Comment: Thanks, Dawna. We are all fine here with 6" of snow on the ground and a low tonight of 0 F. I do collect old photo and art postcards of uniforms from olden times. So this card goes right into that album. Best wishes, Rich
Comment: Great postcard for this swap! Funny thing: I sent a Gateway Arch postcard too! (It wasn't the same postcard.) The city lights and the Arch make fantastic and beautiful reflections on the river. I have been to Missouri but never St. Louis. I would love to see the Arch sometime.
Comment: Thanks so much Dawna, for the so lovely winter scenery PC! We've had our fair share of snow, since the 3rd week of November. I'm hoping for a white Christmas. Will be a shock if we do! Because we either it before & it's melted & after Christmas. Happy Holidays Dawna!
Comment: Thank you, Dawna, for the wonderful cards you chose for me. I love them all, but I'll have to say that vintage, deckle-edge one is my absolute favorite. I'm so lucky when you're my sending partner--you send the nicest cards!
Comment: Thank you for the NASA Kennedy Space Center card. I love it. I have been there once in Sept 2012 and I have a picture of me standing right by the end of the Apollo moon rocket. It really shows how big it really is. I loved that visit. We even got to see the shuttle Endeavor sitting on the 747 waiting on weather clearance to be taken to CA where it was to be retired to a museum. That was one of My favorite stops of that trip wit my daughter and a friend of ours.
Comment: Thank you so much Dawna, for the Snow Leopard PC! Is he ever just beautiful! I did as said & looked up Santa Barbara Zoo for the Snow Leopard kitten and you're so right, it's so cute ! Makes me want to cuddle it!
Comment: Thanks for the great foxy PC! Yes, the earthquakes we have been having are scary. The normal daily ones just feel like a big truck is driving by. I don't even note those most of the time. Stay safe and healthy! Hugs from Alaska, Sherry
Comment: Thank you for the lovely sweet postcard. I get why that is your dreamjob, haha. My boyfriend is the sweettooth in our house, he can't live without chocolate, while I'm more a cheese/potatoes chips kinda girl
Comment: Hi Dawna! Thank you for the lovely pc and I have always wanted a "front" porch like that as well! Houses here just don't seem to have those love wide porches though - sigh! My "front" porch has enough room for a very small chair and that's about it - no fun at all! LOL! Wishing you all the best! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: Thank you for the postcard, Dawna! The cat image made me laugh! I don't believe I've ever heard three of the songs you included on your list, so looking forward to listening to something new :)

Comment: Thank you for the postcards - LOVE the Lincoln card and the poker chips are interesting! I have never been to Mt. Rushmore, have you? I have been told you can see the faces from outside of the park, so you really don't have to pay to get in. Pro tip! :) Take care and hope you had a safe 4th of July.

Comment: thank you for de Golden Carriage. This carriage is being restored at this moment. It will take several years. The King and Queen us it only once a year (opening of the parlaiment). Now they use the Carriage of Glass. It is not made of glass but the windows are so large, that you can see the King and Queen very well when they pass by. Google Glazen Koets.

Comment: Thank you for the Lincoln farm postcard!
I think there are big differences in such memorials. I’ve visited some really boring made museums, but sometimes there are little gems. I should give them a new try too I think.
I‘ve never visited the Krameramtsstuben (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Krameramtsstuben) which are not far away from me. Thank you for inspiring me for this!
Comment: Hi Dawna. Thank you for a great set of cards. You choose well. Many are so bright and colorful.
Diff you know that the ad card you wrapped them in is from a museum here in the Twin Cities? Thanks!
Comment: Dawna, thank you for that great vintage postcard, I love it! I wish I could be lucky and find 100 of them too lol! Yes, antique shops and flea markets are so much fun. Thinking of going to a few in St. Augustine next weekend. ❤️

Comment: I love it. I went to San Diego a long time ago (about 20 years now) and absolutely loved it. It's always been on my list of places I want to go back to. I'm with you about laying on the floor,, I'd want to do the same 😀
Comment: I finally got my forwarded mail and I'm so glad, because I love what you sent! (Sorry again for the mix-up.) The vintage cards are cool -- I actually lived very close to Logansport, Indiana, for a few years! I also really love the tea you sent. The wrapper is gorgeous! Thank you!

