cool colours of the roving.
Response: I am glad that you liked the package and that you can use the apple cover.
Response: I love sunflowers, and I love to draw sunflowers. Raggedy Ann, doesn't she bring back memories.....
Response: I am glad that you like it, I was very nervous about sending it...that you wouldn't like it.
Response: Hurray, I was trying to achieve that grade schooler with a glue bottle effect. I guess for this one I got in touch with my "inner child" effectively.
Response: I'm Refrigerator art! I love refrigerator art so this is a honor for me and I am being serious. I put things on my refrigerator that I like to see all the time so I am really flattered. Thank you.
Response: Thank you for the compliment, it means a great deal coming from you. The background is actually from the Nun's Priest's Tale, I copied it, and then printed it out in a colour to match the priest, well I recoloured that wood block print as well...
Response: I am glad that you like it.
Response: You got them I am so glad, we have had so much fog, wind and rain. There are people in Anchorage who have been trying to get over here for 5 days now...the mail sort of takes a low priority to people and food....
Response: Oh, I am thrilled. I am very new to paper doll making and while I love it, I am a beginner so it makes me very happy that you like her and paper dolls with finished backsides look so much better don't they...
Response: you are welcome.
Response: I am glad you like the moose card...
Response: I am happy that you like them.
Response: I am glad that you like the quote and the card...
Response: We moved from New Mexico to Florida and then to Alaska and yes, it was a shock...each time. I am glad you like the ATC. I love the bark paintings, they were just so joyful.
Response: Thank you, I have been sweating bullets worrying that you would be offended that it wasn't a cute "human" fairy... kittens dream of flying as well...
Response: I am very happy that you like it.
Response: I am sorry for your loss and I am happy that you like your blue house....
Response: I am not sure the country of origin for all the teas that I sent you, but I hope you enjoy them all...
Response: you are welcome...
Response: Sorry about the leaves coming unglued, I thought I had gotten them all secure. I am glad you like it, it was a hard swap for a variety of reasons but I was hoping that the end result would speak to you. I am relieved that you love it.
Response: you are welcome.
Response: You are welcome.
Response: I am glad you liked it. Thank you for the heart.
Response: Wow, I am so sorry, I thought I had put an address label on it. Since my real name and my user name are the same I usually just use the label. I am so sorry I didn't do that. Thank you for rating me and I am glad that you liked the postcard.
Response: I am glad that you got it so quickly and that you liked it. That is important. I would love to see a photo of yours if you have one. The photo corners for the ATC's, I am sure you will put them to good use. Tell your husband that The Deadliest Catch is very popular here as well but because it shows people what live on a boat is like.
Response: You should use the pencils, I can always send you more...I am happy that you like the stickers...
Response: You are very welcome, I will send you a postcard from Bree regardless....
Response: You are welcome, I enjoy studying and researching so it wasn't a hardship....
Response: I am pleased that you like it.
Response: hopefully sooner than later....
I am glad it spoke to your heart.
Response: I am happy that you liked them both. Thank you for the heart
Response: I am so glad you like it. Isn't that just the most amazing picture? I would love to have that painted on a wall somewhere...thanks for letting me share it with you.
Response: I am thrilled you like it! I am very new to ATC making so I appreciate the encouragement.
Response: It means a great deal coming from you that you like my doll clothes. I will go sign up for the next one now. I can send your DH some visitor info from Alaska if you would like. Flat rate envies are amazing things....
Response: Thank you for the rating plus the heart.
Response: Thank you for the compliment and yes, that statue is simply amazing.
Response: They won't let me not walk them, even when it is blowing 30 knots and the sleet feels like bullets against my face.
Response: Thank you for the very kind words that tell me what you actually like about the ATC's. I appreciate it as I am new to doing ATCs.
Response: I am happy that you are happy with the ATC and the extra items. It is serendipitous that you like Purple so much cause I know I sent you a lot of purple.
Response: I am glad that you like my sense of humor....
Response: Oh, thank you for such kind words, I was hoping she would be loving and loved.
Response: I am glad you liked them. Thank you for your kind words
Response: You are very welcome.
Response: I am glad that you like the house, it is a Spanish influenced roof line, but you probably figured that out.
Response: thank you for the kind words. Hope you liked the view from the top of Pillar Mountain....
Response: Thank you for the heart...
Response: I shall keep moving forward, dear King Holly following in your footsteps as we vanquish dirt from the realm.
Response: Tiggy was not thrilled about having her feet inked, nor the fact that her paw prints made bunnies....
