Comment: Thank you for sharing. Emmen looks like a place I would like to visit.It is a bit far from where I live but my sister in law lives not so far from Emme. Maybe I will combine it with our next visit there. I saw similar tombs in Sweden and found them very interesting. In German it is also Stolpersteine and I like to read what is written on them when I visit other cities.

Response: Hi, road assistance is not government. I have a paid contract for that. In other contries it is called triple A but in the Netherlands we have this service through ANWB or my insurance company. (The same company I have my car insurance from).

I have been watching her new tv show as well. If you listen to podcasts at all, I would recommend "The Minimalists." It is the best podcast on living a minimalist life (mindset, what adds value, emotionally, etc.) I've ever listened to. "Becoming Minimalist" by Joshua Becker is a fabulous blog on the same subject. Moomins blijven altijd leuk, maar ik was helemaal blij met de tape aan de achterzijde van de envelop met tape van Sheepworld. Wat jaren geleden, tijdens onze wintervakantie in Duitsland, hebben mijn dochter en ik tas, portemonnaies en nog wat spul gekocht van dit heerlijke schaap!
Response: Geinig! Die tape heb ik op een vakantie gekocht in Oostenrijk. Volgens mij waren we net over de grens naar Italie gegaan in Vipiteno (waar ze Duits spraken) en daar die tape gekocht.

Response: Yes indeed, hagelslag - I wonder how you know the name of it? We don't make it but buy it in the supermarket. It is impossible to make hagelslag yourself.
