Dalek sounds like a great pal and he seems to at least sneak some very healthy foods. All your travel sounds very exhausting, but what a fascinating job you have! I love the Chihuly postcard; I saw some Chihuly glasswork at the Botanical Gardens in St. Louis, Missouri a few years ago and fell in love with it. Comment: Thanks for stopping by! I find I read a lot at 2 times: right before bed, and at work. I have the Kindle and nook apps on my tablet, so I have plenty of books available. I also have a lot of time at work where I can listen and not be bothered, so an audible subscription is really useful for me.
Also, as far as your kiln question goes, I have my own kiln. It's too much of a drive to find a studio I can use, so a kiln was a better option for me.

Comment: They were for 2 different swaps. I found my round one first on ebay for a few dollars. I got my flat one (actually slightly domed shaped) on amazon. I have bought a lot of rolodex cards on ebay for crazy cheap. It would have cost a lot more at the store. Thanks for posting.

Comment: Your photos are great! I love the one of Dalek! He's like one of my cats, who I can never get a picture of that isn't at least partially blurry! And your zygote - we've always called them Christmas cactuses - is beautiful! I've had them off and on, and they bloomed great for a couple of years, then just die. My house is not the greatest for indoor plants - not enough light. My grandmother had a huge one that went on and on for decades, but I don't think it survived my mom and me! Great photos - thanks for sharing!

Comment: I love your descriptive writing on the mismatched pair and Dalek is so adorable. I read that you can use a silver cleaning cloth or baking soda and water paste on just the silver part, but stay away from any pearl. Pearl just use mild soap and water and never soak.

Response: The napkin is pretty, isn't it? It's actually decoupage paper! You can tear it up and use it to collage over the top of plain coloured surfaces (another one of my favourite pastimes) =) Hope you enjoy!

Comment: I love the creativity of your ATC but it was technically a 1/2 in short on one side. The only rule of ATCs is that they are 2.5 inches by 3.5 inches (I'm in the US so I don't know how that converts for you). I wont rate you down to a 3 but wanted to point that out for future ATC swaps that you may do.

I'm having serious problems at work with my boss and I even considered quitting... Anyway, I LOVED those sour skittles (YUMMI!) never had those before... and everything else was just perfect! You're a darling and definetely put a smile on my face! :-)