Response: Thank you, it was a serendipitous idea to be honest, I wanted the dress to have a train and then it just sort of happened. I am glad you like her.
Response: I am glad you appreciated my sense of humor...the salmon never benefit from the end of their journey...
Response: It is an ATC kit in an envelope and I hope you have fun making and creating ATC's with it.
Response: I am glad you appreciate my sense of humor....
Response: I love the Secret Garden, it is one of my favourite stories so I was thrilled to share my love of it with someone else. Dried roses are so evocative of a secret garden, it blesses me that you like them.
Response: You are welcome. I am enjoying making these.
Response: Yes, I do smile, because it is clean, organized and because there is yet another area in my house that is "done up and dusted" as my nan would say.
Response: You are very welcome.
Response: I am very blessed that you have been touched. I was praying that the books would speak to you.
Response: You are very welcome. I was hoping you would like the pressed penny.
Response: It was made specifically for you based on your profile so I am VERY glad that you like it. Hopefully one of your cats looks like the cat under the wisteria....
Response: I am glad that you liked getting the blues. Thank you for rating me.
Response: Thank you so much. I am so glad you like it. I thought the tower was amazing.
Response: thank you, I like vintage. The young girl was one of four women on a pattern envelope for 1920's clothing.
Response: You are very welcome.
Response: You are welcome.
Response: You are welcome
Response: You are more than welcome. I love that picture it is so calm and yet it is still leading us onward, towards hope, towards a new day....
Response: The book of Kells sort of threw itself off the shelf and into my hands but then later I saw the leather bound one with the botanical prints on the front. I couldn't put it down. Since you were the reason I bought them then they needed to be with you. As to ink for your quill pen...A & M makes excellent ink and you should be able to find some at a good stationer's or art store in a variety of colours including indigo, auburn, verte, turquoise, black and my personal favorite, tobacco. Be patient with yourself at first, using a quill pen takes lots of practice to get a feel for it and then you have to use it constantly or you lose the feel of it. I am waiting for your pm. We need to set up another swap, so I will continue to write until the story is done. Then if I get it published you can come on the book tours with me...
Response: You are welcome
Response: I was hoping that you would like them and be able to use them. I like the art cards and architectural detail cards that I get and I read on your profile that you liked the state, city and country ones so now they have a good home with you.
Response: You are welcome
Response: You are welcome
Response: Thank you for the complement. I was hoping you would like the not so traditional theme that I used. The picture is of a girl carrying a basket of peat, probably lighter than a crock of gold...
Response: I am glad you got it and liked everything, I was worried.
Response: Yes, it is nice to have tackled it, especially with snow on the ground outside. I will turn it into an oasis of green growing things, no snakes allowed.
Response: thank you for the encouragement, I appreciate it very much.
Response: You are very welcome and I am delighted that you are delighted.
Response: I am glad you like your tree fairy. I had fun drawing her.
Response: That quote is one of my favorite, I am happy that you liked it.
Response: You are very welcome.
Response: I have known about Andorra since I was in the 8th grade, I would love to go there. I am glad you liked the ATC.
Response: When I read your profile after having done the ATC's I was hoping you would appreciate them. I as well love maps and stamps. Perhaps we will get each other as partners at some point. I am making myself a set as well.
Response: I am glad you liked them. The shell is an oyster shell, I find them and sea glass on the beach all the time so I have to use them in swaps or my house would be buried in flotsam and jetsam
Response: Thank you for the encouragement and the motivation to keep doing this.
Response: Thank you for the encouragement.
Response: The lichen, moss, leaf and bark creation is actually a mask, I thought I put that in the field guide, sorry that I didn't. You should be able to hang it up, unless you are happy with it being a table decoration. The fairy is a foxglove flower sprite. I am glad you liked everything. Thank you for the heart.
Response: Thank you, I am glad you liked it. Some times I have a hard time mailing them off and this ATC was one of those.
Response: You are welcome, glad that you liked it.
Response: I am happy that you liked everything.
Response: You are more than welcome. I liked the size of the book. One of the things I love about the Kindle is the size and weight. I wanted a book that was small and light as well.
Response: I am glad you liked them. I had a hard time letting the one go, she was just so tres chic.
Response: Thank you and yes, I agree, I liked that I got to "rescue" 50 half sheets of paper from the recycle bin, so hopefully it will be used and then recycled. The envelopes, obviously were from an outdated textbook that was heading for the trashbin. I like being able to creatively reuse things, I just want it all to be neat and tidy when I do it.