I hope you're not getting tired of getting me as your partner as it seems to be happening a lot lately. Lucky me!
Comment: Thank you for the postcards! Autumn is definitely my favorite time of year. It's too hot and humid here in Summer to really enjoy it. But Autumn is lovely with all the colors and it's cooler but not cold.
Comment: Thank you so much for the cool PCs! I hope your parents are doing okay now. We were some of the few that were blessed to not lose our power. We are on the same grid with the water tower so I guess that's what saved us. We were happy to share the warmth of our home with friends who were not so fortunate. Have a wonderful day!

Comment: Thank you for the cute Halloween postcard. I love it! Most Halloween events are cancelled here but some people are still going trick-or-treating. One of the big churches is having a drive through trick or treating event. Everything is so different this year, but we'll make the best of it! Take care!

Comment: I came home to an envelope stuffed! with ad cards and goodies. Such a nice surprise. After turning my camp site (over 20 years) to my daughter and s-i-l, I needed a pick me up. I can't do the hauling and upkeep anymore, but I sure will miss it. It sparked joy for many years.
Comment: Thank you for the postcards. I especially love the one of Convict Lake as I went there last summer with friends for a couple of days. We took a boat out on the water and tried to fish but did not catch anything; it was beautiful none-the-less and I watched a lunar eclipse while there too. I hope all is well with you!

(sorry for the delayed rating). Please see my profile page if you are in need of an explanation.
Comment: Oh my, thank you for the cute dog card, yes, things ARE poopy right now! I like the PCs - I have been to Stanley Park once, when I went to Vancouver to catch a cruise ship for Alaska and what I saw of it, it was beautiful. The Musical theatre card is wonderful (always a perfect choice for me) as well as the block print, which I think I may cut up and use for a homemade greeting card in the future. Take care!
Comment: I simply could NOT love this card more!!! As a large lady myself I always appreciate seeing my peoples represented :):):) Her red hair and side-button sailor pants are to die for. I have a friend who collects these old images of large ladies, but I don't think I can part with this. I may have to scan it for her. ;) THANKS for such a special cool card. Hope you're hanging in there! :):):) Also, the Liberty forever stamp made me smile since my daughter's name is Liberty.

Comment: Hi Dawna! Thanks for the Tardis card! I was thrilled to see it in my mailbox. :):) Thrift stores, YES! I have been fantasizing about my nearby Goodwill. I've been venturing out a teensy bit with a mask, but still sticking mainly home. I got invited to a BBQ this weekend! I was like, um, no. Hang in there! :):)
Comment: Great cat envie, Dawna, & no need to apologize for not having cards to suit my preferences. The cards you chose are delightful & VERY suitable! I love Wegman's dogs & had never seen that particular one. Paloma's Lips - right up my alley! And of course I'm a big Frida Kahlo fan. Amazing how LBJ as a child looks exactly like he did as an old man! Thanks so much & I can certainly relate to our PC sources being closed. My stash is rapidly dwindling too.
Comment: Hi Dawna! Thanks for the great Williamsburg, VA pc! I have not been but now I want to go - well with the stay at home policy extended to May 30 here, I am really ready to go anywhere! LOL! So glad you are enjoying your vintage pcs - I love them! Please stay safe, Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: Hi again Dawna ! Thank you for your Letter D PC. I have heard a lot of protesting going on lately & even here, to get their jobs back. These people don't realize, we will never get rid of that Virus if they have regular businesses opened back up. I mean it's spreading faster than wildfire now! Why add fuel to it!
Comment: Thank you for such a cute Panda bear PC ! Nope, You didn't send this PC before & I love it! Yeah, You are right, The PC does look like it's from the 70's. Now those were the days and I miss them too & wish there was a way to get back the 70's. I'd do do-over with my life. Have a good one!
Comment: Mega Hearts!! All great cards, but oh my goodness - Mount Rushmore I did not have - and Lantern Press, too!! I have over 300 different cards of my favorite place to visit. This card is an amazing addition!

