Especially the sewing ATCs...not one, but two! Woohoo! I love to sew and these will be displayed near my sewing machine as a source of inspiration! That's what sharing our art is all about really, isn't it? To inspire others, motivate, cause introspection, to edify and ignite passion in others! Even the sleeve that the ATCs were nestled into was so darn cute, along with the extras...so many ribbons and the washi tape that sealed the deal! I look forward to future swaps with you. Comment: I think the salt aspect really worked well on this. The batik part would have been better had the watercolor had more intensity for contrast to the whiteness of the glue. It was very pretty and sparkly though. It made a nice background.

Comment: I had a neighbor who collected old buttons...she had a LOT of buttons! Loved the dog ATC (I have 3 dogs...none of these were rescues but I have had rescue dogs in the past -unless you call adopting dogs family members had and didn't think were "their type" - I have 2 of those!!)...
Response: Oh we have one of those dogs too - the German shepherd pictured above! He was my mom's dog (she got him from a rescue) and she didn't like the fact he wasn't the exact same as the previous German shepherd she had. He is the goofiest, sweetest fur ball of love. Thanks for the heart!

Comment: Thank you for the great card and note. I love Christmas for all the reasons you gave. I shop for gifts year round, I can't stand the last minute shopping and avoid malls between Thanksgiving and Christmas. I also enjoy making gifts and try to do things year round so there is only minimal last minute pressure.

I usually end up making a huge mess - powder flying everywhere, but when it works I love it! I am so happy you like the ATC!

I was having one of those brain farts where I couldn't get inspired, and then suddenly I remembered seeing the Coke can embossing thing and that spurred me into action! The cans are a pain to cut - make sure you have some good tin snips. While I was waiting for the alcohol ink to dry I started playing with a box of random crap and the little girl just started to form! My rule of thumb is if I hate to part with it, I have done a good job - so glad you love them!

Comment: I got my super duper crazy amazing package today and I love every single thing in it! I was kinda freaking out when I opened it, thank god no body was home. lol You really sent me some great things, I can't believe that you forgot to put something in there. How the heck would it of fit? :) That pouch with the fibers and lace is beautiful. It is going straight into my purse for showing off. Oh and how did you know that I bought metal tape and it was the wrong kind? I think you read my mind about that. I was shocked to see it in there. And that bullet shell.....umm, yeah I won't ask about that. lol Thank you so so much for joining my first swap and for being my amazing partner!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Comment: hahaha... my 14 year old son listened to the swap description, to find the weirdest thing possible for a dollar, then I held up the shovel, and his straight faced comment was, "Well, I'd say she wins." Another funny thing, the flowery thing IS a salt shaker... I emptied it out and the holes were just all clogged up with salt! Even so, it's WEIRD. :) It's on my table now, though, because weird is okay with me! Thanks!!

My husband picked it up years ago from an estate sale. Wierd. You've really given me some great ideas of what to do with those matches, just from that. Comment: I love how you used cans and bottles. How did you make the beads, they are so cool. Thank you for all the extra goodies!
Response: Thank you so much for the rating and the heart. The beads were made by cutting the plastic bottle into strips, coloring them with a marker, rolling them, then heating with a heat gun. There is a tutorial at [dollar store crafts](http://dollarstorecrafts.com/2009/04/soda-bottle-beads/) It was a lot of fun... thanks again