Response: Thank you for such a nice comment. I was worried that they weren't "upcycled" enough, but I love old textbooks and thought that they might make cool envelopes.
Response: Glad you liked it.
Response: Thank you, the theme was a Winter Wonderland and the wonder of a winter's night is one of my favorite things. I am glad you like it.
Response: I like keys as well so it is hard parting with them but as long as it found a good home then the sacrifice was worth it. I look for them in crafts stores, thrift shops and even locksmiths at times have old keys that they will get rid of. I am glad you like the house, I am having so much fun with this swap.
Response: I am glad you like the Haiku. Wow, it must have taken a boat and then a bicycle to get to you, sorry it took so long. Thanks for rating me.
Response: Wow, I'm impressed that you got Cyril the Squirrel, I thought that one might have been the stumper. Trixie's valentine...my personal favorite. I am glad you liked all of them. I tried to stay "in character" while I was doing them, and since I went from Trixie to Mrs. Tittlemouse, it did feel a little schizophrenic by the time I was done. Personally I had a crush on Jim Frayne, I wouldn't have minded being his best girl when I was 12....
Response: You are very welcome and have a lovely purpley day.
Response: I am glad you like them and will wear them, that blesses me.
Response: Thank you for the encouragement.
Response: Thank you for the encouragement.
Response: I am glad you got the tea so quickly, I only sent it out last week. I like quotations about tea, especially the one about there is nothing that a cup of tea can't fix. Perhaps the world leaders need to sit down over a cup of tea and simply talk, it might resolve many things.
Response: I am blessed that you are blessed. I know, I love that faux leather because of the way it looks and the Amazing Grace fabric was so appropriate. I had a hard time not filling the pages with quotes, prayers and scriptures that mean something to me. I had to slap my hand and say, no, no, it isn't mine....
Response: You are very welcome
Response: You are welcome
Response: I am glad that you love as much in person as in picture. Your pleasure in it is better than more hearts.
Response: I am glad you liked the bookplates, I made them for you especially. Funny though what different people like. I love the pictures because I can use them in collages and you like the stickers, which I don't use that much. I am glad they found a good home.
Response: Yeah, well, I promised a friend I would and it became an integrity thing so I had to read them. I am looking forward to reading the Pillars of the Earth series by Ken Follett so that should take the taste of emo-vampires and surly shapeshifters away.
Response: Oh, you got it! I am so relieved. The guy at the post office asked me where I got the envelope cause he thought it was really cool. After that I was afraid that your swap might disappear into a black hole because I did too good a job making it look good. You HAVE to read Trade Winds and A Death in Zanzibar. You can find them on Amazon.com used for a couple of bucks. Try to get a copy of the 1963 version instead of the 1981. You would also love Shadow of the Moon.....ahhhh...I am so excited. Someone who has actually heard of M.M. Kaye without me telling them. You made my day!
Response: You are very welcome.
Response: Thank you for noticing, I was trying....
Response: You are very welcome. I enjoyed putting it together.
Response: You are welcome...
Response: Wow, it took a long time to get to you. You are welcome, thanks for rating me.
Response: Thank you for your kind words and I am glad that you can use them. I would like to figure out how to do the silhouette ones better for next time.
Response: You are welcome and I am glad you like the mermaid. I like making the koi mermaids. I hope you like the chocolate.
Response: Thank you, I am glad you liked your Book of Tea.
Response: Who would have thought that naked postcards could wreak so much havoc with the post office. I am glad that you liked the fully dressed bear....
Response: you are very welcome. Happy Chanukah to you as well.
Response: truth be told it was your user name that inspired the quote that I used this month. I am glad the polar bear made you smile......
Response: Thank you for the lovely comment...obviously we both are regular chai drinkers because we are happier people and I agree, chai tea is definitely Yum....
Response: I am glad you found them interesting and thoughtful. Thanks for the heart
Response: I am glad you liked it.
Response: I am so relieved that it got there in one piece and you liked it. Yes, we have shells here, clam, oyster, sea urchin, crab shells, conch shells....I love the sea glass, that is what I gather when I am on the beach...can't wait to see your pictures.