Comment: Thank you for the PCs Dawna. Bear Lake looks like a beautiful place, I googled more images and it seems everyone takes pretty, reflective photos there. I hope all is well with you and your family, take care!
Comment: Thanks for a favorite, Alice with arms around a fawn. Occasionally, deer are seen in my rural area. I am bored. I do take walks on warm and sunny days. I go only to store once a week. Stay safe.
Comment: Thank you for the planetarium postcard! I have many vintage postcards that very clearly came out of someone's album or scrapbook. It is nice to know that people were able to make lovely memories out of them.
Comment: Thanks for the cool batch of non-touristy PCs, Dawna. Love the antique map image with all those strange sea creatures patrolling the coast! Fun Safari Park envie too. Stay well & hope you have plenty of TP :-))
Comment: Hi Dawna! Thanks for the great postcards for E & F. I appreciate the extra effort to send BOTH letters! That was very kind. Comment: Thank you for the Hollywood postcard. I used to live in Paramount CA so I've been to Hollywood several times. We are going to Disneyland next year so I will definitely make sure to go to Hollywood again.
Comment: Thanks for the great postcards & extra, Dawna. All perfect choices for my offbeat taste. Love the Charley Harper flamingo & Bruce McCall's tourists watching TV while missing all the wildlife right outside their window. And that lava shot is amazing! Stay safe & healthy!
Comment: Hi Dawna... thanks for the Letter B PC. I have never been to San Diego... I got to Oceanside once about 36 years ago to visit a friend, but never made it in to San Diego. I would love to see the Zoo. I hear it's fantastic! The California Tower on the PC looks really cool. I would love to see inside it!
Comment: Thank you so much for the beautiful postcard! I've never been to the American side of the rockies, but I've been to the Canadian side at Banff National Park, and it's absolutely beautiful! San Diego, on the other hand, is still in my travel list for the future :)
Comment: Thank you for the postcard. It will become part of one of my mixed media journals. I don't get the movies much, I'm more netflix, hulu, etc. It is currently 7¤, no snow today:-). I hope your rainy grey skies have cleared and you have sunny weather. Happy swapping!
Comment: More beautiful cards to add to my collection! Love the South Carolina map card, the deer, and those street signs--that's a really unique one. I also love that sweet little Alley Cat notecard you sent--adorable, forlorn kitty ;+) Thank you so much, Dawna, for always sending such special cards/extras.
Comment: Thank you for very ovely blue cards - my favorite is Take Me to the Ocean! That one is going in my Cruise photo album! Cruised Thanksgiving week in the Caribbean, next month to Mexican Riviera!
Comment: Thank you for the cute hedgehog PC. There are a lot of them in my area. Wild hedgehogs like to come to my garden in the summer. It doesn't bother me because they are cute and useful (e.g. they hunt for mice). Happy swapping :)
Comment: Thank you Dawna for the great Grand Canyon PC! I have never there either. Always wanted to though. But have been to our Pennsylvania Grand Canyon however and go see it every year. Is about an hour from here & so beautiful!
Comment: I laughed when I got your envie with the big pink flowers on the front. You'll see why when you get a swap from me that's en route to you! Thanks for the cards you chose. The Dumbo image brought back forgotten childhood memories.
Comment: What marvelous cards you chose to spell SLEIGH, Dawna. I'm especially drawn to the one from the Dearest Margarita series, the lovely image of the crescent moon & the silkscreen hats. Thanks so much! Have a joyful Christmas.
Comment: Hi Dawna! I love receiving cards from you! I just love that sweet kitty Christmas card; kitties do love their boxes, don't they? My favorite card is the one with the emus! Mutant birds ;+) Thanks, too, for the vintage deckle-edged; I just love those.

