Response: Yes I dyed the gauze. I find when you melt crayons you have to think about which colours will work together. Those years of colour theory have to be good for something.

Response: For the glitter I used fabric foil and a product called BoNash 007 Bonding Agent. Glad you are enjoying the cards.

I thought at first that it was some sort of wrist cuff and was just putting it on to see how it looked when I actually read your card and it clicked in my brain (you'd think that, having just come from 2+ years of working in a coffee shop I would be able to tell a coffee jacket when I see one, but it's past my bedtime!). Anyway, I'll definitely get a lot of use out of that, as it's small enough to carry around in my purse. All I have to do is remember to take it out of my purse when I'm in coffee shops. Anyway, enough being long winded - Yay, swapping!

I love that I now have three of your pieces making my living room that much more magical. I'm SO jealous of the industrial sewing machine I suspect you may have for doing those fabulously wide zig-zag stitches around your card edges!
Response: Actually I use my domestic machine a Brother presently. I always try to have one of the most basic machines as I find they sew just about anything and I mean anything.

Comment: I love the postcard! Failed artwork does indeed make super fascinating cards. Is it at all digital, or is it paint on canvas? I love the craftsmanship too, and the label you added to the front! I wish my sewing machine would zig-zag that wide.
Response: It is a digital picture printed on tissue which was then attached with gel medium onto painted canvas. This was a fun swap. I like to find uses for things that didn't work the first time around.

Response: Actually the skirt was just plain old brown I jazzed it up for the PC. It would have been a pretty exciting skirt if it had been decorated such, maybe I shall have to make myself something like that. I am already known for having some odd skirts.
