It's fun to try to follow someone else's train of thought. That Folk fest sounds like a lot of fun, but not in that heat! Here, we never do anything at all outside (except swim) from Mid-May until Mid-October. I understand your exhaustion for sure!! Thank you for the awesome postcard, too. I envy you working in a castle like that!! That is pretty neat.

Response: It is heat activated foil. I don't remember did I use my heat 'pen' or just douplesized tape. Both methods work with the foil I have.

Handmade envie, puppy paperclip and such sweet words from Keksi-Korni and, did we read this right, Pipari? I love how their handwritings differ. Humphrey is very happy about his letter! I looked on your envelope to see what city in Germany you live in, but I wasn’t familiar with your city. I have a nephew that lives in Stuttgart. He went to college both in Atlanta, Georgia and in Stuttgart. He got a double majorin German and Mechanical Engineering. He is working for a small company in Stuttgart. He is the first American the company has ever hired. He got his evaluation and he got a GREAT EVALUATION!

I enjoyed reading all your answers and learning about Kekri, since I had never heard that "name" before even though I recognized the festival and the symbolism associated with it. Comment: Thank you for your letter! There is a large medieval re-enactment each year not far from my childhood home - Pennsic. I've never been to it, but it usually brings over 10,000 people. We usually go to a Ren Faire each year but I haven't gotten brave enough to wear the historic dresses - very cool that you do this!

Response: Naalbinding is viking age way to make socks etc. Knitting came to Scandinavia pretty late and before that socks/mittens etc were made by naalbinding.

Comment: I love the Totoro ATC, it really brought a smile to my face. I'm pretty new to ATCs as well, mostly I do collage, but also have been experimenting with watercolor for the first time. I feel your watercolor worked very well for the ATC :)