Comment: Hi Dawna!
Lucky me to receive a pc swap from you. As always, all the cards are great choices. San Fran! Alaska! and deckle-edged cards! Thank you so much for sending such a wonderful assortment.
Comment: Great "R"ooster pc! I do enjoy a visit to Tuesday Morning...unfortunately the closest one to me closed and I don't often drive an hour away just for that 😁. Thanks and best wishes, Mar/skinny52
Comment: I have not been to Williamsburg, VA but I have been to Mount Vernon. There is also a history center here that has a settlement village with people dressed in period clothes doing the tasks (candle making, baking, etc).
Comment: Thank you Dawna for the Grizzly bear postcard. I have always thought they were a beautiful bear. That is sad there are no Grizzly left there. We have the Black bear here and there are a total of 20,000 of them here. Which they hunt and I don't like it either! But they are allowed to do so though.
Comment: Cleveland is a busy port on the Great Lakes. We had unloaders called the Hulett Ore Unloaders. They were in all the ports in Ohio, but all but 2 have been scrapped. The last ones are dismantled and stored. Cleveland has been fighting to rebuild and display one downtown. I would love to see that happen. Thanks, Joy
Comment: Hi Dawna. Got your "Goodbye to Summer" postcard. Nice cut n paste, great photo. Reminds me of being a little kid on the beach with all of my siblings. Autumn is my favourite season. It's short, only 2 months, maybe that's what makes it more precious for me.
Comment: Thanks for the nice variety of postcards. I especially like the waterfall postcard and the Sacsayhuaman in Cusco, Peru postcard (I have visited it!). I appreciate the homemade envelope and the postage stamps on the envelope.
Comment: Ok I'm assuming this is the correct swap because there was no note 😕 but there was a bear, umbrella, and snail with a bonus kitten card so it makes sense to me! Thank you so much! I like them all!
Comment: My tastes may be a challenge, but you meet it head-on, Donna! Thank you so much for your pc choices & all the great stamps. The strange antlered dude is just the sort of odd-ball card I love; the elephant & Mardi gras cards are charming; and yes, the wading bison did make me laugh! I already have plans for altering it with a speech bubble! Extra ♥♥♥s for your thoughtfulness. Great handmade envie too!
Comment: Thanks for the fun PC! Love 50s music - it's a huge thing for our family -we are 1940 and 1950s living historians (reeanctors) and we do a LOT of events in the spring, summer and fall!! Hope you're staying cool!
Most of my music is on VINYL! believe it or not!!
Comment: Wonderful postcard! We just had a storm blow through with just wind - no rain. And we lost power for a few minutes. But in the South, it's not unusual for it to rain every day for 10 minutes, just because of the humidity. Lol!
Comment: Squeeee, Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth! Thanks for the awesome card. :):):) I have not watched Vampire Diaries yet. Will have to add it to my list. We just watched What We Do in the Shadows which was hilarious. :):):)
Comment: I love this picture! Good quote, too. Because OMG that is one of my life's mottoes. I can't stand it when people complain and complain. It's like, you can complain about something for 3-4 days, and then either FIX it or ACCEPT it. Back to the picture - it looks like a B&W version of one of those human statues. I wonder if it was. It says who it was and that she was being Joan of Arc, but doesn't tell if she was being a statue or acting. Anyway, thanks and I'm sorry for the late rating. I've not been well and am catching up tonight.
Comment: Thanks, Dawna. I got a good laugh from your card. It was perfectly timed as I just spent my first night in a camper van in which I will probably be doing some future road trips. It was comfortable & had all the basics but there was NO storage space! I may frame the card and hang it over the bunk!
Comment: Love this! Thanks! It reminded me so much of another artist, Ken Brown, that I love. I was in Detroit over the weekend. Now I'm catching up on garden stuff. I need to overhaul my succulents. Have fun! :):):)
Comment: That’s interesting with your weather. When it’s in the 60s here in Idaho, we think that is warm. But you’re saying it is cool to you. Anything’s a nice change from 20 degree days. Thanks and enjoy your spring weather.
Comment: Hi Dawna thank you for the "Giselle" ballet PC. The only ballet I ever watched was a performance of "the secret garden" and it was pretty good but ballet is not my thing. Happy Spring swapping peace love light
Comment: Thanks for the great swap postcards and extras, Dawna. I especially like the glow-in-the-dark Little Prince one, & the 1930's WPA Health poster. And I think I've spotted that hitchhiking wildlife on the Al-Can Highway :-)) P.S. Love your bird washi!
Comment: Thanks for the postcard! I have friends in CA and have visited a few times myself. I love it and would live there if it wasn't so expensive! I haven't been to the botanical garden yet, but a couple of my friends go sometimes and they love it. I need to make the time!
Comment: I love this card so much! I knew it was a vulture but not specifically a condor until I read it. So beautiful. I love the vultures here, they do good work cleaning up all the roadkill ;) I've always heard of the San Diego zoo, I need to get there someday. Thank you! :):):)
