Comment: Happy New Year! And congratulations on the new job. It sounds great. I love "ChiTiHow" which arrived in my p.o. box yesterday. It looks as though he had some adventures with the postal machinery on his way. But he came through. I make postcards from my own carvings too, and I love trading these! If you want to flip me your snail mail address I'll send you one. I also like the mini-carvings on the reverse of your card... I do some lil ones too, but I like yours better. I have enough scrap material to carve hundreds of these. I like your bio, and I just put The Spiderwick Chronicles on hold at my library. I've got one for you... I'm 25 pgs from finishing up Seraphina, a YA book by Rachel Hartman. Her writing is superb, her characters are fascinating and well developed and the plot will knock your socks off! Thanks for the card!

Comment: Thanks for resending. The reason I am leaving you a 3 is cause nothing was wrapped like the swap states and some of the items you sent me were not on my wishlist. EDIT: 4/27 Please stop trying to make me change my mind about the rating, everyone who has swapped with me knows I always rate fair but instead of admitting you didnt put an effort in this swap you tried repeatedly to change my mind. It was not my fault your original package was lost and I doubt anyone would travel 100 (?!) miles to get one item. Swap items were neither wrapped nor put in a nicely made (amazing as your guideline states) box.. I put a pic on my flickr, anyone can see what I received so stop trying to change my mind
Response: Greek Princess is being overly harsh in her rating. I tried very hard to send her something she would enjoy on this 2ND package. She stated she didn't receive the 1st package, so I resent. I sent her 4 things from her wishlist and they weren't "CUTE" enough is what she stated. I also sent extras from her wishlist and travelled 100 miles from my home to purchase one item. I have tried to reason with her and resolve it, but she is being ridiculous in her rating. I don't know what more to do & am very upset that she would rate in this mean spirited way. Especially when I tried so hard to make this a package she would love.......I quote from the swap-bot user page: "Respect and be courteous to your partner. Understand that different people have different points of view. Remember that behind every username is a person with real feelings. Don't leave unfair ratings. " I think she should change her rating...I did forget to wrap the items within the box, probably b/c it was a resend, but I don't think that should cause me to get a 3.

I guess you think that others who do give ones as a rating are lesser people. WOW. I work full time and admittedly do not have the patience of Job. I told you 20 days before I rated you that I had not received anything and you did not offer up anything then. You waited until you were rated a 1. Timeline - May 27 item due. Jun 5 I write asking you about journal and you tell me it was sent media mail which you said can take 4-6 weeks and you marked it sent on May 17. I didn't hear anything else from you. June 25, you receive rating of 1. I think I was pretty fair. Item due May 27 - I don't rate you until June 25********************************************* I think I would be more understanding if you had been honest in this transaction. You also keep bringing up the fact that many flaked on this swap to excuse yourself of the swap. I even gave you an extra month in good faith. What else am I supposed to do? I'm ready to wash my hands of the whole thing.
Response: This was a very time consuming project that took nearly 3 months to complete. I sent out to her and apparently it was lost in the mail. I am unable to recreate a project of this magnitude again. I offered to send a profile surprise or something to make up for the lost journal, but she refuses. I don't know what else to do. I had hoped she would be understanding about lost mail, but she is refusing to be reasoned with. I guess there is nothing I can do about this rating. ~~~~~Response to the above comment left by carolina- I only brought up that most people were flaked on & that I didn't FLAKE---I made and sent the journal, but it was lost. I had hoped you would take a profile surprise or a wishlist item as a show of good faith, but apparently you feel the need to rate me down. Comment: I want you to know that I have a young daughter and she totally got your treasure box. It is an amazing collection of "treasures, very thoughtful and well planned. I love the herb plaques and the Indian necklace. Maya begged and I hope you don't mind but I gave her the rose ring and she hasn't taken it off her finger since she put it on yesterday. It is probably one of the most delightful themed packages that I have gotten.

I like the balancing of the two different kinds of art, and I've never really thought before about why Justice might be blind... its a good thing to think about. For future reference, the picture came unstuck and peeled off the playing card at the back so I had to restick it. I don't know if that was just fluke or if it might be better to use a different glue? I used double sided tape to repair. Cheers muchly! I am happy to have my swap-bot card deck begun! :)

Comment: Thank you , this is a beautiful ATC. I love the way you have embellished a printed picture. The only thing I would suggest for next time is use a complementing backing card. Gold or light brown would have looked great instead of blue. I do love your profile by the way, very detailed , I used to play with mud, but had to postpone it for a while as I had a baby in Jan , am hoping to restart soon. BTW what sort of craft kit would you like for the crafty kit swap? :o) Katrina