Response: I am glad that you liked the package, sorry you were having a bad day, glad I could be there to give you a "hug". I love garnets, beautiful stone, I would take garnets over diamonds, any day of the week. I have read every book Maeve Binchy has written, they are wonderful books. I kept a copy of the prayer of abandonment for myself as I soooooo needed it right now. And yes, I had a long talk with Maya, that lasted 7 hours, the length of time it took me to comb out her hair, that there are certain things it is better to not be curious about what it would be like to have them, head lice being at the top of the list. She has assured me that she will no longer trade hats with the other children at school, especially when a head lice infestation has been announced. Children are full of suprises, some of them pleasant, some not so much.
Response: Kodiak bears are actually a subspecies of Grizzly bears and twice as large as normal Grizz, a full grown Kodiak bear can weigh 1,000 pounds and stand 10 feet tall so yes, the size is intimidating and they are smart so you are right to have a healthy respect although normally if you see one and you mind your business and your dog minds his business then the bear will mind its business. It is the "teenaged" bears or the old, sick ones that are unpredictable and can be dangerous. If you ever come to Kodiak, Alaska, I will tell you what I tell everyone, the door is always open......
Response: I love orange chocolate, especially those chocolate oranges that you can find around Christmas. I am glad you liked the cards and orange fingernails are a kick. I have a bronzy orange that I love every once in a while but then I find myself watching my fingers and not minding where I am going or what I am doing...Thanks for the heart.
Response: pm from Shylittlegirtl...I don't think I ever got around to changing your rating, but I just received your card yesterday. It was wonderful, thank you.....shylittlegirl had rated me for a card that someone else had sent.
Response: I am glad you like everything. Hope the books are to your taste.
Response: Thank you, my daughter really liked that magnet. Yes I love papayaart as well.
Response: I am glad that you liked them. Thank you for the heart
Response: thank you for the heart.
Response: thank you for the heart
Response: You are welcome!
Response: I am glad you liked it.
Response: You are welcome, thanks for the heart.
Response: Sorry, the quote is one of those sayings that you hear in passing and it becomes part of your language and when I was trying to think of something for the back of the postcard it came to mind.
Response: thank you for rating me.
Response: I am very happy you liked it. It is only the third ATC I have made. I find the small size to be a little intimidating creativity wise.
Response: I thought it was a wonderful quote. Thank you for the heart.
Response: I like the quote and I also like looking up at the stars.
Response: I had fun putting the package together. I am glad that you can find a use or place for everything, that makes me happy. Give Simba a scritch behind his ear for me and let your husband know that yes, Rocky and Bullwinkle rock. I am also relieved that you liked my "gaudy goodies" I think gaudy can be fun, colorful and tasteful at the same time.
Response: I am so glad. It was sort of a Jane Austen does Mexico fan...having lived in New Mexico for 14 years I really liked Uncle Leo's quotation. Hopefully with the heat the chocolate didn't melt. If it did I am so sorry. In Alaska we don't think about 100 degree weather except in our dreams and fondly.
Response: Thank you, but I don't expect perfection in a friend, how boring and it would be horrible for her, cause I am certainly not perfect. Although, my best friend and I have been friends for 52 years now, we met when I was 4. She says I pushed her off her roller skates...I don't remember that...
Response: You are more than welcome. Thank you for the compliment. I did try to think before I typed.
Response: I am happy and relieved that you like it, it was sort of a thank you for the wonderful postcard I got of the French Pyrenees for a Quote Card swap. I guess you could say this time that your thoughtfulness came full circle.
Response: I tend to write like I think, in paragrahs. I seldom think in lists, which can make grocery shopping a literary experience. ;-)
Response: Thank you for the heart.
Response: From one reality junkie to another, thanks. I read your profile, you sound like someone I should know.
Response: obviously being friends with me would not be your cup of tea, thanks for rating me though.
Response: thank you for rating me, since there was no comment, perhaps you didn't know what to think of my list.
Response: thank you, I was just trying to be myself.
Response: I am looking forward to corresponding with you!
Response: Awesome, I look forward to making a new friend.
Response: Thank you, I try to be genuine, occassionally I succeed.
Response: I really liked your list! I will e-mail you before this weekend. I have a project that I am working on for the next couple of days.
Response: thank you for rating me.
Response: I guess from the heart you liked the altered composition book, I guess from the blank comment, you weren't sure what to say?
Response: I am glad you think my profile is interesting. What would you like to know about living on an island in the Gulf of Alaska?
Response: Oh! No! I hope the translator didn't scrabble my words and tell you that your profile wasn't interesting because it was and I love hummingbirds! I live on an island in the Gulf of Alaska, no hummingbirds. I grew up in New York state, lots of hummingbirds and lived in New Mexico and there were hummingbirds everywhere. I was just trying to communicate with you in your language to honor you, not be disrespectful.