Comment: Thanks for great postcards that fit my interests and extras! What a spectacular view of Sacre Coeur in Paris - don't have that one! Classy typewriter and don't have Pixar's Presto yet either! Nice postage also.
Comment: Thank you for the card. I kinda giggled when I saw it cause I also sent a Javalina to my partner for this swap, plus I'm pretty sure we've traded before in one of the FB groups lol. Have a great day!
Comment: Eeee, love this 'squellette'! That is the coolest french word. It's been a real smattering of sunny and rainy here. I like both, but the rain makes me sleeeeepy. All the flowers are blooming right now, so it's hard to be gloomy even if it's rainy. Cheers! :):):)
Comment: Thanks for the nice selection of PCs, Dawna, and the extra note card you included as well. Pinocchio was always a favorite tale of mine, though I must admit I prefer the original book to the Disney version of the story. The Polar Bear cubs are adorable.
Comment: Hi Dawn, Thanks for the wonderful postcards. I have been hoping to receive the famous sailor kissing a lady in the street after WWII is over postcard, for a long time. You really made my day! Love them all. Thanks again.
Comment: thank you for the multiview of Zittau. Germany is my neighbourcountry. I've been there quite often. We have friends in Bremen (postcrossingfriend) and in Haltern (met in Spain). In 2015 we made a trip along several big cities: Leipzig, Dresden, Erfurt, Jena. Very much history. I was never in Zittau sofar.
Comment: Thank you for your Scatt Postcard! We had the same answer for Clothes. No 1. Kool for your answers! Cake makes me happy too! Hope you make them from scratch so they are really tasty and can be good for the body if you make them from scratch! A good chocolate cake with good chocolate buttercream frosting is hard to beat! Enjoy!
Comment: Thanks for the lovely selection of cards and the amazing envelope and stamps. Sorry for the delay in rating but this was another envelope which spent Christmas and New Year in the sorting office. At least it wasn't lonely!
Comment: Laughed when I read your comments about the president exercising in his suit. It may have been a photo op but back they did everything in their suits. Your PC is the final one for this series, thank you!
Comment: I have been to Paris twice. Once for about 4 days then once for a day trip. (Both were side trips from Belgium, which I like a lot better than France!) London was ok, but I prefer the smaller towns in England. However, I do love NYC as a big city visit! Hope you make it to them all! Thanks for the b&w illustration of Paris, it's cool!
Comment: thanks for swap - I do apologise for the late reply. I only received yesterday 7th November as your parcel went to my old address that I had not realised was still in the listing. Thank you again for being my swap partner - I loved the cards.
Comment: What a cool postcard, such a cute dog and pretty stamps! :) Sounds great growing up with those dogs. But surely your cats are amazing as well, I think both cats and dogs are great in their own way, I would love to have either :) Best wishes!
Comment: Dawna ...love, love, LOVE my chicken postcard...this hen is frame worthy and it really made my day to see her roosting in my mail box!!! And even a "chicken" quote to follow up the theme....something to crow about...hugs and happy fall Charlene
Comment: Thanks for the wonderful Charley Harper pc of the blue jay bathing. A family of blue jays eat from my feeders every day and take big splashing baths in the bird bath. Harper captured the motion perfectly! Thanks for sending blank in an envie & including the extra one too.
Comment: Hello Dawna!
Thank you so much for the Rockford Illinois postcard! It looks like a nice town, I would love to visit someday! we do have a lot in common! Maybe we could do a 1:1 swap sometime! Also loved the Paul Bunyan and blue ox stamps! We have a giant statue of them in the upper penninsula I’m a fan!!Thanks!
Response: So glad you liked what I sent. Would love to swap again with you. I have a trading album on Flickr if you want to take a look :)
Comment: This was sitting unopened in a pile of opened letters. Not sure how long. But it's open now and getting rated. :) Thank you for the postcards. I love the nurse, kinda spooky even though she isn't supposed to be. I sent all animals, it was not easy to find all the letters. Thank goodness I had a narwhal! :0 Best to you and happy swapping.
Comment: I love all you sent. Sleeping Koala, so sweet and all those pretty cards! Thank you. I was just in NYC and walked 22,000steps on Sunday, partly on 3 hour mystery tour. I impressed myself. I was celebrating my birthday with daughter from London.
Comment: I drove cross country years ago and saw the Arch too. I was surprised how big it was. I stayed a night in St Louis but didn’t have time to do much but eat and sleep! Thanks for sharing your story!!! : )
Comment: I am with you on glamping! haha I tented enough as a kid. I like having my comfy bed and indoor plumbing...can wake up , have a cup of coffee and just go. No need to roll up the beds and pack away the tent..haha Thank you for joining the swap :)
Comment: Dawna, thank you for the postcard of the Brighton Pier. What a fantastic pier. It seems to have everything. No, I have never been to England and I do not believe I will be going anytime soon. Shirley
Comment: Thank you for the postcard! It's funny how on the West Coast we grow up with all these images of Eastern birds - I have definitely been very excited about seeing them for the first time! My favorite Cornell bird cam right now is the Laysan albatrosses.
