Comment: Good book reviews...I saw A Clockwork Orange when I was very young, my early 20's I believe. I especially like the design on the envelope ha ha, because they are traditional Hawaiian quilt designs. I once used the radiating pineapple design to make a quilted pillow cover. Thanks

It's nice to receive something from someone who lives in Oklahoma. FYI: You may want to check the weight on your package because it came with insufficient postage which needed 68 cents more.
Response: Thank you for the heads up. I'm glad you liked the cards, but sad to hear the postage wasn't correct! I took it to the counter, had it weighed, and watched the person put the postage on the envelope and hand stamp the stamps! I wonder if the envelope was bigger than standard and she didn't account for that?

When we named our oldest daughter Jennifer, we didn't know anyone with that name. Like you, she had multiples in all her classes. The same thing happened with our second daughter 5 years later: Caitlin!

Response: I'm a teacher, so that quote is really important to me. I have so little time with my students, I feel like, I don't want to "steal their time". And since I teach electives (drama/speech/debate), I know they CHOSE to take my class so I want to make sure it's worth it!

Comment: The Vonnegut play sounds wonderful! I have never seen Mad Men (we don't have cable) but I do like the fashion of the day ... both hippie and professional. I wish I had kept all my clothing from the 60s. My granddaughter would love to play dress up in them :-)
Response: We don't have cable, either---we are breezing through them on Netflix, and I'm a little obsessed! Right now I'm trying to costume a play I"m directing in the Mad Men style and It's been a lot of fun!

Comment: Thanks for the colourful recipe PC, yes we can get avocados here, the ones from supermarkets are mostly imported from Australia, but surprisingly we can find avocado trees growing in the city. I just saw one the other day in my neighbourhood, but I dont dare to ask for free avocados haha ;-)