Response: I hope you liked the comment, sorry if the language translator was not perfect.
Response: I am glad you liked it.
Response: I'm a wacky, silly and unusual holiday celebrater, which is much more fun than say, Christmas. And you got it on National Beheading Day so I was not late and you did not have say, "Off with her head." The stupid question is..."Do you like dates?" Seeing as how they were so hard to find it would be ironic if you didn't care for them. Doesn't the Honey Soap smell heavenly? Mostly though I just send packages that I think people would like to get....tell your husband, it's okay, she is just from swap-bot, which is not really a foreign country.
Response: You are welcome
Response: I am glad you liked it.
Response: I am pleased that you have graciously accepted my invitation. I would be more than happy to have my cook write out some of the recipes for your cook. If you would please let me know which ones appealed to your taste.
Response: I am glad you got the postcard. And yes, I love Mark Twain, he had a way of skewering the truth quite aptly with words.
Response: I am glad you liked everything. My favorite is the "14,000 Reasons to be Happy", since August is Admit You Are Happy Month and I am rather fond of Toasted Marshmallows, although reading a book and eating toasted marshmallows is not something I have tried together yet.
Response: you are welcome
Response: Right after sending the postcard out I watched the movie, Mansfield Park so now I am re-reading that and thinking...hmmm...this an excellent book as well. And yes, I like "The Lake House", very good movie. Have you seen "Lost in Austen"?
Response: Chocolat is a good book, the movie was based on the book but they changed a great deal from the book. I hope you enjoy it.
Response: You are welcome.
Response: I love both those quotes, one makes me think and the other make me feel so peaceful. I am glad you appreciated them.
Response: Yes, I love this quote.
Response: Be forewarned, the best parts of the book are the prologue and the last sentence, the in-between has just enough good stuff to keep you reading but enough garbage to make you want to quit, when I read the last sentence I was glad I didn't.....
Response: Be forewarned, the best parts of the book are the prologue and the last sentence, the in-between has just enough good stuff to keep you reading but enough garbage to make you want to quit, when I read the last sentence I was glad I didn't.....
Response: Cinnamon Basil Sorbet
3 Cups Apple Juice
2 Cups Sugar
4 Large Sprigs Cinnamon Basil
Juice of 1 Lemon
Grated Rind of 1 Lemon
Combine apple juice and sugar in a sauce pan and heat until sugar is just dissolved. Add cinnamon basil and cover. Let steep 30 minutes. Strain out basil. Add lemon juice and rind. Chill thoroughly. Prepare in ice cream maker according to manufacturers instructions or pour in a shallow dish and place in freezer, stirring about every 30 minutes, until frozen. Recipe makes 4-6 servings.
Response: I know you love Alaska. The door is always open.
Response: “Develop an interest in life as you see it; the people, things, literature, music - the world is so rich, simply throbbing with rich treasures, beautiful souls and interesting people. Forget yourself." ...I love this quote. I am seriously thinking of putting it on the wall in my library.....
Response: Yes, Chocolat was made into a movie that is brilliant and one of my favorite "feel good" movies. The book is darker than the movie. Good but darker in tone.
Oh, thanks for the heart. I wasn't being rude, we just started talking about books and the movies made from them that is a subject that can distract me. The book is good, the movie is better. And I have only said that of three book/movie combinations in my life thus far. Dr. Zhivago. Last of the Mohicans and Chocolat.
Response: I thought the postcard was pretty as well.
Response: You are welcome. I love to share the possibility a good book with others.
Response: I am very happy that you like your package. So does your portable to-do bag now have veggie embroidery in it?
Response: Oh, I love Mrs. Dunwoody's Excellent Instructions and the "Cure" is sensible advice even today.
Response: I am glad, Mrs. Dunwoody's Excellent Instructions for Homekeeping written in 1866 still has good advice for today.
Response: I am glad, Mrs. Dunwoody's Excellent Instructions for Homekeeping written in 1866 still has good advice for today.
Response: You are wonderful yourself, now get back in bed, drink some more Jewish penicillin and get better quick. I would send you matzoh ball soup but am not sure how well it would travel.....I am glad you liked the package and I will send you some more hamatashen after Pesach...
Response: I am glad you liked it. I thought it would make the pictures more interesting than just saying this is Pillar Mountain and this is our house under 5 feet of snow.....
Response: You can come visit any time, glad you liked the card.
