Our favorite tradition is to make a special oatmeal cookie that started with my father-in-law . Not sure who will continue it when I no longer can make them. I have to have help mixing the dough now.

Comment: What an adorable card! thank you :) Nope we don't use the Ferry its about 100 miles or so out of our way - we take the Cassiar and enjoy the bear spotting along the way, amazing how many bears we see some years. Love the sun you drew :) we haven't seen the sun in awhile since we work all day haha and are down to like 3 hours of sun - Thank you for the birthday wishes :)

And yes to pancit! Aww, pie crusts are temperamental and time-consuming -- I dislike having to get my hands into the cubed butter/flour...