Response: It is the last line in her book "The Changeling of Finnistuath" and it is probably one of the best last lines I have ever read.
Response: You are welcome, any time your daughter needs Dora plasters just ask. Did she like the Alaskan Paperdolls?
Response: ..it is the last line in a book called The Changeling of Finnistuath...and I wish I had written it.
Response: You are welcome. I thought perhaps you had forgotten to rate so this was a very pleasant surprise for my day. I am glad you like the rubbing, I actually enjoyed doing the rubbings more that the pictures.
Response: You are welcome
Response: You are very welcome.
Response: I am glad you liked the package. I felt awful for it being late. I thought you might find the older gravestones interesting. How many times do you come across a stone that says Killed by Indians...thank also for the heart, that was unexpected and totally nice on your part.
Response: I have always liked Sandra Bullock, I am glad you did as well. Thanks for the kind thoughts about Buck and Edmund...
Response: You are welcome and I am sorry about the late delivery. My real address these past few months has been Chaos.
Response: You are welcome.
Response: I am glad you liked it. I had always thought Rapzunel needed to get a clue.
Response: I did have fun find weird hair pictures. You are very welcome.
Response: It really touches my heart and I am glad that it touched yours.
Response: You are very welcome. That quote touches my heart. I am glad it touched yours.
Response: Honey, I was more concerned that you got it, the rating is not as important to me. I am glad you like it and can always send more if you want it.
Response: You are welcome and you deserve the heart, not I.
Response: You are very welcome.
Response: You are welcome.
Response: You are more than welcome. It takes a while for things to get from Alaska to Italy. She was a very well traveled redhead.
Response: I am glad you liked it, I so wanted to keep the book but that wouldn't have been very nice of me.
Response: You are most welcome.
Response: You are welcome
Response: Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you,
Happy Birthday dear Cinnabear, Happy Birthday to you and a big bear hug too....You can put the bear bell on your pup, so he never gets lost, actually that is what people up here do, put bells on their dogs so the bears know they are coming....
Response: You are very welcome. I liked the quote as well, although it was a little tricky to write and get it down in the right order.
Response: Oh yeah, Einstein knew what he was talking about.
Response: I am so glad, I had a whole other school house planned and then read that you didn't like green so it was back to the crafts table, I am glad you liked it.
Response: You are welcome.
Response: You are welcome.
Response: You are so very welcome!
Response: Kodiak can be gorgeous and if you ever make it up this far let me know, the door is always open.
Response: Sorry about the pixelation, I am learning how to make postcards and work with the photo shop images and copier. Thanks for the heart.
Response: Thank you, I really enjoyed putting it together for you. I like Ravenclaw as well, although the question is, if they are Ravenclaw's why is the bird an eagle???? Perhaps the wrackspurts were involved in that one...
Response: You are more than welcome.
Response: You are welcome
Response: You are welcome.
Response: I am happy that you liked my view of Kodiak. It just seems more interesting than the usual touristy pictures.
Response: Amazing what beads, quilling strips and paint chips can make. And I am very happy and relieved that you like them. L'Shanah Tova....
Response: I was hoping you would like it. Redheads rule!
Response: I am glad you like it. Good luck with your studies this semester.
Response: Thank you. It was a very personal thing for me. I have also spoken to one of the teachers at the high school and she is going to get one of her world history classes to do the project as well....
Response: I am happy that you like her, I love details and dolls that are finished front and back, no hospital gowns for our girls.
Response: You are very welcome. Alaska is one of those places that all fields have lakes and animals and mountains in the background, either that or ugly pictures of towns crowded on the edge of these gorgeous fields filled with animals, water and mountains....
Response: You are welcome!
Response: I will resend a different postcard, sorry you didn't like it, most people like scenes with the bears or whales in them.
Response: I was hoping you would like the bear...let me know if you ever decide to come up here.
Response: I am glad you like it, after I read your profile I just had to make a red and white gingham toadstool house. The roof is padded so if you wanted to you could hang it on the wall in your sewing area and use it as a pincushion.....
Response: You are welcome.
Response: Oh, I am so glad you liked it! I was a little nervous, the 2.5 x 3.5 seems slightly intimidating to me but with paint chips anything is possible.
Response: I am glad you liked it....
Response: Oohhh, bummer, I can resend in an envelope so you can have another one...and you remembered to rate eventually, it happens to all of us occasionally
Response: you are welcome
Response: You are very welcome. I hope you liked getting the blues, it was a fun package to put together.....
Response: Thank you, I am glad you liked her, I was trying to do something with a vintage post card feel to it.
Response: You are welcome...
Response: I am glad you liked it. Have a great day.
Response: She was very special and it is still hard to thihk about her without getting weepy. I think what Cheryl represents is the very best of Swap-bot...
Response: You are so very welcome. It was such a beautiful card I am glad that I found a use for it with some who will appreciate it.
Response: I was hoping you would like the Once upon a time, knight in shining armor, happily ever after theme. It is one of my favorites.
Response: I loved making it so I am very happy you loved getting it. It is a very happy home...
Response: I am glad you didn't mind being a seahorse...when I do mine, I always end up being a cow but it was a pretty fun swap to do.
Response: It was fun to do and I am relieved that you like the French poodle one, it was a lot of fun to do with the pompoms and the rhinestone collar. It was a very fun swap.
Response: I am so glad you do...
Response: You are welcome!
Response: You are welcome. I will be resending the postcard this weekend as you should have the picture to go with the recipe. Phooey on our post office!
Response: Smart alec! I wouldn't have put the shells or the dangly charm on it if you didn't live across the street. So, want to go to Banda with me?
Response: I am glad you like what I sent. I like white chocolate as well and sometimes it is just nice to have the good old favorites around. What did you think about the white chocolate and blueberries???
Response: I didn't really make them to be bookmarks but I am glad you found a use for them.
Response: Thank you for thinking up the swap. I really enjoyed doing this card.
Response: Thank you, what an honor to think that you liked her enough to display her. I am very intrigued with making Koi mermaids, so while she is the first, she certainly is not going to be the last.
Response: Alaska does have some awesome postcard scenery. I am happy that you are happy.
Response: I am happy that you like the cards, I really enjoyed making them. I was worried that you wouldn't like the mermaid, but every once in a while I like whimsy. It keeps me from being too serious.
Response: I had fun doing this. Thank you so much for thinking of this delightful swap.
Response: You are very welcome. I hope the catnip grows well and Mischief is in "high clover" come summer.
Response: I am glad you like the white chocolate and blueberries, that is a favorite in my family.
Response: You are very welcome!
Response: I am just glad you actually got it. Our mail has been so messed up because of snow and volcanos.
Response: You have no idea how badly I wanted to flake...I would say if you didn't like it you could return it but I have a feeling the words "no way" are probably involved.
I know I sent you chocolate before, it was a reflexive action, oh, it's Mona, she needs chocolate....but don't we all...
Response: I still say that you are the one who deserved the heart for being so patient with me and my family crisis, I am glad you liked it, I hope that the information from my life experience will prove useful in some small measure.
Response: I am so sorry about the bottle. I thought I had wrapped everything very carefully. I guess next time I know not to use a glass bottle. I hope your finger is better.
Response: I know you like owls and Maeve Binchy. I like her as an author as well, my favorite still being after all these years Light a Penny Candle. I love some of the others but I return to that one.
Response: Perhaps I will get to send another one to you. I will make that one flowers or a whale. Alaska has gorgeous postcards!
Response: They are cute as cubs, gorgeous as adults and think we are part of the food chain no matter how much we go ohhh....
Response: Thank you for the heart and I am glad you liked the journal.
Response: Vous êtes très bienvenu !
Response: Oh I am so happy you got it and liked it. My 15 year old son and I spent a wonderful afternoon making the food for the basket of goodies. I just thought both of those Little Red Riding Hood books were incredible so I had to share. The white stones go with the Hansel and Gretel gingerbread house, I think I forgot to stick a note in about them. Have as much fun with your kids as I had with mine doing this.
Response: I understand completely about cleaning and organizing myself into not finding things. I am glad you like it!
Response: Frequent Flyer Miles for postcards should be mandatory. I am glad you like the sea otter. I once spent an hour watching one. They are amazing.
Response: Yes, they are incredibly cute. It is one of my favorite postcards as well.
Response: Eu amo tartarugas or in French - J'aime des tortues. I forgot to include that in the booklet. Thank you for being so sweet. It was my back, I pulled a muscle, it just hurt to sit and write for long periods of time, it is better.
Response: Hurray! You said you liked new and different. I wasn't sure about how you would like the chocolate & pears but nothing ventured. nothing gained. I know about the sharing thing, we do it because we are moms and that's what we do best...
Response: Good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over... I love good books, especially series. I hope you can locate the others. If not, let me know and I will help you search.
Response: Thank you for letting me know you got the package, especially since you are in the middle of moving across country. That was very, very thoughtful of you. I am glad your daughter liked the polar bear mug.
Response: I am sorry it is freezing where you are but right now, at 2 degrees with wind chill, 40 seems like bathing suit weather to me! Although I will admit, as long as my fingers and toes are warm, the rest of me is fine, perhaps I should have sent mittens as well....
Response: Like duh, neighbor, perhaps to give it that weathered look I should have let the bullydog chew on it for a while first, he would have liked that, or I could have let Nova drool on it, that would have weathered it up just fine....
Response: You are so very welcome.
Response: See, sometimes being flaked on is 'euphoric' or serendipitous, I wanted this to make you feel happy about getting a substitute. I thought you would like The Memory Room. I could never bring myself to cut, hack or whack at it but I have made copies of some of those illustrations. They are incredible and the poems are pretty great as well.
Response: I love using old text books for altered book art simply because they are fascinating! I have Winston Readers for the 4th and 5th grade from 1910. They certainly didn't have Dick and Jane back then!
Response: Hello you, took awhile to get from Alaska to Scotland didn't it. How's all the studying going???
Response: I am so relieved you like it. I was a little concerned that it wouldn't be your style. I hope you fill it with happy thoughts.
Response: My Belgian Tervuren gives me the same caught in the act look and I absolutely love it! Mostly, my background music would be Worship music with a bit of the Jaws theme if I was getting ready to make a stupid choice but then...would I ever get out of bed if the music for the day was bad...
Response: Have a good day. Isn't it amazing how just saying hello can lift your spirits?
Response: Thank you sincerely for letting me know that you got the card, that means a lot to me.
Response: I hope you like them. I thought that you might enjoy the pop-up book.
Response: My pleasure, literally. I had a hard time letting that postcard go but it seemed to have your name on it so I am glad you liked it.
Response: I thought it would add to the day to try to say hello in as many languages as I could. C'amai is Aleutiq for hello and the long word is Russian, I don't know how to say it but I surely love how it looks.
Response: I am glad, how are you doing? This is the second swap I have sent you and you are beginning to feel like a friend. How is your business doing????
Response: I think I enjoy finding postcards and quotes even more than I do getting them. I am glad you liked it.
Response: You are most welcome, A little different than the sky in California, yes?
Response: You are very welcome. I trust that the cookies were not just cookie crumbs by the time you got them....that concerned me.
Response: Oh, I am so relieved. I really wanted to make it personal because of your user name green-eyed raven. I am thrilled you like the feather and the stone. It was the stone in the Raven's beak that was the catalyst for the whole project. The question was why would a Raven carry a stone - the answer was your matchbox!
Response: Knowing that Gunner is thrilled and you are delighted is enough. It was nice shopping for a little boy again, they are so amazing. I hope he liked the reindeer and enjoys the movie, popcorn and hot chocolate!
Response: Each cup of tea represents an imaginary voyage. Catherine Douzel. Perhaps one day I will host a tea and literature swap, then I can have my two favorite things at once.
Response: By now we are friends. It was a totally awesome experience for me and I am glad you found the candy bar and not your daughter....if she wants one, I can always send it to her.
Response: You are welcome. If I could have found you a cat card I would have but mostly the postcards up here are short on felines and long on whales, wolves and bears...oh my!
Response: A bit of northern color for a transplant...I am glad it brightened your day
Response: I love quotes so I am happy that you enjoyed it. Here is a "bonus" one since you are a business owner...Sometimes life is like a roller coaster ride, all you can do is hang on and scream...enjoy your day
Response: You are welcome, it is nice to be able to answer a wish even if it was Alaska in a box. Hope the socks keep your toes warm...
Response: I am so relieved you got it. I once had a letter go astray to Platinum Alaska, which is a very small fishing village on Bristol Bay and it sat there for six months before someone thought to put it back on the mail plane and send it on. I get a little nervy about mail sometimes since then.
Response: I hoped you would. Instead of sand castles we have igloos...
Response: It is a blessing that you are blessed. How awesome that half a world away we can reach out and touch someone's heart.
Response: You are so welcome. I sent two envelopes to you so if you only got one, there is another one out there. I wanted to find at least one Fairie that had an Arctic feel. Not all of them run around half-naked...
Response: I am glad that the bear was bearable and not boring!
Response: I am glad, if there is one thing Alaska seems to have an abundance of it is postcards with spectacular scenery and animals on them. Alaska was made for postcard swaps!
